I've been doing music in Nashville for over twenty years, PROs do nothing for you, unless you are a pretty girl, then they might. And it's always been a clique, but now it is a wokie clique. Mostly females calling the shots too, so emotion is superior to reason, masculinity is not allowed, and white dudes are out too because of the woke mindset. Keep that in mind if you are a male and white. DIY is best. My advice, avoid trying to 'fit in' with this clique not matter your gender or level of masculinity or skin color, they aren't the 'cool' kids at all, they are just narcissistic and insecure, who need 13 songwriters to write one crappy song, you'll keep your dignity and peace of mind via DIY. If they like your work they'll contact you, but they will want all your rights because they think they are 'superior' to you. ALWAYS PASS, unless they offer you some good upfront, 'bonus' money. In short, don't pursue them, or suck up, they are mostly full of it, very emotional, and full of themselves. It's a DIY world. You don't need them if you are truly capable and talented, they need you. Peace.
