I am building automation to make selling digital art on Etsy easy... But I got wrecked by the platform because in the middle of my developments, they decided they won't integrate apps that use LLMs. 💀💀💀 (Just a word of caution, but other than that it is great for builders :D)
ohyeahhhh it is inspiring, thanks! I'm currently building a business intelligence (BI) tool specifically designed for SMEs and growing companies. This AI-powered platform will provide insights into various scaling approaches, marketing strategies, and financial planning across different industries.
@@edithnmuyambiri2739 oh thank you for that, ohyeahhh will some helping hands. Currently trying to fix authentication flow with the dev and find representatives in differnt countries to have a small number of new business, startup owners or old business owners to test the product and use it to gain clariity and insight into their product
The spotlight on how emerging technologies like AI and cloud computing are revolutionizing entrepreneurship is incredibly insightful. Staying ahead of tech trends not only fuels innovation but also democratizes the ability to launch impactful businesses at a lower cost. 🔑

Something I find interesting is that certain technologies offer massive advantages but don't get as much attention as AI. For example, NodeJS packages rewritten in Rust can deliver 1000x speed gains and computational savings. These benefits are less obvious, but they can give startups a significant edge. We use a recent advancement in data storage to create a service that operates at unprecedented scale - and even crazier, the server is a single 2019 iMac, serving thousands of users weekly (it could likely serve millions). A competitor would have to rewrite their entire system around similar technologies to stand a chance.
What other things offer massive advantages but are severely underrated? This is the first time I've heard about rewriting packages in rust being so impactful. Thank you for your knowledge.
@@michaelthomson5125 what? Firstly "NodeJS" is not a language. There's tons of cases where you will see massive improvements. Anything that allocates a lot of memory, for example anything that creates arrays on the fly in JS will tend to be quite slow. Also look at how much a node server can handle vs an axum server, etc. Not always 1000x, but often 10 or a 100. JS/whatnot have also been optimized in many cases to the speed of C due to the V8 engine, but there are still many areas in which it's quite slow. Additionally, look at recent advancements in wasm for more areas that could give companies an edge for certain applications. AI has somewhat overshadowed other technological advancements.
@@kamronaustin it wouldn't. They are developing physical products. Lol. I guess the equivalent would be if there are many new manufacturing techniques being explored. Maybe you can make your hardware with SLS 3D printing or whatever the latest is - or maybe in the wings there is something even newer than that which could be advantageous.
@@user-fu6qi9un8c look at the new programming language, Bend (written on top of Rust). It writes entirely parallelized code. There are tons of optimizations and innovations to be explored there.
It was very inspiring!🎉 how should I prepare my mind to this path? Should I learn about machine learning, make basic llm-s…so learn about the technical details, or B should I focus on seeing what others have built using AI, see what is possible, and maybe that will generate new ideas?
Hey guys, it's just a matter of brainstorming to ascertain the next great business idea that no one else has put into play. The sooner you can develop your idea and send it to market, the better off you will be!🎉😊😊
Definitely inspiring! I could listen to you two talk all day 💯 Our team is currently using AI tech to enhance Atmospheric Waste Management strategies. The goal is to have this new industry providing an effective public service for us all
I’m looking for early contributors who want to work towards developing ‘deep learning models of human traits, ambitions and habits to make an everyday micro planner’. I’m currently learning and exploring neural networks and its appropriate application. Any specialists are more than welcome to guide. The project will require expertise in the fields of human psychology, financial planning & machine learning. If you have the entrepreneurial flair and some subject knowledge along the lines of what I require, feel free to drop a message.
It inspires. But, if we take the generative AI trend (both LLMs and images), I don't see too many people managing to build businesses around it. Yes, there are a couple guys who built RAG apps, a few more did something similar with the Stable Diffusion image gen... A couple opportunities came up in adult content generation, both text and images. A few open source first companies like langchain. Some existing infrastructure companies are having a good time, those who're basically selling shovels (vector databases, model hosting companies, etc). The only good examples are probably Midjourney and Leonardo, they seem to be making good money and having a margin. But besides that, nothing really changed. We have a lot of enthusiasm and resources put into the development. But everyone does that, from Microsoft, Adobe and Salesforce to 1 men startups. I want to be wrong. But I don't see too many companies where the product is built for the end user and the end user really benefits from using it. Like we all benefit from sending emails, surfing the internet, having smartphones, etc.
It really depends on how we define a 'business'. When I was in college, I made a lot of money creating live wallpapers, then transitioned to making photo editing apps, launchers, and games. With just three friends, we were making close to $5k/day from these experiments with zero dollars spent on marketing. I can't simply do that in the App Store now. The point here, in my opinion, is that there are still plenty of opportunities and less competition in emerging fields. Just because the landscape has changed doesn't mean the potential for success isn't there. Innovation and adaptability are key. We need to keep experimenting and finding new niches where we can provide real value to end users.
I think you are completely wrong. AI is being built into and used to build many new businesses across every industry. It can be used at every level to increase speed, iterate on improvements and automate product features that previously were coded logic or human based. While the bohemoths like google now have AI built into 2 billion products, new startups are just being launched and soon we will be in what seems like a completely different world when these companies reach main stream adoption. This is a new revolution of humanity.

Ooops... I reflexively included our domain in my earlier reply. We are building the first completely INCLUSIVE sports competition system: Democratic Sport. It's designed specifically to thrive in the advent of AGI.
