How NFL Plus Works! Don't Waste Your Money! 

NFL Plus was the perfect opportunity for the NFL to give the fans the exact streaming service coverage they wanted but they just dropped the ball. Fans want a streaming service that gives them the option to pick a team/division/group of teams and be able to stream all their games. You can do add ons for things like coaches film, replays, and condensed games. So allow us to get all the games from our favorite team, division, or pick a pack of teams! That is the streaming experience the fans really want.💯

First, THANK YOU. For me, you've hit the nail on the head. NFL + is completely useless to me. I have RU-vid TV, I have Prime. I don't need mobile access to what I already have. What I need is to see the Bills Ravens game like the rest of the country including Northern California! Here in LA, they're showing the Chargers Houston game. Needless to say, I will not be tuning into that game as have ZERO interest in it.

I have NFL+ Premium and for me it's ok. I am that NY Giants fan living in California that you talked about in the video. I get to watch full game replays on my TV of all the (Giants) games (yeah, why bother this year!! :( LOL). Since the early games come on out here at 10am and end around 1pm or shortly after, I just find something to do until later in the day, without checking any scores. I can then sit down and watch the full game which, although a replay, it's live for me. Beats going out to Buffalo Wild Wings and dropping $$ on wings and beers that I can fix at home much cheaper.

Excellent video ,for this poor man I use the RU-vid t v for what games I watch NFL. I’m mostly college . And I have the NFHS for nationwide high school games.if I had a choice on this NFL plus I would get the premium package so I could go back and watch other games . I think the real value is having NFL red zone if that's your thing. Being able to stream all your local games is nice too if your state has a team.

You can connect your laptop to the TV using an HDMI cord or a cord for an Apple device. Also, you can mirror your phone easy.

NFL plus is so disappointing I was trying to watch non local games and you can only listen ../ waste of money

I bought the standard subscription and it worked out good for me because of the hours I work

How long after a live game do they play the out of market replays? And are there any spoilers (like on tv the nfl channel has all the scores scrolling on the bottom)

I'm curious as to how they determine what your local market it is. I watched all of the 49ers games last year using RU-vid TV with a mock GPS location app. don't know if that would work for this, but I'll wait and see ig.

So I live in the Bay Area if I get the $5 a month can I watch the 49ers every week and Sunday night and Monday night

The main value of this was for watching out of market preseason games and MNF. Preseason games could be viewed on any device included TVs. And since I get my TV OTA, NFL+ lets me watching MNF games on the iPad. Not as good as a bigger screen, but still cheaper than paying for a streaming service to get ESPN.

Can you choose to watch a game from the beginning if it started an hour ago? (without having to go to a spot where the score might be showing) I usually DVR games because I’m usually stuck doing something around the house and I don’t want to have to wait until they are over if that is how it works.

S I is it safe to assume if you have a RU-vid tv subscription this is useless. Same games I would have on that subscription which is also mobile? Or are there additional games

The service is so stupid it's always asking for a tv provider when I want to watch a game and when I sign in and it just asks me to sign in again over and over, it just never works

I do wish they would stop the contract with cable and just charge a bit more to watch any game on the app. OR at the very least in the contract with networks don't make it exclusive to cable. Factor in that NFL CAN show the broadcast on the app.

They haven't even fixed their play by play sub on the website yet... it's been over a year now.

They also charge you 3 days before your free trail ends.

Excellent synopsis of the disadvantages of the new NFL+ service. I got Premium because the idea of watching condensed games throughout the week that I missed on Sunday is nice, even if only on my phone. Definitely a bummer that it has blackout games. But sadly, it's to be expected.

I can still cast using the smartview button on galaxy..will it work for the nfl+ service tho?

What really upsets me is streaming replays. that stop and go. then I go to RU-vid and watch the story version. with no stop and go. :-)

if it’s “local and prime time games” im s bears fan and one week i couldn’t watch the game but he was able to watch the bears game. keep in mine we don’t live 2 milies away from each other

How about using the lightning digital AV converter to the tv?

RU-vid TV owns the rights to all NFL games regardless of location. They would loss money. It cost something like $400 to have access to all games. So, allowing Joe Public to access all games for $5-$15 per week will bankrupt RU-vid TV

In 2023 the raised price to 14.99 also useless 6.99 plan that unless I did something wrong I can only watch NFL network while games or going on are obviously cancelled.

Good video and helpful. But there might be another way to get it on your TV. They don't have an option to cast from the app. But most phones have the option to connect via DeX or Mirror. Might be a way to work around it maybe?

You sir are exactly right,. You have hit it on the nose why would they make this app and you cannot watch it on regular television on a television excuse me? I am unable to get local stations sometimes because they're broadcast signal somehow is so weak that you can't get a digital signal. Why they ever changed it from analog to digital is still be on my understanding. There was a time when I could watch the NFL on CBS on Fox on NBC when it was a Sunday night game on ABC what it was Monday Night Football. This digital content that they have that's supposed to be so much better is a bunch of BS. So they want you to buy cable and I believe that is the main reason why they switched from analog to digital because they could adjust the digital signal to frustrate you into buying cable. That is a whole of a conversation. Not being able to watch this NFL without providing a cable provider is ridiculous. I just canceled my subscription for this very reason. 1 day in week 4 im a ravens fan and i wanted to see the bills vs ravens but i was in pittsburgh so we couldnt watch it we trysd nfl plus and we almost got scammed we got it to see our game that we could only apparently listen to and we could only see the local steelers game bruh they said watch your game on the go but u cant h can only listen if your not in the area

They just started letting you cast the NFL+ app to your TV my friend uses a Galaxy phone and it let him stream it to his Samsung TV.

Did u try using a VPN to change ur location? And can you use an HDMI cable that connects to your phone to watch on TV?

This only works if your always on the go on Sunday’s and/or you want the cheapest way to watch it and don’t mind watching from the phone.

It's only for when they're showing a game and you cant be at home during the NFL season. You're paying an incredible amount of money to be able to view it on your phone.

I watched the replay of an entire football game on a smartphone. Could not screencast to my bedroom TV which was majorly disappointing. Hopefully I can figure out how to get the nfl app on my TV.

Yea, I don't understand why the NFL just can't have an app that will be supported for all smart TV's and support all the games to watch. 2022......... Come on NFL!!!! I am a Chicago Bears fan, and the Chicago Bears app you can watch the game for free in there, but also you cannot cast it to the TV, well you can, but it will be a black screen and all you can do is hear it on the TV... I just don't understand why the NFL plays these hoops of people just trying to watch a game on their TVs. Drives me nuts!

Could you watch the game on your TV after the game? It says replays of games, but does it mean all NFL games, or just the ones you can watch on your mobile, and are those only on mobile, too? I have also read that after the game is over, you can't watch it again of finish it if you had it paused. This looks like a misleading pile of crap. There are not many reviews, yet, only what is being offered.
