Exactly! I dont know why these Ghanaians and Cameroonians r sooo proud over nothing. Just ask for support and Nigerians will help. And Nigerians r not too proud to ask for support. On IG everyday, I see Nigerians asking bigger brands to mentor them. We love learning, and we r ready to be mentored and we believe it will get us to the top. Nigerians dont play with business learning opportunities
If you need to eat 80% of your farm produce then your farm is probably small, but if you eat 5% and can sell 95% then your farm is likely a very large farm. Naija 🇳🇬 to the world. ❤
English speaking cameroon is closer culturally to Nigeria than Ghana. We speak English with almost the same accent. Our pigin English is almost the same and shared the common period of colonialism as one country before the referendum. Joining the French speaking cameroon led to some of these problems in their entertainment industry. Kocee is smart and selfless. Black sheriff was introduced to Burna boy by Poco Lee. We should not undergrate any person.
If only Cameroonian artists and creatives can collaborate with Nigerians or rush for Nigerian support without feeling ashamed or letting pride dominate their thoughts of reasoning .. it would have been great
@@darlinglyonga Don Jazzy humbles himself and make skits with content creators just to push his artistes but unknown Cameroonian artistes feel too big to market their craft. Look at Ayra Starr, less than 4 years in the industry and she's global mingling with Rihannna. In fact, check out a self funded artiste like Portable making waves even internationally. I swear una never ready
Life no be by calculation as you think. Easy to say but real life is not sane if not u self come naija come promote your brand. Cameroon are trying their best built more work start from home. No be to rush go were food dey. If them go delve give u
Nigerians act like a community....we are taught to rely on each other growing up; older siblings are taught to take care of younger ones. If you are in trouble, you seek help, no need for pride; pride doesn't pay bills. This mentality continues to adulthood; we tend to look out for each other, whether friends, neighbours or whatever, to support your people. So supporting and showing love to our artistes or any one we like comes naturally. Part of the reason why our entertainment industry blew up
Absolutely! The potential for creativity and innovation when Cameroonian and Nigerian artists collaborate is immense. By setting aside pride and embracing collaboration, both communities can uplift each other, creating a vibrant and dynamic cultural exchange. The synergy between the two can lead to groundbreaking art, music, and creative endeavors that resonate far beyond their borders. Unity in creativity can foster mutual growth, strengthen cultural ties, and elevate both nations on the global stage.
@@kangjevis8433 Like I said Cameroon have to up their game. Who need who. For example Nigeria artists are over the words. Take example USA. We started going to America to promote our song link up with today we have learn a lot. We did not say both us and USA should collaborate .. just like Cameroon. Nigeria will let stand so low for u guys. Same way Cameroonian artists will stand so low for Togo or Benin. U guys have to get your fact before coming to say Nigeria and Cameroon should callobrate. If you want Nigeria market so the needful. Because Nigeria has done it and made it with no help
Nigerian artists are currently filling 02 arena and stadiums but there were an era which they usually tour Europe and the United States performing at night clubs and i remember some people (including some Nija media personalities) used to mock them for performing at night clubs overseas
A Nigerian musician popularized the phrase “We Rise Up By Raising Others Up.” This is the culture of most Nigerians but you find this mentality lacking among African countries where everyone wants to be the only star and everyone else onlookers.
Our advantage is our population. A star in Cameroon,Ghana,Kenya,Uganda etc in Africa is a street talent here in Nigeria guys. An artist wey don blow worldwide from 9ja is a champion, foeget.
Our advantage is more than population. Jamaica stole the world attention years ago with reggae. India n China have big population,’y is Indian music not global? Abeg Naija advantage is talent, good attitude, resilience and excellent business acumen
Nigeria did not take over the African entertainment industry. Nigeria has always been in the forefront of the entertainment industry over the last 20 years. Some African countries are just beginning to realize the influence of Nigeria in the space. Nigeria is not competing with any country in Africa.
We are you guys not talking about Yémé??? That guy is 🔥 never knew he was a Cameroonian, regardless of him singing in french, I enjoy his songs still🎉❤
@darlinglyonga you are very beautiful. I just love your attitude and passion. Enhance linkage with some Nigerian artists and cameroonian artists. Your show has potential.
PLS GUYS STOP DISCUSSING NEGATIVITY AMONG YOURSELFS AS AN AFRICAN! RATHER WE ALL FOCUS ON POSSITIVITY AS ALWAYS AND LET US ALSO REMEMBER TO BE OUR BROTHERS KEEPERS AS USUAL REGARDLESS OF OUR INDIVIDUAL DIFFERENCES? 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬
@darlinglyonga, am a Nigerian but, seriously dear sis; i love you and the amazing woman and work you are doing. Keep it up, the sky is your limit okay.
Nigeria has woken up all Africa. But where were you people when America and Jamaica dominated? The jealousy towards Nigeria is also holding your people back.
Please that guy is CY local nothing international about him .... Cocee is a smart guy and a selfless human trying to promote his country men .. white money has the platform and cocee made good use of it ... One love from Agege Lagos Nigeria
From this interview, it's obvious why Cameroon entertainment industry is lagging behind. Mr. filmmaker, educate yourself and get monetised on RU-vid. skit makers in Nigerians were making so much money on Facebook before the country was officially monetized.
Your setting is professional.. you will gain good audience. You need better informed guest.. these 2 guys are too local for international knowledge. You need more exposed people that are in the industry. Hello from your Naija American from Tx. Have a good day!
Sorry to say, but this your film maker guest is definitely not ready to up his game. So he's looking down on RU-vid? Very funny. The movie industry in Nigeria is made up of both large screen (cinemas) and small screen (Netflix , prime video, RU-vid etc). But surprisingly enough, those on the small screens are cashing out the more cos they've monetized it. Producers like Ruth Kadiri, UCHENNA MBUNABO and others have already started breaking into the Francophone market by creating RU-vid channel specifically for the francophone people and posting movies in french language. This your movie maker never ready for business. No wonder your female guest yesterday said that Cameroonians are too comfortable with where they are. Too bad! With this mentality, train go leave una go.
The man in white cap understand the music showbiz…. Diamond platinum has been milking our songs and make more money even than some of Nigerian artists…
Organising shows abroad is not cheap. You need money which Cameroonian artists can't afford. They don't have the financial support of the record labels. Stanley Eno for example is not known for a genre of song. It is a bit complicated but Cameroon entertainers just don't have the financial support yet.
The guy on white is far more intelligent 🧠. The moment u guys stop listening to Pacho and Co then u guys will make a break through. As an ordinary Nigerian, I was amused with how u guys can not fully leverage on Nigerian Artistes. All odds are just against u guys in terms of population, money, content, acceptability etc rather for u guys to see Nigerian Artistes as collaborators as against competitors. The likes of Pacho are just failure and blocked headed. Nigerian Artistes can do without cameroon anyday anything
They were given the chance to decide whether to be part of Nigeria or Cameroon the western part of Cameroon chose to be with Cameroon while the northern part of Cameroon saw the opportunity the influence and power Nigeria possesses how important it’s to be with Nigeria and they choose Nigeria that was how they divided trust me how the been the western part of Cameroon are Nigerian their artist would have gone far
Hello how about an official afrobeat record label in nigeria. Afro beat made over $100 million worldwide last year ans only 2% of that came to nigeria? Oyinbo made the most of that money, wassup people,. Let's protect our thing
Please leave Nigeria 🇳🇬 alone. Focus on yourself. This channel is no longer positive for Nigeria. Your using this channel to stylishly give avenue for bloggers to downgrade us.
What's the big deal are not supposed to take over a nation of over 250 million. Maybe you should show me how the dominate development, football, electricity, bet roads, vest institutions, and hospitals. Maybe you should show me how Nigerians have produced great leaders in Africa.
