From what I have seen (in my humble opinion) African designer's are some of the best designers in the world. Their attention to detail is impeccable, their color combinations are unique and vibrant and they are top tier tailors. They know how to get the perfect fit everytime on ANY body shape. I'm always impressed 👏🏾

The dress is really beautiful. Nice decorations. That's a lot of work right there. She deserves accolades. The only issue I have is the "modest" that you used. It's like we're forgetting the meaning. The upper part of her breasts and the cleavages that we've always been told to cover are glaring. You can't deny that you didn't see them.

Yes, Nigerian fashion is gorgeous especially the lace fabrics and detail work like this. Traditionally: Ankara is cotton fabric dyed with various colors to achieve those printed designs.
It's drop dead gorgeous dress that looks like an homage to Disney's Sleeping Beauty's Malificent dragon! And what a magnificent fit! I've always loved that color combination of black, purple and green since I saw that movie as a kid.

I am unaware of Veekee before I gave lace material which I paid for to a designer who then charged me #250,000 just to make mine, and #180, 000 for my daughter in law. It arrived in England after my departure from Nigeria, only to return it back because it wasn’t my size. Not very happy, but I wished I have knowledge of good reputable designers, I would have gone for her/him, having such personal to do your clot(s will take off the stress on big days. I will aim for my daughter’s wedding dress and my dress. God willing!
