Great tips for moms of little ones. I remember those days! As a mom of teenagers, I have the opposite problem. I sit down all the time because I have turned into a full-time chauffeur! haha Yep, I was promoted from servant to chauffeur! It's amazing how many places teenagers have to be EVERYDAY - 2 different schools, the gym, a job, meet up with friends, and so much more. :)
Seriously, this is something we struggle with alllllll the time, especially kitchen related tasks- drink, cup, snack, etc. So the timing on this was great, thanks!
(I’m a kid) I This is why I’m thankful for my mom, and also grateful. My mom does like everything to help you and let you live. She cooks you food, feeds you, and also having a roof over you’re head. I love my mom ;)
I have another tip:u can get a jar and when they clean up their own mess or get something their self put a marble in when it’s full give them a little treat

I’m a little (a lot) bit late, but this video was so helpful for me! Arthur is absolutely that kid who asks for a snack 10 minutes after eating! I do try to keep him entertained because more often than not he’s eating because he’s bored. Thanks so much for all the tips and tricks! 😘😘😘
You should do tips for how to deal with little kids during appointments. I currently am having to keep my 15 month son from running everywhere at the doctors while trying to have a good appointment, labs, ultrasounds etc. for this second pregnancy. 😊

i feel ya with the snacks... biggest game changer for this mum of four under 7 was to make up lunches boxes for my children in the morning whether or not we were leaving the house. particularly because i was already packing lunches for my two school children why not do the other two at the same time..... saving me a lot of time in the kitchen and kids can grab themselves at appropriate time. great advice on here!
I have two grandsons that are 3 & 5, when they come to laulie' and pap e's house we do snack boxes each morning...they pick out the snacks they want in their box from homemade golf fish to cut up or peeled fruit we have even made fruit roll ups!! They are very mindful of their snacking when we have baked or prepared them! They can take all day to graze and come back to their snack boxes or trade items with one another but they know once it's gone there is no more snacking! It has saved my days as I felt like that I was constantly getting a snack then cleaning up a snack! Hope this helps one mommy or grand mommy!
When my siblings and I were young, my dad did this thing where he would buy a giant box of Pokemon and Digimon card packets. Whenever he wanted a massage, he would have one of us walk on his back for 5-10minutes and as payment, give us a packet. Times that by 4 kids who would sometimes like to do double time for extra packets, I think we all got something good out of that deal.
2:22 trust me, this works with older kids too. My sister got a new MacBook 2 years ago, and she said I could have her old one if I babysit for her and help get the data off. At the same time, I had a big pile of stuff in my room that I needed to clean up. It sat for 2 months. She said I couldn't have it unless I clean up my room. It was done within 3 hours of her saying it. And it includes vacuuming my carpet, windows, etc.

Here's a tip for the snacks, the things it's okay that your kids can eat whenever and they don't need to ask you,put it on your kid's level in the pantry While the things they must ask you if they can eat put them on higher level inside the pantry so they couldn't take it themeselves
Hey! I’m def not a mom but I do baby-sit a little girl in my neighborhood. So we made a bag that is basically her weekly surprise. At the beginning of the week I say okay pick one from the bag! It can be anything from toys to a movie date. And then she has something to work towards at the end of the week. You can do this with homework but since she does homeschool it just makes it a lot easier. And I also have a trick with marbles. You take a 2 jars and marbles. Every time she finishes all of her lessons in less than 6 hours she gets a treat. I like to give candy bars and little lotions. But it all depends on who your kid is!
I always thought I was a bad mom for gaveling my kids get things for them selfs that they are able to get 😂.. my 4 year old takes out the trash and vacuum’s it’s the cutest thing ever he actually gets sad if I don’t let him do it
