This has the energy of a professor holding a lecture, except you're in the backroom of a half abandoned mall office space and the guy in front of you may or may not be trying to recruit you into a cult. Love it.
I get the Jesus thing all the time too. It's like if you grow your hair out and don't shave for a day or two, the best insult anyone can come up with is to tell you that you look like Jesus. Some of us just like our hair long goddammit! That shit takes forever to grow, so it's a commitment. And that whole, "It's just hair. It'll grow back" shit really sucks to hear. Yeah it will. In like...8 fucking months, and in the meantime you have to go through the "in-between" stages. *shudders* Those...those usually aren't real pretty... :(
I think why Mr Beast is so relatable despite being richer than 99.9% of all humans is that he actually does what people say they'd do if they were rich. You ask "what would you do if you have a billion dollars" and most people would be like "well I'd live in a nice house and drive expensive cars, buT ALSO CHARITY" yet very few youtubers actually do that shit
Kinda interesting that you’d put it that way because Markiplier does a lot of charity stuff but I don’t think he’s as relatable as Jacksepticeye who also does a lot of charity stuff. I wonder if it’s because Jack just seems more genuine and like he’s trying to have a good time.
Mr Beast also acts like a human. The friendships he has are genuine, and you can see that in the videos. There's "bro moments." He INCLUDES his friends. He does incredible shit for total strangers. He does so much charity. He's never (assholishy) bragged about his wealth, and has only ever shown gratitude towards his fanbase. He uses money as a tool rather than his whole personality. So yeah, he's relatable as hell! He's alot of the good in the world and it's really awesome to watch. Plus he manages to appeal to alot of different demographics (kids and [young] adults alike, etc) and that's sure to help at least a bit.
I think the bizarreness of his concepts help, like rich folks are often like “see I did a charity to (organization)” but Mr. Beast is like would YOU! Like a free car
how do i write a comment to express that i really liked this video and it makes me really happy that the creator i have followed religiously for quite a while now has grown so much and is obviously well on his way to finding a style of comedy that not only is original but also what he is good at. ok thank you i think i did it. tldr: ya cool
As someone who just stumbled upon his nearly 2 hour video on YandereDev/Simulator and thoroughly enjoyed it as my introduction to this beautiful channel a couple weeks ago, I completely agree with this comment.
Its really dangerous to to stand on Jake Pauls dashbard and being in front of him when driving.... Not because he might crash, but because he might start talking to you
so today someone made fun of me and was terrible to me because of my disability and my mobility aid and then i watched this and now i'm happy. thanks PAPA KAIJU. now i only want to die for other reasons. you know. like a normal person.
I always love how relaxed he is about supporting him a lot of people who do RU-vid professionally but are still in the 100k-999k range feel like they are begging for your money but he just says if you want to you can I’m gonna make the videos anyways but you can if you want to cause I won’t stop you
*THIS* ^ I watch/have watched a lot of creators and I find they tend to say similar things like, "If you enjoyed this video, consider supporting me on Patreon so I can continue making quality content like this" - and then maybe something about "expanding" or whatever. I know that's the line they have to tow - and they deserve to be paid for their excellent work (I try to watch creators *I* find to be top-tier, so take that as you will). But at the same time, it gets very tired and can feel manipulative - especially on channels where almost every video has a sponsor; and as someone who tends to binge content well after it's been uploaded, any discount code is likely to be dust in the wind by the time I come across it. So while I'm never *any* level of put-out by a sponsorship or even mostly the number of ads (more often I'm annoyed when it's the exact same ad, over and over again - although that seems reserved for only late-night channels like Seth Meyers or Samantha Bee, which does kinda make sense but doesn't make me hate T-Mobile or Geico any less lawl), there is something that feels very transactional and detached when creators pitch their Patreon or even ask you to "Like and Subscribe". I hate to think that those lame reminders (or "call to action" as they call it) actually work, but I'm cynical enough to know they probably do. TL;DR: It's nice to find someone else who gets it lawl.
This is it. This is peak Kappa Kaiju content. Makes sense while simultaneously embodying the line of logic that would come out of kicking a man down M.C. Escher's "Relativity" piece and watching him infinitely roll down stairs in every direction imaginable.
Kaiju: Anakin just kills the younglings for no reason Palpatine: " _Every single Jedi,_ including your friend, Obi-Wan Kenobi, is now an enemy of the Republic. Do what must be done, Lord Vader. *Do not hesitate. Show no Mercy.* " Yeah. No reason at all.
@@Keehmer17 i think they meant the other meaning of discriminate, which is basically "sith don't see any difference between someone who is simply born into the jedi order and someone who practises the jedi lifestyle, they kill both."
Jenna Marbles is a wonderful example of a RU-vidr who has gained a huge amount of money but is still very relatable to her audience. Similarly to the Ace family, she’s changed the type of videos she makes from when she first started, but unlike the Ace family, her expensive house is just the back drop of her videos and not the center.
The Ace family be like, "wow! We actually worked a day for $9/h!" And I'm like "lol, same except every day" and then I cry while they tell me the floor tiles in their new mansion are wrong and that their life shouldn't be this hard.
9:30 Really? Just gonna say the word "Honey" and NOT mention the free shopping tool that sits in your browser and scans the internet for the best promo codes when you checkout online?
I’ve been subscribed to you since the beginning and honestly this is my favorite video of yours. The bit with the Venn diagrams made me laugh out loud. Love you, thank you for uploading 🙂
This is why it pisses me off when Shane Dawson talks about how poor and unlikable he is from within his mansion, making a video for his millions of subscribers
I literally told myself that it wasn't going to take a nap and that I have "duty, purpose, and goals" then immediately rolled over and played this video
