What I took away from this vid: The polymer nozzle is to my GBB like the gastube is to the AR15, meaning it's designed to fail before anything else breaks and flings shit at my face.
good advice. building my own tm g18c. though, i can say that the stock recoil spring is actually pretty weak for metal slides. it works, but it bottoms out hard. helps push it over the hammer rotor on the way back, too.
Can you imagine if this guy had a half hour show doing wilderness oil paintings. "Now let's put an F-ing tree right here. And these mountains look like Sh!t so let's leave them right there!" 🤣
At last we see a guy who is clearly knowledgeable, skillful and experienced that give know BS. He is real and does not care about hurting anyones feelings. God bless individualism. Never change.
Great info on gas guns! GBBs are def my weak point so I turn them down when asked to repair them. You’ve cleared up a lot of info regarding the proper function on GBB pistols.
I learn more watching NA videos than quite literally any other airsoft channel on YT! And the extra salt is hilarious! Keep up the excellent work, now onto the next vid!
@@NegativeAirsoftTech need to clean there earholes out! some of your other vids the music is interfering with your cometary. must admit to looking up a few of the track......and some bring back good memories of a misspent youth!!!
Glad you have Even more experience than I do, I found it can help to polish some surfaces inside of the slide to get an ultra smooth experience. I found that all the black coated crap often causes more issues than it would help had they just left the parts unpainted/unfinished. I was curious about that, i picked up a 2nd hand g18c and much the same i had to go through quite a few different hammer springs to get 1 that would half way work. I Still do not have it 100% where id like. Even with the "best" at the time hammer spring. Don't even bother with a guarder spring for a glock mine broke within 1 mag.
so i have a WE g18c. should I shave the slide where you showed at 3:35 or is that bad? will it prevent the outer barrel from cracking? what should i use?
I know my gas guns, I know my gas guns, I'm right and you're wrong 😄👍 Tiny nit pick is that you didn't have the slide back when you changed the fire selector. If you have the slide forward it bends one of the parts right at the back over the full-auto sear. Other than that though mate spot on, really helpful 🤟
❓Neg, what would/do you do in the case of a KWC Beretta that has a hammer binding on the underside of the slide, causing it to get stuck towards the rear occasionally during automatic fire? I ask because you say to only take material from the slide, but in this case it's not really the ideal solution. File the hammer at the contact point a bit, right❓ Better question yet, how did they not notice this happening during development ..? 😂
@@NegativeAirsoftTech Nope, that isn't it - but I kinda suspected that wasn't the issue hence my earlier question. The gun has probably cycled less than 200 rounds so far. The hammer, when locked in it's "intended" position drags along the bottom of the slide (in particular, the housing for the piston assembly.)
@@NegativeAirsoftTech Yep. I can see where there is another tooth the hammer could possibly rest on but I feel like there was a defect in half of the hammer. It seems oversized which is preventing it from engaging that tooth
I'm at a loss why anyone fucks around with a TM pistol at all tbh. They perform brilliantly out of the box. Could you put what the music is in the description on the videos? I've watched a number where I've thought "That sounds good, wonder what it is"
I often need to remix the music for length, silent parts, matching up the what's on the screen... That was 3 versions of the same track from the Silent Hill 4 ; The Room OST remixed by me :-)
@@andrewblackmore3150 real job 35 hours a week, Negative Airsoft, my airsoft sites... if you want to PayPal me £6 For a bottle of red wine, I'm all ears! Lmao
Was sent a shoe box of parts when a guy tried to build a STEEL g18 build. Put half the parts in backwards and the other half was not compatible. Took me a few months to get all the correct parts in and then fit everything. Guy had the aluminum nozzle in and it didn't even seal to the magazines lol.
Change the rubber, leave the rest alone bud. If you want long life span a full steel hammer mech but honestly, just buy a complete WE lower instead for the same price. The WE hammer spring is strong enough to open the valve on any gas.
@@NegativeAirsoftTech ah ok. I own a WE and ive owned it for 4 years with zero maintenance in its first year of ownership as i was a bit i unawares of the maintenance required. Currently i cant decide weather to retire it and buy a VFC G19 or plow money into my current WE.
Me seeing my first Negative Airsoft video: Damn this guy's tone is very rude. Me seeing 2193987. Negative Airsoft video: How stupid people can be and how is he still sane??
[Laughs in £56 Army Armament R17 + Maple Leaf rubber] From BBGuns4Less, even. Yes, I know. But they delivered what they said they'd deliver, next day. I'm as astonished as anyone to find that these thing actually work. That's all you need to spend on a usable G17. The Maple Leaf is just gravy.
Yet another awesome NA video.. I oughta be a new.subscriber by now.. Apparently he totally knows his airsoft GBBs.. Soo.. How about a full taredown of the whole ASG CZ Shadow2? I'd be interested to see what tv fuck (sorry - cussing is a must on this channel) he has ro say about that one..
What are your thoughts on the TM Glock 22?? I really like them but a lot of the reviews don’t seem reliable. You know your stuff. So I’d rather have the opinion of someone who knows what they are on about. Cheers 👍🏻
No problem. Think they are similar to the G17 and the reviews of them seem pretty positive. I’ve just bought a TM Desert Eagle. So don’t think much else would get used for a bit. Cheers anyway
The barrel drop mod is better than filing the slide imo, but it’s not like you had a choice when they’d already hacked at it 😂 the aluminium nozzles are absolute shit, no reason for them at all unless you hate your bbu
Then theirs me, wise advice from an amateur bedroom techie; DOUBLE FUCKING CHECK that the trigger spring for your gun (In my case, a HK3 PX4) is NOT the compact one, and is instead the full size. And FUCKING DON'T tighten an internal hex screw into a plastic body to the point that it strips. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
