The reason why he squeaking is cause he’s stressed out all ways remember to support the bottom half of the guinea pig too. but do not touch there butt also, she was kind of choking with him with her thumbs just remember to know what you’re doing before you get a guinea pig (yes, I know it says how to not hold a guinea pig)❤ Tysm for the likes

GUYS, the title says "How NOT to hold a guinea pig"

Of course that poor baby is screaming. You are providing no support to the delicate rear at all causing immense stress on its’ already fragile spinal structure. On top of that you have it in a painful under-arm grip… your hand pressure is crushing its’ ribs and since I already mentioned that there is no rump support, the weight of its’ body is putting so much pressure on the points where you are holding the guinea pig. These animals are so much smaller than you and thusly require much more deliberation in the way that they are handled. Please please please never hold the poor little guy like this ever again. Please also study their anatomy so you can further understand why they should not be held in such a manner. It could honestly prevent you completely from seriously hurting it.

Omg this reminds me of these kids in my neighborhood they would grab their guinea pigs just like that even tho I told them not to and these kids would abuse the guinea pigs which broke me but luckily my aunt rescued them and now their in a safe home ❤

heres a tip to hold your guinea pig a little like that but they’ll like it!: (⚠️THIS IS FOR SOME GUINEA PIGS. NOT ALL⚠️ my guinea pig who used to be sick loves this. its the only way to hold her) firstly, hold your hand a little under their paws (2 paws on the top). then you can hold your hand on the bottom!

I work with Guinea pigs, they are unpredictable on how they will react when you hold them. You’ll know when they are uncomfortable if they squirm around and scream, it’s just their instincts you’ll need to gain their trust. With all that said, definitely hood your pet Guinea pig close to you as if you are burping a baby and gain their trust before they allow you to interact with them. I’m sure this little guy was fine and was only timid, which is normal.
