@@toto_n-n3073 I noticed that too that Keith was bent over more in the second round and I think he did that to help Ned some since it didn't look like either of them were flexible enough to get their kicks up higher. when I spar my white belts or shorter people I always get down lower so they can have a better chance of hitting unless I know they have the flexibility and leg control to get their kicks up then I'll stay like I normally fight. Game went down after kick below the belt. Keith lost all confidence, and instead of pulling kicks through, he had to kick while constantly protecting his jewels, so never really kicking from then on 😔 but then he couldn't blame anyone cuz they were not compatible in height for first match ever.

Back in the day when scoring sensors werent a thing yet it also included power.because you really need to make that hogu make the cracking sound to score a point and knocking out your opponent with a kick to the head is an instant win so yeah tkd became more tamer nowadays its more of a leg fencing than real unadultered taekwondo.

Dang, I wanted to see Eugene attempt against an Olympian. But since he has a black belt... I guess that's a bit of an advantage!

I really want to know why paige has kicked someone in the face in real life, somebody was really messing with the wrong pal

Well again, she said that face kicks are worth 3-5 points in this sport, so I think that that has something to do with it.

@@ianlee4565 head kicks, not face kicks. Pretty sure face kicks that would break a nose would be a point deduction. Plus, they asked about in “real life” which, to me, means outside of the sport.

@@coolM353 A head kick counts on any part of the head, including the face, so yes, you can kick the face and get the 3-4 points. But I'm pretty sure the question was about a situation outside the competition. And as a side note, you actully don't see a lot of broke noses in a TKD competition, and when they happen, it's usually cause by an accidental punch or a knee hit on the face.

@Lady Seashell Bikini I do Taekwondo and you are allowed to kick to the face however because of electronic scoring it often doesn’t count unless the referees give it

I'm so glad they did this one! I I did this until I was 13 and we had to move, really makes me wish I had kept up with it. I competed in tournaments but I didn't know it was an Olympic sport. Will definitely be cheering on Paige in Tokyo!
