I no joke threw a egg into the flyfish container once😭 Big run is so stressful, I didn't even notice it wasn't a bomb till I saw it fly back at me

At this point, my teamates in Salmon Run are considered NPC's. Not blueberries, not randoms, NPC's. Had a teamate yesterday who forgot how to throw his eggs and failed because of it....when he was holding the only egg we needed and decided to swim up to the basket instead of throwing it at the basket....we ran out of time, never made it close to the basket, but was perfectly within range to throw it. Had another teammate who wanted to play hero and not go for revives....

Small tip, try luring bosses. Everything can be lured to the basket besides flyfish, stingers and big shots!

One game I only had the Grizzco Blaster. That was also the first time I grillers during Big Run so it helped out a lot. I got to leave during Grillers for 10 seconds, because of a family thing.

somehow I've had a super lucky salmon run experience, I put some of it down to regularly getting the grizzco blaster and a focused team :)) edit: however alot of them we end up barely making it or really pulling it out of the depths of constant reviving lol

Lets hope this does get some attention, however keep in mind for future big runs I have notice the salmonids are slightly stronger then normal, not in terms of health or damage, but numbers. I have notice there is a more of them then usual, watch your back.

In a big run, me and a few friends were in a discord chat, after one of our matches one of them asked me and another my teammates why we died so often. They then said that I got a pass because I got 21 boss kills out of 43 that my team got in total.

It really is like 70% who you're teamed up with determining how well you do. Got a high score of 122 eggs in the first hour cause of the crazy ass players who were in there on opening and I've never hit that number close to again. Closest I got was 111 cause I was playing with people who were keeping up with putting eggs in the basket and saving my hyper aggressive playing dumbass. I just got out of a 4 shift win streak with some players and everything else was a fight to try and get back in eggsecutive VP. if you're reading this Rarth and Jinx. You guys were incredible. Also xiao.ruii for putting 43 eggs in the basket in my second shift when bigrun started I owe my high score to you

I beg of all players to just simply lure, by not moving at the start of a round and using bombs to take out stingers/non-moving targets it gets way easier to get higher quotas

The amount of teammates not throwing bombs at the.. Flyfish? (not sure what the English name is) I just recently got splatoon 3 so I was still on a pretty low level so I didn't have the highest expectations.. But I kept calling them over to finally kill them but they just wouldn't care😭

A common issue with people playing Big Run is not luring bosses, because bosses almost always spawn from the same general area getting too close is a very bad idea so it's better to lure bosses like Maws, Steel Eels, Scrappers, Steelheads, Drizzlers, Flipper Floppers and Slammin' Lids closer to the egg basket for quick and easy egg delivery

I know that random weapons is a core part of salmon run (you know, work assigned weapons and that) but I'm hoping one day there'll be a bring your weapon to work day or event type thing, that'd make the game easier, I know, but think it would be interesting to see what the most popular weapons would be

Here are some things I learned from playing salmon run: 1: Glowflies should go to [Garbage can] 2: Use your specials 3: If you can talk to your teammates, say where you are throwing your bombs at [Satin] (if you don't know what boss I'm referencing I feel sorry for you) 4: It's okay if you loose against the Cohozuna. It has way to much health and the constant wave of bosses make it nearly impossible to get power eggs.

*please* stop running to the gushers at the start of waves! I don't care if you're killing bosses if the eggs never make it back!I'm sitting in advantage snipe spots with my charger let them come close enough so we can do stuff!

The one thing this mode needed was the ability to bring your own weapon (me and my beloved squiffer) as well as your own gear too (like your turf war match suddenly got interrupted by the salmonids when they came early). Though some trolls might come with only Dynamos and Big Swings. Also the lack of urgency from Deep Cut and Splatsville regarding Big Run at Wahoo is very similar to how nonchalant Floridians are when they hear a hurricane is about to hit their state but they are on the other coast from landfall and know they will only get tropical storm force winds at most.
