@@captainsewerrat here in my country I have to ride my 200cc toy wearing casual clothes because gear costs as much as the bike LOL and I'm riding a Husqvarna.
@@diegokoszutskisantamaria6221 A leather jacket costs $50, a pair of cheap riding jeans can go for $30. A pair of gloves for $15. Those alone can save you so much pain and injury. If you can afford a motorbike you can afford gear.
Half of these riders crashing in the corners are letting go of the throttle mid-corner…. Brake before the corner and take the corner with some acceleration I was told…
Slow down to the correct speed for the tightness of the corner before you get there. Stay at that speed until you see the corner exit then start throttling up again.
So many low sides, some of them weren't even going that fast. Caused my braking in a turn? Skid out on loose pavement? Dan dan the fireman is gonna have a field day with these videos.
No bro, when I crash into him I was already on the outside lane, but that doesn’t even matters, if I’m in the roundabout he can’t never get in it, he have always to give the way… But yeah i should went to the other lane a little bit before.
@moreira617 the driver you hit had actually legally entered the roundabout because there were no cars in that lane. Mind you there was an entire lane between you both when the car entered. You have to stay in your lane and yield to others when changing lanes. Just trying to help you understand what happened to keep you safe bro.
All of these could have ended badly but that last one, man, I hope the dude is okay because that could've been his last ride. He could have gone into the guard rail head on, off the embankment into the ravine, over the guard rail into the ravine, all at high speeds. Target fixation is a real thing people, always look where you want the bike to go not where you THINK its heading. Be safe out there y'all
Motor riders should practice it (I mean, learning to look in the direction they want to go in strange situations). I have had standard motor riding lessons here in the Netherlands, it contains evasive manoeuvres as well. I never see these on any of these 'motor' channels. Motor riding should be learned by practice, not by just doing. It makes the road safer for everyone. And no, I never did a wheelie, if my tire got 20 cm above the pavement than that is all, and by accident, and happens rarely but I handle it with easy. The only time my motor hit the pavement was when I did not put it the correct way on its stand (eons ago, my first heavy motor).
@@deslomeslager Its just americans pityful license system. You can drive a automatic car around a block turning 4x right (ignoring signals since thats a thing there)? Heres your license! Wanna ride a liter bike that weights 200kg? Heres your License, go have fun.
That Scotty clip, slow it right down and you can see him use his index finger to apply the brakes and the bike instantly goes down. There's a lesson in that boys and girls.
Same in the IL SIC 58 clip, 3 takedowns by white paint, and a good old target fixation to finish. No wet road ironwork or potholes, which are real problems in my country.
That last clip, damn.... I've never seen a biker wipeout on such a wide corner. What happens in an inexperienced rider's brain that causes something like this to happen on long curve like that?
Going to fast, and using front brake all the way not just a lil bit 🙃 my cousin low sided his ninja 300 in 2 weeks of getting it by using front brake in a turn when I literally told him a week before you need to use the rear brake lol that’s what happens when you put an airhead on a Motorcycle
They need to stop featuring clips with people wheeling in compilations, then hopefully people will rethink doing something stupid for their 10 seconds of fame and stop risking other people's lives
I see a lot of Ninja 400 Clips popping up recently….I have a ninja 400 and I can only assume the people crashing it are beginners or just riding above their skill. (Or a combo of both usually) Not an easy bike to wreck….
Yup done all of that and more, started riding 48yrs ago, I`m 61 and riding a new kTm, don`t know if I`ll see 62 but dam man I love riding and I love Moto Madness😁.
I just don't understand all these riders who won't wear gloves while riding. When you fall off a bike the first reaction is to put your hands out to break your fall and between bare hands and asphalt, asphalt wins!
I really don't understand how are they low siding it... Been riding for nearly 15 years, never had that happen. Are they just going too fast? Braking when it's not needed? I don't get it.
Actually I'm not dumb enough to pop a wheelie on a $300,000 motorcycle and crash it on a highway to impress people that's being something that America is no longer being (smart) popping wheelies and crashing and breaking your self and a expensive sports bike is the most dumbest thing ever not worth getting people to like me
@@general-Lee-700 😂 Relax man , plus we don’t do it to impress anyone. We do it because it’s another way to express ourselves. Those people crashing 30k bikes are what we call squids and they gotta start somewhere dude. 🤷🏽♂️ just sounds like you have yet to find happiness bro . Wish you the best 🫡
Rule #1 never put your front brake on while going around the corner rule number two for GOD sakes remember rule number one! Also have any of you noticed that if you get that little plastic toy propeller spinning thing and put it on your handlebars you will always crash LOL
You can def brake in a corner if you have to you just need to apply gradually and obviously not overwhelm the tire. 100 points of grip bla bla, if you are using 50% grip to corner you can brake up to 50% force. Obviously its better to set your corner speed before you lean the bike over, that gives you the greatest margin of safety if the road surface isnt 100%, or there is a suprise in a blind bend. You can lightly brake while turning and then stand the bike up a bit and brake harder more safely, less risky option.
I’m looking into getting a motorcycle and watching videos as “game footage” if you will. Any advice on how to not end up in these situations? From what I can gather it seems like a lot of them were speed related or braking related, especially on a turn.
Just drive defensively. Don't speed in Traffic and give yourself proper reaction time. Do technical courses and trainings on top of your required training for license. And pack your ego far away.
Read or watch Twist of the Wrist 2, it’s corny as hell but will teach you very good habits for cornering. Fit good rubber to your tyres. Wear good gear. Don’t push any limits on roads you don’t know.
@@Tichondrian Yeah, luckily for me I’m able to put my ego away when it comes to bikes. My friend is trying to convince me to get a 600cc but I feel like I’ll be much more comfortable on a 400cc and learning the basics on it instead. I dont want to risk anything at all when it comes to bikes.
Unpopular opinion: 1) Your first bike shouldn't be more than 300cc 2) Dirt bikes shouldn't be road legal 3) You need a separate licence for over 600cc at at least 2 years of riding experience 4) Motorcycles should have a special key that unlocks the full 1000cc
If these people are pointlessly doing wheelies then they deserve to spill as there's no reason to be doing them al all. Bikes have two wheels for a reason, and it's not to have one pawing in the air doing nothing.
Why do we see less cruiser/Harley style bikes going down, especially in corners? Because that demographic is less likely to record for RU-vid, there’s less of them out there, or because they generally take corners at lower speeds? Or maybe just some combination of those?
Ojo una curva se toma en veloidad vaja y se aselera en la curva para mallor agarre jamas se desaselera en plena curva solo antes de la curva y se aselera entrando en curba
That's what happens when you do something silly, if you rode it properly then that wouldn't have happened! Stay safe when you get back on the bike! Wish you a speedy recovery :)
people say round abouts are better than 4 way stops, these videos shows not really. unless round abouts are bad for motorcyclist, work better for cars?
the standard of riding in these clips is absolutely abysmal and as for riding without boots and gloves everybody before they get on a bike should be shown an ankle bone being worn away on tarmac
It's funny how riders are always rejecting the fault on something else but themselves : "Oh the car didn't use his blinkers, curve was too short, road was bumpy, car was too slow, wheelie started by itself on my bike ..." Just assume and admit that you ride like wieners !
5:20 misses the corner...start panic front brake...abs kicks in...steer completly wrong not using countersteer. A deadly mistake, if he survived then there is a lot to learn from this.
Yeah, this is just full of riders making bad decisions. I've had my share of those and prefer the more old man mentality - slow and easy, avoid all cars as much as possible and don't assume you can handle high speeds until you make certain you can.
So how many of these guys were driving safe and the speed limit and wrecked? 2-3 maybe.. So all the idiots on bikes is what makes the statistics look so terrible for motorcycling
