Today in our ARK Survival Ascended gameplay, we are heading over to Lava Island where I found a Level 130 Giga spawn & we are going to attempt to tame it!

Great job! I was cracking up. Drop a bunch of narco berries in him before you use narcotics. They are a slow release and help a lot to keep the torpor topped off and less expensive. Narcotics are more of a jump than a release. This helps to not have to babysit it so much.

your saber was fast food for the giga. the trap will work its the sides arent far enough open for it to go into the bear trap. great vid as always.

When I tame gigga's I use narco berries to refill the torp when it starts to drop low. They refill much slower and have a lower digestive rate which keeps them asleep longer. Narco buckets and bio toxin refill the torp much quicker. Down side is you have to have the weight to carry a ton of berries lol.

Bemo I remember seeing in the vulcano south west cave, before you get to the artefact part there is a cave yellow drop that sometimes drops saddle bp

Just started watching.. but the Xiphactinus saddle is showing repair requirements as it’s a built saddle. The numbers in the parenthesis is the number of resources in your dedicated storage.

Alright, made it to the end! First try on the giga and getting the saddle. Nice job on that. And yes I think just doing gamma on the non cannon maps is fine. But trying different things on gamma will be fun.

I’d say that it was all a great success 😂 It’s the result that counts after all. The first giga I tamed was done with tranq arrows and a crossbow… let’s say that I am never going to do it that way again 😅

Oh yea that takes a ton of time plus the arrows. I have done one maybe two that way but never again 😄
