Maybe, but for a team that was clearly overmatched, the Knicks hung in there for most of the '99 Finals. Game 4, they couldn't take the lead as they missed free throws after scoring an and-1 to tie the game. Game 5, they couldn't expand on their 5-point lead as they missed shots down the stretch.

I think a fully healthy Lakers team is as good as the top teams in the League like suns, sixers, bucks, celtics, warriors. Most top seeds like Kings and Nugget doesn't look like real title contenders. I wouldn't be surprised if these team gets eliminated in the 1st and 2nd round.

As a Lakers fan seeing a grizzlies team missing 2 of their physical bigs and have Jaren who fouls on an average of 5 times against the lakers. We’re fine. We have locked up Anthony Edwards 3 times in a row as well with our defense. I know you hate the lakers but when the lakers win y’all gonna be complaining that the grizzlies were injured.

It’s not about seeding. This grizzlies team has issues with their interior since adams is out and miss the 1st round. Ad would cook the grizzlies and be a matchup problem also they lack 3pt shooting which has been their weakness. Ur underestimating the lakers Wilson. Not to mention their half court offense

@@tj5180 They had 3 HOF players on those teams. Those Washington teams were underrated. That 1978 team upset the Sixers in the conference finals. The Sixers had like 10 days off bc they swept the 2nd round series. Then bc of rust the Sixers lost game 1 at home and never got that game back. They broke that team up after that with McGinnis & World B Free & Henry Bibby. Doug Collins was always in street clothes. In the finals the Washington team "upset" Seattle. I was a Sonics fan. That's why I remember Washington only winning 44 games. The Sonics had a 3-2 lead and choked game 7 at home

Gotta remember LeBron was on a bum ankle in 21, he wouldn't have been playing if it wasn't the playoffs. As rare as it is, LeBron has done the impossible before, healthy LeBron and AD have as big a chance at a Finals berth as anyone else in this year's West. Grizzlies don't have an answer for LeBron and JJJ can't afford to get in foul trouble or AD will whoop ass uncontested. Jenkins is a far better coach than Darvin Ham however.
