How Old Are the Characters of Dead by Daylight? 

Hey everyone. So, I thought it would be nice to revisit this after over 2 years and a bunch more content in the game (and admittedly my much better understanding of the lore since then). I'll likely be aiming to update all my 'character info' based type videos since they're all quite old now. Let me know if you want this or not!

Gabriel's tome revealed that he is biologically 35 years old but some of his behavior suggests that he could be much younger mentally. Clones like him are given foggy memories of a happy life they never had, and Gabe begins to have an existential crisis when he sees the cracks within his childhood baseball memories. It's horrible to imagine and maybe this is why Gabe whimpers so much when he's injured. He was born in perfect health so the brutality of the Realm must really overwhelm him, like a child skinning their knee for the first time. At least he can discover new things and relationships with the other survivors now, Azhy.

There's a comical number of hyper-focused, hyper-skilled, hyper-established and organised young people in this game, but Skull Merchant's "self-made millionaire by 18 that regularly flips entire companies" still sounds like the backstory of a mary-sue.

I love that Maurice is in this list. That makes it absolutely definitive

We need more revisiting for your older videos, not only it would be more updated, but I really want to see the older vids get redone in a newer way

Maria I believe is the same case as Pyramid Head, as she too is created by James' subconscious, so she should be ageless, especially in the Maria ending for SH2 where it's implied she will die the exact same way Mary did (James' late wife), so I'd doubt she'd even age before dying

I think both Zarina and Yun-Jin are most likely older than your predictions. I'd probably put both of them in their early to late 30s. Both just have more of an established career woman vibe to them and both of them have noticeable wrinkles, especially in the corners of their eyes, both being more characteristic for someone in their 30s and above.

13:21 As Yun-Jin main and a good fan of her lore, I can say that she is older than that. In Mightee One, it probably took a lot longer until they finally recognized her more and allowed her to produce a boyband (a failed one) sound and also meet Ji-Woon (who later became "The Trickster"); The lore says that she worked in the shadows for quite some time producing successful sounds, without receiving any type of credit (so she created her own way of receiving credit, creating an alias "Magnus Opus", an alias with which she would later be recognized) . I'm not saying she's too old either, but going from her arrival in Mightee One at 17 to Trickster's Magnus Opus, I'm pretty sure she's already in her 30s. My main is experienced, mature, serious, selfish, blah blah blah, because she had many years of experience, of course.

Sadako didn't die at 19. She survived for 30 years off of malice in the well while trying to climb out, which is where she lost her finger and toe nails over time from the attempted climbing. I don't blame you tho for not knowing, since google just tells you that she died when she was thrown down the well. Edit: i didn't make it clear, but she died after those 30 years in the well and the body just kinda stays there while her ghost goes around cursing people. Spoiler for the first movie: Until Yoichi's mother get's manipulated by Sadako into thinking that the curse could be broken by laying her dead body to rest. Then Sadako crushes the false sense of security by killing Yoichi's father anyways. She basically gave Yoichi's mother the false sense of security just to torment her, since she wasn't even cursed since like half the movie at that point anymore.

Maria and Pyramid Head would reasonably only be a day or so old due to being created when James enters Silent Hill. Physically/mentally Maria would be about 25, and Pyramid Head is basically a timeless being but when they are taken by the Entity, they'd only been around for the events of Silent Hill 2.

Just gonna say, Ada was taken during RE4 as per her lore. She’d be 30 in DBD

I still need to know how Laurie ended up in the realm. It makes it seem like Meyers ended up in the realm before her because he was taken on Halloween night. It just seems odd that there’s a random gap in time that the entity waited to somehow take her.

as a person who REALLY loves Ace as a character: I’ve spent some time trying to figure out how old is he, but eventually I came to the conclusion that it’s just pointless. I think his age being a mystery fits his character perfectly, and everyone can just assume whatever they think is right :) personally I almost agree with your estimation, but also as for me he looks significantly younger in some skins and older in others, so this also can be an important factor x)

A Revisit is always needed (and appreciated) as updates and the lore are expanded!

I definitely did find it interesting that one of the hux didn't answer Gabe's question on how old he really is. In order to not compromise the mission.

Even more interesting would be for us to learn about the time each character has chronologically spend in the realm because it was said that time functions very awkwardly/weirdly which could even mean that the characters perceive the amount they have spend there differently.

You should make a video on the weird ways you can get blood points like escape with the lament configuration.

I know the Texas Chainsaw lore can be wild with the timelines, but if you go by the movie from last year, there's a newspaper clipping from the year the original TCM took place, stating Bubba was "missing" and unaccounted for, listing his age as 16 years old.

I agree with your opinion about the Trickster being 21-25. I'm a K-pop fan, specifically a fan of Ateez. It is speculated that the Trickster's face was based off of Ateez's leader Hongjoong, and at the time of All-Kill's release Hongjoong was 22.

I believe in the film series, that Sadako actually survived in the well for about 30 years, dying right before the events of the movie

Massive ringu fan here! After Sadako gets pushed down the well, she actually survives for another 30 years before dying! This is explained in the sequel, where the mention that the body has only been dead for 2 years, despite the well being sealed a LONG time ago.

I love the extra characters added in but wouldve loved seeing the alien queen since its age is likely different to the og alien's

Ur Ada take is wrong. She's actually taken during the events of re4 even says so in her lore. So therefore she's 30. Unsure why they gave her the re2 outfit as the default tho lol.

Correction: despite Ada’s appearance clearly being from RE2, her actual lore bio indicates that she’s from RE4, making her a few years older

For some of the characters, I think they're outfits represent various versions of that character at different ages. For instance, Leon having his RPD police clothes but also having his sheepskin jacket from resident evil 4 implying that that version of him was taken from much later

remember school isn't same in every country. I end school at age of 20 (high school). So in my country u can't be younger than 19-20 at your first year at University. And it's different in every country, so u shouldn't count as in USA if someone is from Asia for example.

Susie is actually 15-16 years old its said she's younger than all the other legion members and in one of her outfits she's called a sophomore

I think you should read the bios in dbd a bit more closer. For example you said it's unknown how much time passed after the events of tcm yet in the bio it says right after Sally's escape. In the movie leatherface would be the age Gunnar Hansen was at the time of release (1974). Most of the bios literally say when they are taken during their source material (licenses specifically) and you can just Google to figure out the ages. And I thought the resident evil chapters were based on the game not the film like you said during the nemisis portion. Great video though! You definitely took alot of time to put it together but my opinion is you could have tied it together a bit more.

I’m gonna try and take a couple cracks at some skins with my pretty limited knowledge Look-See: He is theorised to be the child of the family in Season 2 making him no older than ten. I believe it takes place in 1939 as the Great Depression reaches an end making him maybe somewhere in his 80s to 90s Mordeo: likely the same age as Huntress given that these special skins are memories fused with killers, you could assume that the Huntress just straight up became a Mordeo making her the same age as Huntress at 30 Chiron: is a little weird but let’s assume Greek myth followed the same timeline as the real world. Gaia was born 4.6 billion years ago. So Kronos might be maybe 20 when he fathered Chiron (probably less cause it’s Greek myth). So Chiron would be around 20 years younger than the Entity. Minotaur: Wouldn’t be too old. He’d be a year old as Minos makes a plan for it. Then Daedalus builds the labyrinth. After building it, Daedalus and Icarus were imprisoned. Icarus is apparently aged 11-13 making the Minotaur 12-14, maybe.

Well, Trapper was likely born about 1896 and there could've been an earlier strike where he was about 14, in about 1910, he than had a few years of growing up, potentially fought in WW1 (1917-1918) Than came home to the 1919 strike, which would explain why he dealt with the strike so brutally, war, he could also deal with some earlier. The reason I say this is because we know Trapper was taken in about 1931-1936. So, he would've been around 35-40

It would of been cool to say the age of some of the skins who are lore wise separate characters. I wonder how old xeno queen and naughty bear are?

24th video asking ➡️ I'm gonna give up soon. 1) Who from the killers is the most sensible/in touch with reality/in full control of themselves. 2) Ranking survivors' commentary, grunts, screams, etc., on how believable and realistic they sound? Like which are overdone, which are strange, which are so realistic you feel for the survivor, etc.

i'd like to point out that Thalita is probably older than that, as in her first memory in their tome, she's old enough to watch her uncle kite fighting and seems to be older, whereas Renato is described as a baby, still being held by his parents! it's likely she's around 26/27 given the way she acts in that tome entry, assuming Renato is 19/20

Judging by how DBD’s demo moves, he might be alot older than we think, the younger one in season 4 of stranger things was clearly way more hyper whereas season 1’s demo was way less active and quick, the demo we got in dbd moves at an average pace and has 2 methods of mobility (1 being portals which doesnt matter here) his shred takes him a fairly short distance if spammed, and a little further if held down for a moment, this means that the demo in dbd could be several years old, or the entity just really doesnt like demo.

I have a Tier list idea; ranking every Killer by how heavy they are

So unless its no longer canon, Umbrella Chronicles gives us a good idea of how old Nemesis is. In that rail shooter it retold some old stories and introduced new ones as well. When it was released the new stories were canon while retellings were considered non canon levels just for the game. They introduce Sergei Vladimir a former member of the USSR that joins Umbrella sometime after the Soviet Union dissolved. In notes in that game, they state since the T-Virus only converts a small % of people into Tyrants instead of normal zombies they discovered that Sergei's DNA showed he'd turn into a Tyrant if exposed to the T-Virus. Rather than lose him, they just cloned him alot and its implied MOST of the Tyrants we see in the games are clones of him exposed to the T-Virus. While we don't 100% know that Nemesis is a Sergei clone he's the most likely source of the human component. The USSR dissolved in 1991, RE3 took place in 1998 so the literal oldest Nemesis could be is like 7 years old and that's just the max age, he could have been much younger depending on when that clone was created.

For Hunk, he's likely in his mid-late 20s, at least in DBD. Nemesis is, at maximum, two months old. He was created, at least according to the additional information the remakes gave us, as there was very little to go on in the originals, by using a control parasite that they implanted into a tyrant clone. They only did this after the events of the first game, which takes place two months prior to Resident Evil 2 and 3. Also, just want to point out, the movie lore is not the same as the game lore - that was a stupid attempt by the director to make the unthinking, unfeeling, ruthless bioweapon sympathetic. For the Stranger Things characters, they don't HAVE to be 18. You can have underage characters getting killed in a game or movie, so long as it's not too graphic, and even the moris in-game aren't that graphic, so they can still be their accurate ages.

I'd put the legion members a little younger 16/17. Devs said they didn't want to kill children, but not anything about the killers being younger. I think Julie would be closer to Frank but still maybe not 18.

Tbh, most of characters look older in-game than what they are... Except for Slinger and Blight. Blight lost age once he took serum and Slinger looks perfectly for middle-age.
