Yes, but how much better is this than the hundreds of videos where the presenter feels a need to express amazement and excitement, as if the subject needs sensationalising in order to retain our interest? Whenever completing a David Butler video, no matter the outside temperature, as long as the sky is clear, I just go outside with my large binoculars and my 8" telescope, and enjoy the stars. That explains the frostbite, every Winter.

Some astronomy/physics presentations in RU-vid seem too dumbed down as if intended for preschoolers, some are pure hype and obnoxious jargon, intros or bumper music. Even the more academic videos are tedious, filled with math, technical mumbo jumbo or simply unbearably long. Then I came across one of your works and, to my surprise, everything I ever wanted in a science video I found it in yours. From How Small Is It to How Old Is It and every other video you've posted have been a most valuable tool for the understanding of science for a dumb peeson like myself. Thanx so much, David. This is the video I’ve been looking for recently. I’ve wondered how star formation works. But what I don’t understand is how large the first stars have to be to create these gigantic nebulas. Or were many of these large nebulas created by multiple star explosions? For example 30 Doradus is 1000+ light years across, how can a single star explosion create such a massive nebula like this? And wouldn’t it be forming stars very quickly which would just be colliding all over the place and making more of a mess? Space is such a strange place….
What we see around us today are _third generation_ stars. Our Sun is a Population III star--much more heavy element concentration than second-generation stars.

The translation says when it descends (hawa) and not when it dies... Most probably talking about the Sun when it sets and vanishes... Like everything else in the Quran this verse is just what it appears to be; an observation and nothing else... It is as ambiguous as any other verse explaining NOTHING about the nature of the Universe... So for you to bring this up is just stupid... Don't get me started on the scientific errors in the Quran...
