How on earth did neurotypicals evolve?!!

Did you ever wonder why neurotypical people evolved? Cause they clearly were not the majority at one point. Their full sensory awareness would have been a huge liability back in hunter and gatherer times. Scientists have also proven they make less efficient gatherers, starting at one tree till they collect everything, rather than grabbing a bunch and moving on.
How they ever came to be the majority and then entirely cater the world to themselves, i don’t know 😣 would have been nice if they left some more room for the rest of us though.

We're really good at inventing new things, too. I imagine we saved our little groups with innovation as often as they saved us from wild animals or poison berries.

The advantage neurotypicals offer is a larger group size. We are only able to keep a map of around 50 people in our head. What neurotypicals, with their deference to hierarchy, bring to the table: is the ability to bring thousands of people together on a single project.

Yep. Sapiens, by Yuval Noah Harari, goes into that.

Aww but we love our little Neurotypicals with their shallow subject knowledge and their weird big spoons and their being able to move around their house from lack of doom piles and hobby graveyards 🤣 They're so cute

Certain animals evolve successfully due to the protection of others. In other words, NTs thrive because of us

Absolutely! So true! I wish they would allow us to still be in the world they call theirs 😩 at least still have a few jobs where we are needed! Come on, neurotypicals!

I like to see it this way😏 Gosh and I just ❤ Your hair so much! Today it doesn't look just fresh cut/bleached/coloured, but also soft like a blush brush! (Just ordered a coffee grinder, read the manual and then ordered a vegan "barista-brush" as it said "clean inside with a brush" and MAYYYBEEEE I am now a little bit obsessed with textures of soft brushes...🤫🤭)

As an animator that's recently diagnosed with AuDHD, I have a sneaking suspicion that most animators are the same. How else do you explain us being able to draw the same thing for days with only slight changes without losing our minds? So I think neurotypicals also need to thank us for cartoons and their childhoods.

Meanwhile, my ADHD ass in the wild, with a hyposensitive sensory profile, could walk right into a lion's mouth without noticing.
