Bradley Arrowood is a dog trainer for lead national correspondent David Begnaud, but before his career took off, he was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. David sat down with Arrowood who told him how working with dogs helped him receive a second chance, and also with former California Governor Jerry Brown, who played a role in Arrowood's release while seeking a second chance of his own.

So many of us who came out of Lancaster State Prison are blessed with this opportunity to prove our worth. We had to rehabilitate ourselves, but Jerry Brown was the only one who recognized our abilities to be great men of society. I served 28 years to life plus life plus 13 years. I was blessed with an opportunity for a second chance. Thank you for telling our story.

He's right, I should still be in prison, but I'm grateful for the glory that is my God. My crimes were horrible, and I deserved to die for them, but Jesus Chirst died in my place, and now I serve His purpose as a freeman!

No. They released him because he EARNED it. He had to go before a parole board and prove he has not only been rehabilitated but also that he had achieved life skills that would indicate he can be a functioning law abiding member of society. You don't get a unanimous vote for parole from most parole boards unless you've gone above and beyond in your rehabilitation.
