Computer simulations like this one, which aired on CNET 20 years ago, are now commonplace and much more advanced. But back when OJ Simpson was on trial for the Simpson-Goldman murders, this was truly cutting edge.

I think it’s telling of OJ saying Goldman got in a Karate stance... OJ did not know Goldman. But Goldman did learn Karate, So that is an accurate detail of something Goldman most likely would have done. That alone says that OJ was there.
Kim Goldman said her brother never did karate and OJ book came out in 2006 but then it was already 12 years since the murders and there was a lot of rumours of Ron being a black belt doing karate so OJ could have used that information and wrote it in his book how come no one thinks logically
The Reelz channel had just shown: *"O.J. Simpson: Blood, Lies & Murder"* a few days ago. Tom Lange, one of the lead detectives in the O.J. Simpson case, gives his side of the story. Going over evidence, reenactments, etc. I will say that program was shocking! Very, very graphic. They showed full color crime scene and autopsy photos of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman all throughout the program. There were no blurred or censoring of the photos and videos in the show.
Goldman didn't put up any fight according to this illustration.. that's not what the evidence In the trial showed. And they showed Nichole walking right passed assailant without noticing him my opinion not an accurate simulation.
This is so ridiculous. So they got the skull cap but didn't say the fibers belonged to OJ? What are we saying here? He OBVIOUSLY didn't do it, no matter what we say...the cops planted evidence to make him seem like he did it and he STILL got off. He really, really didn't do it!!
The record shows that Nicole had blood under her nails that didn't match OJ's, Ron's or herself. The record also shows that Ron Goldman had teeth marks on his knuckles. That being said, OJ could not have been the killer. This case was about a DA's Office and police didn't department that didn't want to investigate any other possible suspects.

Lynne Johnson That's what I was thinking too.. Lost cap and glove in the struggle. Doesn't make sense that he had to remove his glove to search for the cap. You can pick up an object with gloved hands.. You should be able to tell difference between the ground and an object sitting on the ground. Don't need bare hand for that.
I don’t think he hit Goldman first I think he slammed Nicole’s head into the wall first incapacitating her .. Ron probably instinctively came to her defense was over taken and then he finished Nicole off ....RIP and condolences to the families
Lots missing from this. Ron fought back, which is well documented, there were bruises on his hands, and numerous defensive cuts on his hands and arms, and one on his upper thigh. There were also cuts on Ron's scalp, and smaller cuts on his neck, likely over 30 defensive stab wounds overall, mostly to his left hand and arm. There was also small, crescent like bruising on OJ's arm, as if Ron grabbed him hard with his right hand while trying to defend himself. During the primary attack, of the multiple stab/slashes, one forcefully cut Ron's throat, from front to left side in less of a deliberate cut than Nicole, but in a gaping wound that would prove to be fatal. Analysis of blood volume and direction indicate Ron started to fall or bend over from this, and was then administered the deep cuts to his torso in rapid succession. After he likely collapsed, OJ also poked Ron in the right cheek five times, likely to insure he was dead. It's possible after one or two of these pokes, one or more of the deep body stabs took place. This evidence proves that Ron wasn't attacked, then fell where he was. He was "discarded" there by OJ. During that time, OJ transferred Nicole's hair to Ron's shirt in the process. With Nicole, there was bruising on her back in the shape of a large foot, implying that after she was down, OJ stepped on her back, and likely pulled her hair, which transferred to his glove, before killing her. The blood supports this. The footprints also support this. This is just ghastly stuff, I realize that, but these facts have been known since soon after the autopsy, which is now public, and would have been available to anyone involved in the trial, including I would presume the people who made this animation.
How do you think Ron got through the gate? Do you think they fought on the tile walkway? It sure looks like it. Perhaps out even towards the public sidewalk, out in the open. Curious what you think.
I think that right when she opened the gate OJ hit her with the butt of the knife knocking her out. At that time Ron says “Hey! Hey!” to OJ that’s when he attracts Ron. Ron had cuts on his hands from trying to parry the knife. But unfortunately OJ over powered Ron and I think the cuts on his cheek was OJ toying with Ron when he has him from behind. I think that’s when Ron made a attempt to grab OJs hand around his waist ripping off the left glove (OJ is right hand dominate/ knife hand) and that’s when he either gave him the cut in the liver or neck. RIP to both victims and the sad thing is we’ll never know what went down…
pretty good overall, just couple of things... 1) front gate was open when bodies discovered 2) autopsy showed Goldman put up a huge fight with Simpson, not really shown in the simulation. Only Simpson knows, but one theory is Goldman came up to the condo while Simpson and Nicole were already outside at the front door. Nicole came down to let Goldman in, and the juice blew a gasket, assuming they were getting together for an intimate night.

He defended himself best he could against a knife held by a bigger guy (think Goldman was only about 5'9, 170 lbs) the video showed no resistance at all. OJ was in a blind rage, Goldman had no chance, and no space to even get a bit of distance. What a brutal way to go...
Its so scary to see oj just jump out of nowhere. So he must have went through the back if the condo to hide on the patio . I just saw a reporter say that the reason oj went there was bc he always would stalk nicole & that night she was there with his protege Marcus allen. He went home got dressed in black & went to kill them. That's why the candles were all lit. When he got there he saw marcus had left & then suddenly rin showed up so he hid. Once goldman got in through the gate & nicole was outside he went ballistic. Scary to think he was so enraged he slit her throat all the way to knocking her spinal chord. I truly believe oj thinks he didnt do this bc he had a rage black out. He really may not remember the details of the killings but knows he did it from all the blood & dead bodies. Why wasnt the hair in the cap brought up ? Or slam dunked the case bc obviously theirs no way the cops ripped ojs hair out of his head & put it in the cap. Did they not have dna for hair yet bc I do remember them saying an african American 's hair was in the cap but dont remember them saying it was ojs due to a dna test. Now they can get dna from skin flecks saliva hair & blood.

One yelled "Hey! Hey! Hey!" Heidstra said. The other male voiced shouted back, but Heidstra said he could not make out what the other voice was saying because Nicole Brown Simpson's Akita dog was barking hysterically. "Then I heard a gate slam, bang!" he said.

She ate there regularly, her and the manager called it quits a few months previously due to OJ threatening both of them even though himself and Nicole were spilt up over a year and a half. Ron was a friend of hers and was genuinely just dropping her mum's glasses off as his apartment was about ten minutes from her place.

Even in just computer images, its so brutal and savage and the fact that he went back to Nicole to finish, when she was already down, points directly to this being about her, not Ron and very personal.

What evidence a few specks of blood with edta blood preservative. That bloody murder and those couple specks while they carried ojs blood sample at the crime scene for 3 hours. So much evidence.
He did get caught. He was arrested , jailed and tried in criminal court of law facing a mountain of damning evidence. That jury refused to convict him - no matter what.
@@Chad_Max I have said this so many times. He was lucky in how DNA was brand new, and OJs case was the first well known case that DNA was introduced in. The Rodney King saga. His ability to afford so many lawyers who specialised in every aspect of the prosecution's evidence and each one cross examined people according to their specialty. The LAPD mistakes with blood and evidence. The coroner's mistakes. The lack of CCTV. The judge being useless. The race factor. The prosecution's mistakes ie: the glove. It all come together at the perfect time, in the perfect place. If OJ were to be tried now he would have zero chance of being found not guilty.
We were told that Ron Goldman came to Nicole's house to return her sunglasses yet those sunglasses were not in a simulation. Also we were not shown in the video how Mister Simpson hid behind that wall when Nicole walked right by him to open the gate for Ron Goldman. Also in the simulation OJ Simpson does not have the Hat on at all in the simulation. Even this simulation leaves a lot of doubt and holes in the story.
1broundtree It’s not surprising the simulation didn’t show every detail but I don’t believe OJ was hiding. I think Nic was already at the gate when he came up from behind her but I don’t believe he was hiding there when he couldn’t have known Nic was going to walk out her front door.

i had a very abusive ex boyfriend and i even got pregnant and nearly died... anyway i had a few fantasies of killing my ex i even told my therapist and she said anger and rage is normal but the difference is not to actually go out and do it! doing it is way different than thinking about it. I just wanted my ex to hurt like i did. i got over it.. someone said (oh joe rogan on his podcast) that CT from football can cause major rage issues which o.j. did have.. they said if the trial went on today the doctor of his would introduce this as a possible reason. we know he flew into rages and broke things and hit Nicole but also he'd scream forever and talk to himself. the man is unstable and a narcissist
I believe a witness walking his dog nearby said he thought he heard two men arguing briefly but loud at the time of the murder. It's possible there wasn't much yelling especially if she was knocked out quick.
After the murder, OJ ran away in a white Bronco with a friend while being chased by the police. He said that he was going to commit suicide. He automatically assumed that police thought it was him and he did not want to live anymore. But once he found out that he was only a suspect wanted for questioning, he knew he had a chance by swearing he was not guilty. If the police had played a trick on him and told him that Nicole survived, he would've had to plead guilty and that would have been his "gotcha" moment. I've seen police trick people before in order to get a confession but the police had lost its credibility from all its mistakes. All of Simpson's attorneys knew he was guilty. They have all but one said it in their interviews. Although Jhonny Cochran passed away, I'm sure he would have felt the same way. Seeing this animation, broke my heart for the Goldman's. Now I understand how they feel. Ron was so young, innocent of OJ's madness. He was a very nice guy trying to make it to the top. Ironic that he got to the top(of heaven) although not in the manner he would have wanted. RIP Ron and Nicole.

Few problems here, though I’m not disputing wound evidence. A) this depiction lacks the evidence that OJ struggled with Goldman , probably resulting in OJ losing the glove and knit cap in the tussle , and sustaining the infamous cut to his finger in this process. B) Nicole had a sizable lone knife laying on the kitchen counter not far from the door. Why ? Important note : it’s been alleged that OJ confessed to AC, and stated “if Nicole didn’t come to the door with that knife , she’d still be alive today”. If this is true , the animation sequences and details are off.

If there was hairs found in the skull cap and they know it was the assailants hairs, why havent they tested them for dna and put all speculation to rest?

i doubt both victims were attacked at the same time , more likely goldman walked in moments after nicole was slain . O.J was probably getting ready to leave when he saw goldman walking up the footpath and he ambushed him when he went to check on nicole .

This Theory doesn’t explain all of the defensive wounds on Goldman. This animation shows no struggle between both males, where the physical evidence (Defensive wounds) shows there was more of a struggle. I don’t buy it.
Chanson Peevy, Goldman had knife wounds on the bottom of his foot. It is said that Simpson told someone in a drunken stupor that they both were inside the house when he showed up and OJ was inside the house. He said the fight led out side.
OJ went there to slash her tires and scrape up the side of her car. That's why he had the gloves and mask. We know this because months earlier because she sued OJ in Civil Court over doing this, and he went back to do it again.

This animation doesn't show anything taking place on the main walk, between the gate and public sidewalk. The blood evidence proves this is where most of the Goldman confrontation took place. Goldman was heaved into the corner afterward, out of public sight.
Yes. I think that is where at least some of the fight went down. Also, nobody really seems to have a good answer about how Goldman got in the gate? Maybe OJ killed Nicole, heard Ron buzz to be let in, opened the gate himself and went after him? And maybe Ron tried to bolt out of there but didn't succeed. Many people just flat out run when confronted with serious threats to their lives. Maybe that's how they got out toward the sidewalk. Another commenter here used forensics to show that Ron was dumped in that corner and didn't necessarily get killed there. Thoughts, anyone?
I think Nicole and Ron were having a conversation or was just walking in when OJ surprised them from the bushes or wherever he was hiding. They probably had words so he knocked Nicole out first and then got into a fight with Ron before he started stabbing and killing him. Apparently someone said they heard a man say Hey Hey Hey. Could have been Ron. He put up quite a fight. Even being a black belt unfortunately couldn't help because OJ was just bigger and had the advantage of being on top of the steps. Ugh. Sick.

Based on the evidence, I always believed that Oj and Nicole were fighting when Ron walked up, Oj knocked Nicole unconcious, Ron cradled her (her hair was found on him) and then he tried to fight off Oj, Oj killed Ron & then went back to Nicole and almost decapitated her.

As a kid I always wondered how O.J. getting off caused such a vitriolic reaction. After seeing the crime as an adult I get it. I've really only known O.J as the now old man, but he wasn't a feeble old man in '94. He was a very strong , and well loved celebrity. Stabbing deaths are particularly brutal, and personal. Nicole didn't even see it coming. Ron was just returning some glasses, it was just a short trip for him. At 25 he had his whole life, but that was stolen because of somebody's rage. Time draws near for Mr. Simpson. I surely hope he has asked forgiveness for this ,because his ultimate judgement won't be decided by us. For those who think he's innocent, I would like an explaination as to who else would have done it. I don't buy the story of his son.
unfortunately we'll never get an honest list of suspects since the LAPD honed in on one person before there was any evidence then refused to investigate into anyone else after their embarrassingly bad case against him got unanimously thrown out by a jury in under 4 hours. there are a lot of innocent people who get locked up because "who else could have done it? there are no other suspects" the police control the public's list of suspects.

No, OJ was there first and saw Ron walk up. There was a verbal altercation in which Nicole came quickly from her condo. She was yelling at OJ and OJ hit her. Ron got into the karate stance and all hell broke loose. OJ killed Ron first then went over to Nicole and killed her.
Ricardo Lozano That was a theory based on the depth of the wounds which were all 3 1/2 -4 inches except for the wound to Rons abdomen(compression wound). You stab someone in an area where there are bones, the knife will only go so far, but if you stab in the stomach area the knife will go in further because you’re pushing the abdomen in.
i always thought that maybe o j murdered nicole first and as he was leaving he ran into ronald and so he had to kill a potential witness but this clears things up for me now
Totally plausible. He wouldn't have known that Goldman was coming over with Mrs. Brown's glasses! He went there just to kill her. He had already bitched to Kato when they went to get McDonald's that Nicole was wearing tight clothes at the recital, and later she told him he was not invited to the post-recital dinner. The more she moved on, the more insane he got. Goldman was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
these type of things should be just as inadmissible as a lie detector test in a court room. There's too many variables and it's mostly theoretical. Yet once a jury seebs a visual aid of the crime like this, it can't be unseen. Scuff science.

The DNA evidence that matched OJ's was one in a million...the blood in the Bronco that had all three of their blood was one in 68 BILLION, 10x the population of earth. The mostly black jury acquitted him in retribution for the Rodney King beatings, despite OJ being about as white as a black man could be.

This recreation makes no sense because... one suspect could not instantly knock out two people at the same time without one of the victims screaming. it is impossible. No one in the neighborhood heard anyone scream that night. So, either it was two killers attacking each person at the same time or the victims were attacked one at a time. Meaning that after Nicole let Goldman in she had her back to Goldman going up the stairs and that is where probably he was stabbed in the throat. That would explain why he did not scream. At that point, Nicole turns around in the dark and starts asking Goldman if he is alright by bending over to assist him. That is when she is attacked. That scenario makes more sense than a simultaneous double punch.
I agree with most of it however maybe OJ had already started on Nicole when Ron showed up because remember Ron yelled "hey hey hey". Also I feel its more likely that ron ripped the glove off of OJ's left hand while struggling to break free from OJ/s grip, (vs oj taking it off to feel for the cap) as the glove at bundy was the left glove and oj had numerous cuts and gouges on his left hand.
Yes I heard someone testified they heard "Hey,...........hey, hey." Family members testified that was a common "expression" of Ron's. I think Ron got there as OJ was starting to beat Nicole up.
I believe Nicole came out to unlock the gate for Ron since the intercom to unlock it was broken, she needed to unlock it by hand. Simpson was already spying on, coming in from the back gate. Given their history, he knew she wouldn't let him in or would call 911 (like in the past). But I am not sure she came out because Goldman was actually there and called the intercom. Since it was broken, she unlocked it because Goldman would be arriving any minute. Then when Goldman did arrive, she could tell him over the intercom to come in, the gate was unlocked. Or maybe she told him to just come to the door and not use the intercom. This is probably where the first part of the animation is correct, OJ came from the patio and knocked Nicole unconscious. But Goldman was not present, it is why OJ was able to kill two people at the same time. Goldman arrived shortly after and either rang the intercom or just opened the gate. Evidence shows Goldman had 25 of Browns hairs on the chest of his shirt. Meaning he probably saw Nicole on the ground and cradled her head to see what happened. Remember it is very dark. I believe OJ hid in the tree area. He grabbed Goldman, who didn't see OJ hiding and yelled 'hey, hey, hey', caught by surprise. Simpson pulled Goldman towards the tree, Goldman was holding the sunglasses and his keys which he immediately dropped to try and break the hold. Simpson got him in a choke hold and stabbed him. Goldman was flailing and managed to get a hold of Simpsons cap and yanked it off his head. Also, the ring they found may have cut OJ on his left hand. Simpson cut Goldman's left jugular and a stab to his abdomen killed Goldman within a few minutes. Goldman was thrown down against the fence. To make sure he was dead, Simpson stabbed him in the left thigh and face. Goldman being down, Simpson went back to Nicole and put his foot on her back and slit her throat, nearly decapitating her. Since they found no blood in her lungs and she bled out on the ground, she most likely never made it to her back during the altercation. Now I don't think Simpson took off his glove to feel for his cap. I think he took it off because his finger was cut (by the knife (most likely) or Goldman's ring) and he wanted to look at it and was in pain. He took the left glove off with the right glove still on, which got some of his own blood on the right glove. He dropped the left glove to the ground. The dog was barking and howling (probably in front of the condo), having walked over Browns body and in her blood, dirtying the bottom of the dog. Simpson figured someone might come so he forgot about the glove and walked away, leaving his footprints leading towards the back gate and Bronco. There was also blood spatter from his bleeding left hand. I believe Simpson was wearing a sweatsuit and took it off, putting it in a bag before entering the Bronco. Plus this is 1994, DNA evidence was not as wide known as it is today. Maybe he figured they would need a ton of blood to catch him. In any event, he transferred all parties blood into the Bronco from the glove. When he got home, he parked the Bronco on the sidewalk and hopped over the wall to his house, throwing the bag over containing the knife and bloody clothes and shoes. He had to sneak around Katelins bungalowe to get in the back to avoid detection. However, it is dark and Simpson accidently hits the AC unit, startling Katelin. Simpson realizes Kato might come to investigate, so he takes off the right glove and tosses it to the ground, knowing it would look weird to only be wearing one glove. The glove gets more of the victims blood (Brown) on Simpsons hands, which he eventually transfers to his socks when he takes them off. Realizing he has to disarm the alarm from the front, he emerges from behind the house and is spotted by Park, the limo driver. He enters the house and tells Park over the intercom he will be right out and that he overslept.

He made sure before he went to Nicoles that he set up alibis for himself (going to McDonald's with Kato and his trip to Chicago) He also made sure before he left his house to fully disguise himself in a hate and dark clothes, also made sure to wear gloves so he did not leave fingerprints. He took a knife along with him too. He absolutely went to Nicoles house to kill her

Ron and Nicole hugged at one point ron had blonde hairs on his shirt he put up a good fight he had brushes on his knuckles this film doesn’t even show ron fighting the assaliant it’s hardly unlikely oj could have knocked both of them out cold that fast especially being that dark one punch wouldn’t knock him to the ground
It's just one visual. It lacks the nuance of conversation, or a developing situation if OJ was there with Nicole first and Goldman came into the middle of it. Kinda creepy though.
Couldn't have happened this way. The only ear shot witness heard Goldman yelling "Hey, hey, hey!" and someone yelling back to him muffled. So, clearly he couldn't have been knocked out immediately as the graphic shows. He would have had to be attacked second....
Assuming it was Goldman who uttered the "Hey, hey, hey" ofcourse. That is not known for sure. But immediately afterward the clanking of a gate was heard. With that and finding the entrance gate in the wide open position, I would have to agree with you.
two flaws in this simulation. 1) Ron Godman has significant bruising on his hands meaning he was battling/hitting the attacker (or attackers) 2) OJ sustains a cut on his left hand. However there is no cut on left glove left at scene so it is likely OJ lost the glove during the battle with Godman and sustained cut after glove came on.
That’s wrong. Ron would’ve had time to react because OJ even stated that he got into a karate position. And in this simulation we don’t see that. Your simulation is inaccurate
A very professional rendition. Although knowing how these killings were carried out does nothing to mitigate the horror for both of the families. Never was convinced of O.J.'s innocence and neither was the Goldman family. I wonder why O.J. got away with this? What did he have over someone?.....Not sure how O.J.'s family sleeps at night....not sure if they care about the carnage he committed in a jealous rage.

On the EDTA, it was NEVER proven that EDTA was found , only traces of it, Which literally could have come from the laundry detergent used to wash the socks. How did he get in that area in the first place without anyone noticing? Plus I thought Mr Goldman fought back. Also, using a knife as a fork to pick someone up isn't that easy to do
@@itsharryhagen no proof the bruises hit a person... remember the gate was right behind both of them? and he could have hit the knife instead of the killer...o.j. was lucky he hit ron so hard that first time and cut him so he was weakened and wounded but he did fight back

This is inaccurate. Nicole had self defense cuts on the palms of her hands. So how can that happen if she was attacked from behind and quickly knocked out?? She was attacked from the front .
What utter crap = Goldman had bruising and cuts on his fists and stab wounds on his legs ... Karate was done in this fight - Goldman was a BB Karate enthusiast .... please explain all the bruises on Goldman's hands and legs ...
If I remember correctly the autopsy report stated that Ron Goldman did fight the killer, oj. The type of wounds that Goldman sustained were the wounds found in a mutual combat kind of fight. It has been years since I read the report but if anyone doubts that Ron fought oj you can read the report online
@naitethagr8 o.j. had CT and rage issues..also football reflexes and i'm pretty sure he has hunted before. It wouldn't take much for element of surprise to jump out and hit nicole and cut Ron... bleeding from the neck a fatal wound would have severe weakness in the victim...bruises on knuckles does not mean they were from hitting a human body or human face.. the gate was right behind both of them where Ron laid dead... the knife was big and heavy ron could have punched and missed o.j. and hit the gate or knife... and we all know adrenaline gives us more strength and affects reflexes. o.j. had the advantage he scared and surprised both of them although i think nicole was already bleeding when ron came through the gate i think right then and there from total shock o.j. hit him hard (o.j. is fricking huge he was not a grandpa) doesn't even matter if u are young, old, strong, once u are cut in an artery u bleed out very fast (seconds actually)
This is good. My only thing is OJ was out of shape with bad knees and Goldman is slightly bigger than OJ with martial arts training. What this describes is some special forces stuff to take out 2 people at once. I think OJ already killed or knocked out Nicole. Then Goldman shows up.
It's funny you bought up special forces. My Uncle's friend is a Navy Seal and he had told my Uncle there is no way on earth that OJ did this by himself. 2 people killed that way back to back. He's convinced the only possible way OJ could had done it by himself is if he had years of professional combat training and experienced killing people with a knife before. His other Navy Seal buddies also agreed with him.
The killer is Jason Simpson. There's no way oj did it. Jason has hand to hand combat training, rage issues, and was on probation for ATTACKING his boss with a knife... Let's be reasonable here. It was his son
Hell no. OJ's escalating rage toward Nicole was behind the murder. The crime scene was gruesome and bloody, Ron Goldman was almost decapitated. It was obviously a crime of rage. Jason SImpson had no real motive and certainly not a motive that would make him act that brutally.
This reenactment is crap. What about Ron's defense wounds on his knuckles and shoes where he punched and kicked the assailant? It was stated in the courts that Ron put up a considerable fight and none of this was even included in this animation.
