Do coincidences really happen in One Piece? I don't think so. If they never anchored on Little Garden, God Usopp wouldn't have recruited the giants in Enies Lobby, Nami wouldn't have gotten sick, so no Chopper, and they wouldn't have helped Luffy escape the Gorosei. Maybe this was all divine intervention from Luffy without him realizing it.

I'm loving this analysis. Also it's great to see a summary of everything we 'know' that has happened around the topic of Giants. I wouldn't blame Dorry & Brogy on the butterfly effect. The "bad people" involved are fully responsible of what happened. The giant duo were stubborn, but they didn't hurt anyone, blaming them would be wrong.
Seriously, this is genuinely a great video. It never really occurred to me how much story is in the subtext of Dorry and Broggy's meeting with the Straw Hats. Its amazing!

@@heathwolfe684 yeah, it is unnecessary plot twist that the base for requested giantification were not actual giants but big mom whoe made the request. Itvjust popped in my head because of the side effect where children were rampaging and screaming "wedding candy"

Awesome video but one thing that was misinterpreted was was that Dorry and Broggy were not dedicating the battle to the sun god but to the God of War. They never mention the sun god in little Garden it’s just one of the many gods of Elbaf.
You know, with all their Sun God talk in the latest chapters, I'd forgotten about that! But since it seems that they do, in fact worship Nika, maybe they are both the Sun God AND God of War! They are the "Warrior of Liberation", after all!!
Alternatively, it's possible that Nika just holds different significance to different cultures. Like, if he's both a warrior god and a sun god, it makes sense that a society that values combat as much of the giants could either discard or even forget his connection to the sun. Meanwhile cultures like the Fishmen that desire freedom and to live on the surface could end up remembering the sun aspect and losing the warrior one. He is a god of the sun, of warriors, of joy, and of freedom, so it's not too far fetched that a culture that values one of those things more than the others would latch onto the one that means the most to them.

Your thinking to far into luffy's fruit. Joyboy didn't plan for them to fight for 100 years. They just did because they are free to do so. Luffy's fruit leaks out a bit of his awakened form as he exists. This is why weird things happen around luffy and to people around luffy.

Your analysis doesn't take into account Luffy having a wanted poster where he is revealed as Nika. The Giants could just as easily be going to the Strawhats aid for that reason alone.
Honestly, Oda's introduction of Olin just made me sad for when Law finally defeats her. Like, I genuinely didn't want to see her die. I would have preferred Shinobu aging her to the point of just being a frail grandma.
Dorry and Brogy didn't get a power boost. This is powerscaler propaganda. Dorry and Brogy said 'only the serpent soaked in blood can resist our attack', and then they destroyed an island sized fish. Insane attack power. Zoro could not cut the wax. Meaning that the wax was as hard as steel. Brogy snapped a chunk of that wax the size of an elephant by flexing his wrist. Nobody breaks steel without haki. Nobody except giants. Well, unless they poison the wax first... ? The reason Luffy beat Hajrudin so easily is that giants don't have haki hardening. The reason for this is unknown but I'd say it has something to do with their belief in predestiny. That everything will happen as God intends. It sort of takes the individual's will out of the equation. Interestingly, it is only after Brogy questions his fate, that he is then able to break the wax.
Well also Hajrudin was just arrogant; its stated as a flaw in his vivre card and alluded to in Dressrosa, and his victory against Machvise is a restoration of his pride for much deeper purposes as his gratitude is worth more, as he proclaims; now all that's left is for Dorry and Brogy to possibly die or be hobbled to make way for Hajrudins ascent/shared character arc with Usopp beneath the god veneer. Or at least that's been my hope.
