Whether or not weapons in Tarkov are good or bad is determined by several factors. One being what their magazine capacity is. If they have higher mag sizes, then the weapon will perform better. And in the case of .308, with the exception of the FAL, most popular rifles had a hard limit of 20 rounds. That is, until the SIG Spear was added. And with it, came a new 25-round mag. Now, 5 rounds doesn't sound like a big deal. But in the case of .308, the caliber that is one of the more consistent ones in the game, with ammos having upwards of 70 penetration, and a weapon that can also go full-auto. Yeah, you can start to see this being a big deal. So, let's talk about how big of a deal it actually is.
