I wrap masking tape around it and then mark it so I don't mark up my square. But yes a mark makes all the difference in being faster

@@deVeaux3962 Aligned with nothing. You are just starting your layout at a random place, near the end of the board, leaving enough to make your finished bottom or top cut, depending on if you start your layout from the top/down or bottom/up.
