I love how transparent you are with how Jaydn handles her finances!! although she does have a prominent platform on TikTok and through you as her parents, you still ground her in the importance of finance, which is very important. I love how you instill the values you both had as kids to Jaydn so she understands that money is a finite resource.

I bought a triplex (three unit house) at 18 years old because my parents taught me how to use my money wisely. I rent out two units and live in the other one for free. I’m living for free and making a decent profit, which has set up an amazing foundation for my future. I recommend to everyone who has a large chunk of money just sitting, to start investing in real estate. If I can do it while in high school, you can too!

wow she is so responsible, ive never heard a 14 year old say "no i want to buy my own first car" like yes go parents!! i wish my parents were like this with me. i just asked for money when i needed it and it was handed to me. i worked part time through high school and college and that all was "spending money" i never learned to concept of saving and now im in debt from credit cards and regret it so so much.

My mom didn’t ever give me a monthly allowance either and I won’t with my kids either when I’m older. Like you said kids shouldn’t get money just for waking up. The one thing I did get though was an allowance for my dads work. He had become the boss at his work and once he did he really wanted to clean a lot. So we cleaned up a lot and I got money. But it was pretty good work and we were working from 1-2 hours so
