Just started my leg sleeve last night. Got the outter part of the lower leg done. Pain had its moments for sure. Overall manageable. Agree with 3/5 . Although I had a couple weird twitchy spots but worst pain was trying to be still and sit kinda awkward for 8.5 hours.

Bloodrush to the lower leg while healing is no joke. Caught me off guard the first time i felt that blood surging down and not being able to put any weight on my foot for a couple minutes every time I tried to stand. Sucks every session😂

The spicy areas are most definitely spicy, but sitting for the easy areas is definitely the worst! The butt cheeks don't lie! I only have an ankle tattoo as far as the legs go; I actually forget I have it most of the time which is bummer to me; it's a LEGO brick (a huge LEGO fan and collector) that says "Life is pain." Back to pain level; you were spot on with the arm tattoo spicy areas. The inner bicep sucked, the elbow sucked, the elbow ditch/crease sucked. I feel like we have similar pain levels and your videos have infinitely helped me prepare for some gnarly pain. I love your videos; they have helped me in sooo many ways; from choosing the right artist, after care, pain, and so on. Thanks for everything Mike!

I've only gotten one so far (on my forearm), but it was so NOT painful that I already have two more booked to start my sleeve. I'm definitely concerned about the more spicy areas, but at least I broke the ice and I'm willing to go for it now. Doing a full Lord of the Rings Gondor theme for my first sleeve!

Leg sleeve looks extremely well done!! So much nice detail, great contrast, and the shading is super uniform throughout. I just got my whole lower leg done, mostly the outer, and I actually thought the front of the shin hurt a lot because it was right up against the bone. Also the knee ditch was a strange place to feel a tattoo haha. I feel like the other annoying thing about a healing leg tattoo is just putting in pants super super carefully lol.

It's crazy how people's pain tolerance's are so different. My calf tattoo was not bad at all (2/5) except the area close to the knee ditch. I did plan to get a front/outer thigh tattoo but hearing about your pain experience is scaring me a bit lol. Anyway, awesome content as always.

Very interesting hearing other people's perspective. I've got a full leg sleeve as well. By far the worst spot for me was the ditch of my know it my foot. My kneecap wasn't too bad and by shin felt like nothing at all. Great video!

It’s always so interesting listening to peoples pain experience in different areas, my knee caps I was sweating bullets before I got them done, my kneecaps were my least painful spots on my legs, I thought the ankle area and feet were a 5 on your scale and my knees were a 1, granted you definitely have more solid knee coverage but I swear mine really didn’t hurt lol.

I have a leg sleeve from below my left knee to the ankle that we spent about 24-26 hours over.18 months. I was told to expect some fun coming off the shin bone onto the soft tissue but it was a 2-3. But just below the back of my knee and I got almost an electric shock. Weird little random spots I couldn’t watch being done, not lines or broad coloring. If I can watch my ink going in I know how long that like takes or how long they may do shading before they fill the needles again. The “discomfort” becomes finite and manageable with attention and intension.

I have both lower legs tattooed so far (though looking at inhancing these) and my least favorite places was the side and back of the knee. Though the anckle was fun as scar tissue made for an interesting time. Your leg peice looks amazing.

Hey man. Love your channel! Very very informative. Love you! I have two tattoos at the moment. I have three dog paws in memory of my dogs, Izzy, Elliott and Teddy. And my other tattoo is a lightbulb, inside is a blue jigsaw puzzle and then colours cracking out of the bulb. It's a metaphor representing my autism. The bulb is my brain, the international symbol for autism is a puzzle so the puzzle is my brain and then the colours are my colourful thoughts cracking out my head

It’s measured in DOL, the thigh is 8 DOL and the inner thigh is 14 DOL and the back is 22 DOL and the cheek is only 15 DOL (for example a bee sting is 12 DOL) a knee tattoo is 31 DOL which is almost as bad as a taser (a taser is 32 DOL and that’s like getting stung by bees in the inappropriate areas of the body that have loads of nerves) and a shot is 5 DOL and a piercing is 4 DOL. The calf tattoo is 17 DOL

important question ! i am from india and here most of the tattoo artists recommend to use coconut oil only and strictly tells to avoid water even in shower. that means u cant wash it till its healed. Now i have watched lots of ur videos u haven’t told to use coconut oil and frequently told to wash every day to avoid infection so now what should i do ?

Just got 3 full days done on my full leg. Mostly solid black, Japanese art. I have already full sleeve, shoulder, chest, armpit, full side, ankle, foot, and toes inked. Your leg is ABSOLUTELY horrific, healing. I had no idea how bad it would be. The swelling and inability to do anything is fucking awful. I'm on day 3 since my last session, and I just want to die. Even if you've got a lot of ink, your leg healing is nothing like the rest of it. Be warned.

Seeing this pain rating it’s pretty much on par with his I felt, the only difference for me would be the knee ditch. That area hurt me so bad, plus walking was a pain after too, just uncomfortable.

My tattoos on my arm were a piece of cake compared to my leg. The calf is the worse. I could somewhat tune out the pain on my shin. But getting my calf tattooed felt like he was scraping a blade across my skin.

My sister got her whole hip and thigh down to her knee done and she said not only did it not hurt, but they had to take breaks because it tickled so much. She says her worst pain was her inner forearm, which I'd give a solid 1/10. lol.

Legs suck. I have both outter ankles done, one inside ankle, thigh and one under my knee. The ankles were the worst. Under my knee was surprisingly better then I expected. My legs are super twitchy though. I was so embarrassed because when my artist did under my knee my leg literally jumped. No pain but my nerve ending had enough lol

Great walk-through. Love all the tats. I'm wrapping up a full sleeve on my right leg including the butt-cheek tied into my backpiece and by far the worst areas were the back of the knee, especially the sides where the tendons are(faaaaack), and where the leg meets the butt-cheek. That little skin wrinkle spot, holllllly that was brutal. Ankle area was pretty tender too. Agreed on the upper leg areas, not nearly as bad as I would have thought, minus the upper back. Surprisingly I didn't find the knee cap area that bad. More just kinda awkward as the cap moved around, but not so much needle pain. Was expecting much worse. I have about 8-10 hours to go and as excited as I am to fill more empty real estate I feel like I need to chill for a bit. Lol!!🤣🤣

@@josiahharrell3257just got my whole back calf done with plans to fill the front in eventually and tbh the overall pain especially on the outer calf and ankle got me like idkkk of I can fill the front in man 😂 hurt like a bitch. And mines deff still a little sore in some spots amd flaking peeling and itching like crazy now, also still som bruising, the artist was pretty heavy handed and there was alot of color packing and some ares got gone over 3-4 times so by the end it was like fire every time the needle touched me.

My quarter leg covering my whole calf hurt like a bitch. We did lines then shading then coloring, when coloring we started with alot of the ares on the outer calf and oh boy. Everything after shading and coloring the outer cakf was pure fire. The center of the back of my calf was fire. My anie deff hurt AlOT and my ditch was pretty bad but probably actually hurt the least, definitely hurt a good bit but not like rhe rest lol. Alot of heavy color packing in this tattoo as most of the detail is shading and coloring. Sick japenese geisha piece though. So peely and itchy rn lol. Lucky enough I only needed to fart once and managed to hold it till we took a break 😂 8 hours and a half
