The most under appreciated fact is that the songs are genuinely good, even without the context from the show. And they made songs for multiple genres.

The writers choosing not to dumb down the writing is why I was able to still watch this show with my younger brother even tho I was in high school and he was still in elementary school.

The only episode that didn't have a song was the pilot, so they later remade that episode as a 22 minute musical. I love this show.

I downright died when Doof was hit with an ugly-a-nator and his face stayed the same, I’m 19 and it still gets me

Remember when they did an episode where they raced planets and Buford called it Uranos instead of Uranus and when Balgeet said he was saying it wrong he replied with “that’s how we say it in this channel.” That still gets me

The smartest thing that the show did was also quitting while ahead and actually successfully wrapping up most of the character arcs.

I loved the show as a kid because it didn't force "lessons" down your throat but instead encouraged genuine creativity and having fun.

Phineas and Ferb feels like it gets kids. It didn’t try and pretend they were made of glass.

One of the things I love about Phinneas and Ferb is that somebody's embarrassment never became the thing to laugh at. Even when Candace was sometimes put in an embarrassing situation, she still wasn't humiliated. I hate watching shows that make someone being the butt of the joke an important part of the comedy. Not only does it feel a bit gross, but my secondhand embarrassment is too strong.

I loved this show when I was kid and now as a 21 year old, I have no shame in saying i bought Disney+ just to watch Phineas and Ferb. I honestly enjoy it even more now that i’m an adult more than I did when I was a kid.

I loved that one episode where they just literally did nothing and Candace didn’t believe them

Another thing I loved about the show is that it never took itself too seriously. It always cracked jokes on itself which made it even funnier.

“A-G-L-E-T aglet! Don’t forget it!” I never have, and I think of this show whenever I hear the word aglet.

For some reason, I didn’t even notice there was a song in EVERY episode

Phineas and Ferb had very repetitive episodes and each one still managed to entertain me. Now that's the impossible.

Favorite quote from them is from the solstice special when they are stuck on the island. “Look! A sponge and a starfish! There’s gotta be something we can make out of that! Wait no, that’s ridiculous.”

I’m 90% sure Dr Doofenshmirtz had the most emotional, intense backstory there is.

The elevated writing, also makes the show timeless. Where kids who grew up with it can rewatch it catching all of the incredibly funny visual gags they weren’t looking for or the jokes they couldn’t understand.

I actually never noticed that there weren't really conflicts or character developments in that show.

One of my favorite lines from Phineas and Ferb: "Well, I think we have all learned a valuable lesson today....But we all know what it is, so why waste time repeating it?" An obvious jab at how a lot of kids shows talk down to their target audience. Like Dan Povenmire said: Kids are smarter than people give them credit for.

They did the impossible, which was to make every single day of summer vacation enjoyable.

My favorite gag is Isabella having a crush on Phineas and him not even noticing. It was so iconic that at a panel, Alyson Stoner (Isabella’s voice actress) explicitly said it and Vincent Marella (Phineas’s voice actor) replied with “I don’t know WHAT she’s tapking about.”

In a hilarious twist, Disney said it was “impossible”. And the boys do the impossible, I love this show in so many ways.

I loved watching this as a teen. Especially when Doof was caught with a different nemesis and Perry dealinh with it like he was heartbroken and then they all go on a more friendly-like Jerry Springer show

IMO the best parts of this show is when it breaks the routine, I love episodes like the one where Phineas and Ferb did nothing and Candance didn't believe them, or the one( or multiple, I can't remember) when Perry help out Dr. Doofenshmirtz, or that one time they sent a diferent agent instead of Perry

I realize the reason I loved this show was because it's happiness. Everyone in PF's world had an indefinite amount of joy. For no reason. I was automatically happy when I watched this show.

It's scary to think that the show first aired 12 years ago. I remember when my dad was at work and he came back he would always want to watch sports, but when Phineas and Ferb was on he'd never change the channel. He laughed uncontrollably to the adult jokes in the show and at the time I could not understand what was so funny. He even said it's his favourite cartoon of all times, the writers of the show really managed to keep all of it's audience watching. My dad passed away 3 years ago and is probably watching Phineas and Ferb in heaven right now. Rip dad

For me this show is a template for the modern day Looney Toons, it has rules but once they’re established it can play with them and it’s honestly just so much fun it makes me happy

A perfect example of the P&F storyline is the episode “Tri-Stone-Area”, the entire episode (aside from the “live action” fourth wall break) was voiced in complete gibberish, yet completely understandable for fans of the show

Disney said it wasn't going to work and now Phineas and Ferb is being renewed for another season. This show is what got me interested in animation and art and I will forever be grateful for it. There will never be another show like it

He possibly says something like a tragic backstory or a reason why he built what he built Perry rolls his eyes Cut to Phineas and Ferb making their big invention, Isabella saying "whatcha doin," Buford and Baljeet also joining in, Phineas and Ferb completing their invention, and Candace trying to get Mom's attention Maybe some "aren't you a little young to be ______?" "Yes, yes I am." Cut back to Doof and Perry Perry escapes while Doof is just rambling about nothing Then they fight and probably bump into the inator which usually goes into rapid fire after they do Inator explodes, probably CURSE YOU, PERRY THE PLATYPUUUUUSSS!! A zap from the inator destroys Phineas and Ferb's invention thus getting rid of the evidence Candace finally shows Mom and it's gone Candace says something like, "but, but, but, but" "Oh there you are, Perry!" "Anyone want some pie? "Yes, yes we do." Ferb says something THE END And a song somewhere in there Let me know if I missed anything.

That library song is musically superior to most of the songs that are created today

I always though that Phineas and Ferb was a very smart show with smart humor, and that's the main reason why I enjoyed it so much. It's cool to see that that was actually the writers' intention

This was my all time favorite show as a kid. I honestly think it had an impact on me pursuing engineering in college

Watching Phineas and Ferb everyday with my older sister was a true summer childhood experience. In our Disney Channel server they would broadcast Phineas and Ferb everyday during the summer breaks and it just gave us that feeling/aura of summer that no other cartoon was able to make. I loved this show and will never hate it.

I never talk down to children. I assume kids know more than adults give them credit for. Sometimes, the kids prove not as smart as I thought and I modify, but that's quite rare. Kids shows that talk down to kids are making kids less smart than they would otherwise be. Give kids a challenge. Remember, we aren't raising kids, we raising the adults they will become.

I can always appreciate when a creator doesn't just assume kids are dumb. They aren't. They are just adults in little bodies. Talking down to them can cause life long problems
