My phone is 5 yrs old. And in strange places. I carry my stuff on my chest and wrapped around my body. You gotta take me completely down and I'm not a quiet person. Then there's my 6'4 husband who will break you in half for even touching me.
Criminal Organization is actually a pretty proper term for phone snatchers. They usually function in groups and have contacts for once they steal the phones, to sell them and get them hacked. They all usually function together regularly, having codes and plans in place for things to go wrong.
There are sories of them burning your arm with a sigarette when you have it in your other hand. And then steal it when you grab your burned arm in a reflex.
The fact that you have the phone on your left hand and have a strong grip gives me the anxiety 😭😭😭😭 1.I know he might be left handed, but that still makes me anxious(omg you have no ide....even though his grip game is good 2.Yes,it's a fake phone....but imagine if those thieves were successful in snatching it under all those situations....they would lots of fake phones, and honestly,a little embarrassing..... Let it rest now
They are likely to snatch it if it is in the right hand. But yeah, they will never succeed if he is prepared in the first place regardless left or right hand
i seen a few of these videos before, and its pretty smart that you use a display phone you would see in a store rather than risk a real phone or even YOUR phone. really smart move!
If this was in Japan, even if you leave your stuffs behind in wherever places, you will see just like how you left it. I've been there and people are so honest.
Developed.. developing..underdeveloped bring new government there with new govt. Policies, political reforms, education reforms on prior and when they become able to buy basic stuffs for themselves but still resort to stealing then compare it with Japan or some other countries.. n it's not a justifications.. basic human science
Because the Communism. Stealing other stuff same as make you get stolen. Beside pickpocket aren't worth with the sanction. A criminal record is same as death flag in Japan, you will be discriminate and almost have no chance of working for someone
@@lionheart3567 You weren't there so stop judging. I've been in cases where people tell to put my phone safe while on the road. We can't tell if he was a thief or not.
For everybody worrying about his watch: It's difficult to take someone's watch off, especially in a moving vehicle. Remember: they're snatchers, not pick-pockets.
That what makes it more dangerous. If his watch is worth much and the guys are desperate they are gonna cut off his hand instead which is even worse. They will try doing as fast as possible and they will probably cover their face.
@@avrahamrosenberg2905 That's really unfortunate and sad. How is he doing now? People can be really cruel when in need of money. Also when going in these type of streets pls don't wear something fancy amd dress as casual as possible they target people who look like they have money mostly. Anyways wish your friend a great life and hope those criminals get what they deserve.
@@marod5552 Did you just say that this video is 100% factual on the life of a "Kanyan", it's not Kanyan, it's Kenyan, and this video only portrays only a certain image of Kenya, Kenya is actually very beautiful. also please explain to me why you said "I am not assuming anything tho" even if just a sentence ago you said "then i have no doubt you were hanging your phone out off your car like the person in this video", that's assuming, also no I was using my phone and someone came and snatched it. also "How can you get snatched if you do all of the requirement prevention and follow the safety guideline on how to live in "Kanya"?" is like asking how can a plane crash even if it follows all of the safety guidelines, also how can you be sure this video accurately portrays life here? Think before you comment.
Despite all the people trying to snatch a phone it was pretty wholesome to see that there’s still some people who showed concern and warned you, hope in humans still remains
@@terryadavis3458 even one person can make a difference brother. Just have faith. You be that one person that takes the first step in being a good person and I assure you, one day someone will look out for you without your knowledge.
He wasn't using a real phone lol. You think anti-scammers use actual computers rather than virtual machines when they allow a scammer to control their "pc"? Ohh wait, you mean like why is he showing this? Ohh, I'm stupid. Lot's of people don't understand scams that go on in a lot of countries. I actually ran into a scam with this woman where she was trying to get me to "donate" money to some cause. She was talking nonsense about something, so I gave her a fake name/address and she eventually got mad at me. A few years later I found a youtube video exposing that scam. My dismissive behavior didn't allow it to get to the point where she would asked for a donation and her anger towards me makes more sense. I ignored her before she could talk about the donation part lol.
@@jfast8256 he said “who would trust themselves enough” which means most people are scared of accidentally dropping their phone on their own so won’t hold their phone out like that
@@jfast8256 thats not exactly what I mean. What I mean is that clearly some of the people have enough coordination to be able to steal phones that I would assume this is a somewhat common occurrence
There used to be a very popular taser gum that would electrocute you when you offered it to a friend. You should make a phone with the same electric shock function when you pull it.))
Reminder when you are outside. This is only a reminder, you guys can do it too. Actually if you try to hold your phone tightly the same way he does, it would be super hard to snatch the phone. Also, he is a man and probably an average person so he must have strong grip enough to stop snatchers from snatching his phone.
those type of thieves usually operate at night or dawn when it's dark and there's not a lot of people around moral of the story: don't go jogging at night or dawn
I always keep a tight grip on my phone and I'm always alert for thieves. I keep my hands where I can feel my pockets to keep pickpockets from making any attempts. My dad keeps a chain attached to his phone case in front of him at all times.
@@sheriffhoyt2108 I agree. To me, this video does nothing but laugh at the poor, no? The mans arrogance outshines the thief’s actions, he achieves nothing with this
@@Oh2x the hell do you mean “it does nothing but laugh at the poor” LMAO, first of all don’t be a snowflake but also it’s their fault for trying to fucking steal from people like tf? 😂😂
@@believedsphinx5859 but you’re right about the snowflake part. Just when I see people in poor areas stealing it just reminds me of myself in an earlier time of my life. Ultimately there’s not enough context to these peoples lives to render the situation wrong or right
@@jonahclement24 not really bruh not everybody over there is doing this grimy scummy shit for money they obviously don’t have to resort to this they chose to
Everyone talking about his hydraulic press level grip strength and no one talking about how they've never seen anyone hold their phone out a car window
Yes! Nobody does this! It's just dangling out there and then dude tries to cattle prod the guy for trying to swipe it from his hand. Isn't this like, intentionally setting up a crime? Like leaving a pile of cash on the sidewalk but also hiding nearby in the bushes with a .357 to catch the "criminal" who takes it? Weird flex, bro.
@@avantgarde999xxxhes very lucky no one chopped off his hand tbh. So uncalled for especially if youre in places where theres high stricken poverty. Smh
As a Kenyan I appreciate the end of the video where he showed that way more people told him to be careful than the people that tried to steal it. Most people would've just highlighted the negative.
@@user-vj6ej6rr8s No. With corruption comes impunity. They wouldn't be able to do their crimes if the government fought against them and held them accountable, but the government didn't because it is corrupt.
What's even scarier is the thieves who reach into your car while you're in traffic and steal whatever is in your backseat. A family friend experienced this. Her bag was snatched, and her toddler was in the backseat and saw it all.
@@choxomoxxo565 Same. Sadly, I've heard some of those thieves try to smash windows. They work in teams, so they smash windows and grab stuff really fast. It's scary out here...
@@MarieAnnAdae it really is, i was always so paranoid of that stuff happening, thankfully the most I've ever seen in heavy traffic were vendors or homeless people asking for money
Not gonna lie, when he said the phone was fake I wanted one final thief to actually “steal” it just to see the humiliation on their faces once they realize it’s fake and they were being tricked the whole time xD
Всё как Жак Фреско говорил. Неравенство и дефицит порождает преступность. Для вас это социальный эксперимент, для них попытка выжить. Спасибо за ролик.
Or you shouldn't hold your phone outside of the car... If someone is such an idiot to hold it outside that person deserves it to steal his phone for sure.
Love that man featured in the last part of the video. Obviously, he doesn't know how to speak English well yet he tried to warn the guy to keep his phone inside and not let it be outside of the window for safety and for it to be not get snatched. He deserves all the love❤️❤️
Yeah it seems like OP just wanted to do a prank and make a point that tbh doesn't need to be made this hard. In any country or unfamiliar place you should keep your belongings safe...also like...no they shouldnt be stealing but baiting people and laughing at trying to taze them is...uncomfortable to say the least and obviously just for views and i guess education but its really just common sense..as a traveler you should just take care of your stuff and always be careful.
He's everything we need in this disgusting society we live in, wish there were more people like him and less muggers like the other ones. I'm so tired of seeing innocent people get killed just because some random guy wanted to snatch that person's phone and sell it on the black market for 2 cents afterwards.
@@JasFromMars it's not really baiting if you shouldn't be stealing in the first place.. I know it's really hard for them but that's not an excuse to steal
