Ozark Greaser haha I've watched it a ton myself. I'm pretty suprised at how well this came out. I think it has more to do with how amazing Steve and Nichole are haha. One of my absolutely favorite videos not only of yours, but on pomade in general. The shots were breath-taking. The cuts and transitions were seamless. The music was engaging, but didn't detract from the action. Ya managed to encapsulate why homebrewers really do make top notch quality products. I knew Lockhart's is one of the more well known and successful homebrewers around, which is why I was quite surprised to see how much still is done by hand. Your work on this video is very much appreciated Mike! In a world where videos can be formulaic and bland, videos like these are fresh, entertaining, and eye opening. I was curious if ya did the drive solo or if your wife and Finn came along.

Meeting the Lockharts was nothing short of inspiring and eye-opening. They are some of the most kind and genuine people and I'm really glad that we were able to become friends with this project. My wife made the drive with me as I'm still having hip issues and she's always there to support me when I say things like " hey do you wanna drive 26 hours in one weekend to make a video on pomade??" Haha but that much driving would have been a little much on Finley so he stayed with grandma for the weekend.

I'm making my pomade almost with the same ingredients. Avocado oil I use alot plus bees wax.. I'm hoping to send some of my pomade to you when I get everything started. Great video you guys!

Vaseline aka petroleum jelly is hypoallergenic, i.e. it doesn't cause allergies. Nor does it require any preservatives. And the vaseline works as a shield from the outside so that the moisture that the body generates stays locked inside the hair.

Terrific video! I'm a goon grease user and fellow Michigander, so this was pretty damn cool. Im curious as to how they designed their logo and how they get the stickers made for their tins.
I've tried a lot of oil-based and water-based pomades but I always go back to Goon Grease. Nothing scoops, apply and style like Goon Grease, and of course that scent, damn.
Awesome video! I placed my order for my 1st Lockhart Pomade, Goon Grease oil based & lemon scented. I've never tryed an artisan pomade & looking forward to see how my hair handles it

I have questions: What do you use to give color to the pomade? And after adding color to the pomade, will it affect your hair color or it just helps giving the pomade a nice look with color?

Kevin Karnoto I've actually talked with wade about this and he's going to be trying to get a new space for his operation sometime in the future from now but he said once that happens he would be down for a BTB
Btw, i bought alot of products. And I found (ironically enough) that a combo of blumaan fifth as a prestyler and HDF claymation give amazing results. Great hold, volume, structure, separation and shine. One of the few combos I can just comb after a nights sleep. I would suggest to try it if you feel like it ;)!
This video was very informative, thank you! I make facial hair care products, and I make everything i bottle/tin at a time. All my measurements of for a single bottle/tin, and I knock out one after the other. My question is this, how do you go about figuring out the proper measurements to make product in bulk like this? I am positive that I am over thinking this process, I just can't wrap my head around it.
