Black privilege. They can say all they want but the second you say anything remotely against them they throw up a giant fit (and burn down a city or two)
As a black man, how Charlemagne asks Post how he handles racism, while actively being racist is just astounding. Edit: Didn’t think this would be that popular of a take, lol. Also, idc if you think I’m black or not 🙌🏽
It's wild, and I hate the whole corn rows or braids argument as well. It's a "French Braid". But all around just a pointless argument. Way more things going on right now in this world, then to still be arguing over things like this...
Thank you.👏🏼Charlemagne isn't jealous. He is hateful and racist because he can't handle the fact that Post Malone is a successful rapper, and white. If Post was African American he wouldn't have been pressed like this.
If you were actually black, you would know its impossible for black people to be racist in Western society. Racism requires POWER to enact. Something Black people don't have. Only White people can be racist in Western society. Everyone else is just prejudice. We gotta start using terms correctly folks. Not up for debate as I turn notifications off so if anyone replying to me expecting a back and forth. Sad day for you more than likely I won't see nor read it.
You know the funny thing is I’m white so obviously I’m not racist towards post Malone for being white, but I definitely judged him bc of his appearance and the way he looked. I’m from a different generation I’m closer to Charlemagne in age so maybe it’s a little bit of that but the more I heard him speak and the more I listened to his music I couldn’t help but appreciate who he is. He doesn’t think he’s better than anyone he’s humble and appreciates what he has and who has made it happen. I saw him in concert and after the show that dude spent like a half hour shaking hands and saying hi to his fans. You can tell when people are fake and trying to put on a show that guy is just being himself.
That definitely big facts.. even tho Charlamagne was super hard on him. But it a super super old video. CHARLAMAGNE and Post growner and richer than most..
He wasn't jealous. Post was NEVER a hip hop head. He just threw some braids in and gold teeth to get in the game and went all the way pop. Lame. Look at how he changed his whole look now
@@cortezagain nope while Charlemagne may have delivered the message wrong, he was 100% correct. I think post malone is a great artist and definitely deserves the recognition, but he is the definition of a culture vulture. He used hiphop as a stepping stone to make different genres of music because it was the easiest to get into. Also the comments he make later on his ig live, to xxl, and how many other times that "hiphop to him was never as deep as other genre" shows that he never really respected it. Theres nothing wrong with making other music, alot of artist do it, but when you specifically come into the culture don't respect it and only make music in the genre because its whats going to get the most success then its cleare that your only using the culture. Post Malone could have left hip hop and went on to make other music without ever stating those comments. He also could have made those other genres way earlier, notice how he only started making country now that its popular? Also how switched to pop once he had the chance? He also never said he didnt want to be known as pop singer, or country singer, but specifically said he didnt want to be known rapper? Theirs just as many black people , who pretend to be as hood as possible to promote the culture, I also consider culture vultures; when they grew up in entirely differnt lifelstyles and would switch to another genre as well. Post Malone never respected hiphop and I was very against the idea of him being a culture vulture in the beginning but now its as clear as day.
@@Tuesday-x2x @user-by5zr5bu7b a artist is a artist and why should we have a say on what they make or when they . we dont know what was going on in his head when he decided to start making hip-hop/rap (idk at this point i just like music) unless you know post. how can you say things like they're a fact yet you have no evidence. you say he doesn't respect hip hop just because he said it isnt as deep as other genres. which isnt even an good description because deep could mean multiple things. Just look up "i might rap but i dont make rap music " and you will see where im getting my take. youll also see why post wouldnt want to be know as a rapper and be labled as just a rapper. with all that being said i still respect your opinion and thanks for it always like seeing others perspective :p sorry if its hard to read
Post Malone took all that "criticism" and STILL remained mature, humble, and pretty cool. Guy deserves all the kudos. (It was an attack but Post Malone still deserves all the kudos.)
That's why Charlemagne hates him so much. Because he's a better person than he is. Bad people can't understand good people. And even though they don't fully understand the meaning of being a good person, they're still jealous of the good person. Because they're hateful with no reason.
Charlamagne is an example of when critics think they are bigger then the artist. When all they do is voice their opinion vs the artist putting in countless of hours making music.
You cant have an opinion on somthing? Also thats not really Charlamagne's opinion on Posts music hes only going to hate it because its Post Malone its not being critical.
Telling Post's girlfriend that he's gonna sleep with other women right in front of him is some of the most disrespectful shit I've ever seen on a podcast. If he thinks every guy with money is gonna start cheating, that says more about him than Post. He should be ashamed of himself.
It's remarkable how Post, at just 20 years old, faced and triumphed over the abuse from a racist bully with such grace and dignity, truly exemplifying a class act.
@user-iy6oe9kp4f it is that deep. At 20 It's highly rare for someone to have that much grace and humbleness in the face of racism and hate in front of thousands of people. Put yourself in his shoes and think about how you would have felt.
The Charme-thingy (whatever his name is). People like that, people that instigate and play victim afterwards and think they stand above the rest are what is wrong with the society now. "Treat others the way you want to be treated".
Post Malone is the embodiment of "I have no enemies". Despite him being bombarded with disrespectful statements, he decided to still be chill and kind with his words.
He's an industry tool that sold his soul for a little fame and fortune, there's nothing "chill" or "kind" about it lol. The sooner people realize how to make it in hollywood the better. We're living in an era where there's more free information available than ever before, there's no longer any excuse to be ignorant.
@@matics28I don’t really care bout the entire making it in Hollywood thing too much but genuinely tell me where he sold his soul. I need to know if you yappin or not
I don't get how someone can actually hate Post Malone as a person. If people hates his music that's something else, but consitently hate on this man and he's still managing to handle this cool is just proving that he is a nice guy.
I don't like his music... only track I like is Rockstar... but I watch any interview he does because of his personality; always positive, always polite and respectful, always engaging and fun... it was his Hot Ones interview that sold me.
I can bet chow mein with his semi following in the rap game more white people would give him votes then any other African American talk show radio hosts to call himself the god what's he doin for black lives matter there's legit white people that wanna lynch blacks doggin a white rapper is just gonna tighten the nice around the next George Floyd's neck that's what he did for black lives matter

I felt rage and I was holding back tears imagine watching someone break someone down for no reason. And Post Malone is so cool and calm.I swear I wanted to cry😢😢😢😢😢
Post Malones' composure is so inspiring. I respect that man so much for keeping calm and dealing with that situation like an adult. Something that countless other celebrities don't do.
@jamelcarpenter327 I know he is 100% justified in expressing anger. But life is unfair, and sometimes expressing anger will get somebody in more trouble. Also, I didn't say he SHOULDN'T express his anger, but I just said his adult and calm reaction is inspiring.
same bro, stuff like this is why I had a hard time showing people my music. This inspired me to just do it and be humble no matter what. People will always be miserable and blame everyone for their insecurities.
Charlemagne showed his true self here - jealous, petty, angry, hateful, and antagonistic. Post Malone handled this with style, courtesy, and grace. When someone shows you who they really are, believe them...
His entire "career" is him being on the backseat of more successful people, i am not surprised he has become so bitter. But with post, it seems he had something personal against him. He will never amount to true success, he will always be "that interviewer guy".
Yeah; and that’s the thing…he’s ALWAYS been this way. He’s such a dick at times It’s just so obnoxious-esp then when he goes on to talk about his ignorant nonsense
While I'm not a fan of Post's music, I'm a fan of Post as a person. I wish every artist held his level of humility and all around great demeanor. Post has been a shining example of the good of humanity which is rare in and of itself, but even more rare when it's someone as successful as he is.
100%, i love hiphop but post malone never really clicked with me as an artist, but as a person you bet i'll watch any content like interviews or videos about him because guy is just pleasant to listen to and has such a good personality
Post took the high road with this interview. He was calm and polite and new what and why he was being questioned. Props to Post for handling that 'conversation' very well.
I agree. Although, he does have a point. Post Malone benefiting from "urban" black music and not having more insight on the plight of those people is inconsiderate. It's the problem people have with Andrew Schulz he got famous originally from from his association with MTV boy's code which is marketed towards "urban" clientele. Now all of a sudden he's a huge MAGA trump support trying to justify why it's okay for Joe Rogan to say the Nword. I can see why people would be weary of white artist when their first single "white iverson" is clearly marketed to get the "cool white" black approval then pivot to a whiter audience to make more money.
Tiger woods just had to be good at golf, he wasn't expected to know everything about every white person. And a key word you kept using was urban, not black. Go to any major "urban" city in US and none of them are just black, theres white, latino and asian people too. And theyre just as "urban" So you're fine with a huge corporation marketing shit for "urban" people, but you expect an individual who did a show that was marketed for an "urban" audience to not be themselves or express their own opinions? So he should be only spreading the message that the huge corporation pushed? The same message that got you half indoctrinated? Also. Joe doesn't USE that term, yes he said it. But there's a difference. We're adults, it's not a magic word. If a judge is reading a court document, is he supposed to skip that word like a child ?
That's a good one.. I've been playing grimy punk and metal for years. During lockdown i basically sold all of my gear to buy new stuff to make electronic in my bedroom instead. I got a lot of shit. along the lines of "oh that is not what punk/metal is about" .. i thought to myself "fuckem" and just ignored their comments and pushed myself in a new direction .. so yeah, 3 years later i've gotten better and all of a sudden those same b-hinds saying negative things are kind a opening up to the new stuff I'm working on .. punk/metal/hardcore doesn't have to by on traditional Guitar/Drums/Bass any more ... Honestly I don't think i will ever not have the energy of that type of music
@@tobe1207 I wrote "urban" with quoatation marks which is what corporate america says when they mean black. Tiger Woods is a horrible example he did an interview with Opera where he said he didn't even consider himself black. In any "urban" city if you go to certain clubs they will say they want or don't want a more "urban" clientele meaning more or less black people listening to hiphop music. Since you don't know that I'd assume you've never been to those clubs with black friends that were turned away at the door for being black or wearing a baseball cap when your white friends wearing the exact same outfit don't have an issue. Tobe you have no idea whawt you are talking about. I didn't say I was fine with it. I said they both have a point if you are using black culture, black music, black hairstyles, and black attire/dressing to help yourself get famous then you should be concerned about the police brutality that affects black people aka the blm movement.
@@kadimusbaratheon7352honestly I think that as much I respect post, in this situation it makes him the opposite, you don’t laugh the dude off who’s insulting your parents and your girl to your face. You leave.
Laughing at his Dad's job is probably the most disrespectful thing they did in the whole interview, but there was so much malice and toxicity from Charlamagne it makes me happy to know that even in 2024 people are still remembering how he treated Post Malone like crap and now Post is still huge and basically everyone but charlamagne likes him
Post handled that way better than I could have. If it were me I can promise you that it would have not went well. And everyone in the room that laughed at that are some clowns too.
@@stud5588 The cool thing is that Post isn't disrespectful, he never lowered himself to charlamagne's level. He could have responded rudely like that, which would have been justified and normal, but then he would just be a random person rather than the exceptionally mature person he is
@@jaxonmattox9267 You're absolutely right and I'm glad he handled it in his way. Post truly is a super cool dude. My theory on Charlemagne though is his inner self hatred stems from being a deeply closeted gay man. He's gay but doesn't have the courage to come out. Instead he's created a persona that he now has to live up to and it's not working of course because he's not being true to himself. So when he see's someone like post who is truly happy, his reaction is to try and cut that person down because he's jealous and feels that if he can't be happy then no one else should be. What's your thoughts on that?
Charlemagne hates white people. I remember listening one morning after Nick Cannon’s comment that white people have no empathy and Charlemagne defended. He also always rude to white guests. It’s obvious that he hates white people, no matter what he says, because his actions have made it clear for all to see.
I have to agree, the more I learn and see of posty the more relatable, loveable and inspiring he gets.. I hope someday I can get to a tenth of an amazing person he is.
I've watched Post go from breaking into the scene to dominating it. Through all of it he has shown beaming kindness. He's a man that's blessed and is happy to bless others. Can't hate on that. I just can't
Already didn’t like Charlemagne, but now I like post as a person. Jealousy is a strong emotion folks, and hatred that’s accepted by a group is the worst kind we know

Post has always been a good person, no matter how high he got I've never seen him treat people like crap most of the times they are the ones going out of their way to make him feel uncomfortable and he still tries to accommodate them.
😂😂😂😂😂 The Breakfast Club has always been this way ..Before Post...and after Post... The narrator got you in your feelings bc this happens all the time on the show...It is provoking...but also like a hazing for new artists and comedic... Post didn't take offense to the questions....Only a narrator to provoke thee...And it got you!!
Charlemagne acts that way to anyone he thinks is trash. Black, white. He will clown you. Secondly he wasn't wrong with Post leaving Ashlynn. He's not with her and saying his present relationship is his best ever.
I don't really care for Post's music but it seems like it should be impossible to hate him. He's such a genuinely nice guy...or he's the best actor of all time, but I think he's just a good dude.
I don't listen to post Malone, but everything I've heard and seen about him is him being wholesome and respectful. He seems genuine and that's something everybody can respect.
From what Ive seen of Post Malone he seems l ike a really chill person that would legitimately be fun to hang out with even if he were an artist making music in his room on a laptop.
Post malone is a great example of "dont mistake my kindness for weakness", he's seems like a kind and caring person who keeps his cool but he will not let anyone get him down or affect him negatively and prevent his success.

He’s all about love and positivity and it’s been a great ally to him. Let all the bitter people wallow in their own mess while you go places.

Dude projected own insecurities onto Post Malone. Impressed with how measured PM. He was no one and treated as trash by someone with a hell of a lot of power but PM responded like a man. Mad respect for Post Malone and how a man responds as a boss!
Post Malone's ex-girlfriend, Ashlen Diaz, attempted to take financial support from the rapper after press caught him cheating on her on a yacht. The news comes from Martorell Law, whom the scorned woman had hired to negotiate a deal with Malone before later dismissing them.LOL
What’s really funny is Charlemagne does not show that energy when tough black artists are sitting beside him. He has been checked several times and always backs down.
You sound emotional and illogical. Charlemagne only laughed because before Post commented his father worked, concession Charlemagne said 'What he's a water boy?'..

While watching Post and Charlamagne talk I was trying to think of throwaway cutting one liners Post could say. Post handled it the right way, tho. He stayed calm and didn't retaliate. Seeing it in action makes me want to be more level headed.
it shows Post's character but if he would have lashed back it wouldn't have made me lose any respect for him either. He's a good dude who is secure in what he does and his standing. Why lash out at someone who wishes to be on his level?
I don’t know how someone can be so rude to Post Malone after seeing his interactions with people. He’s always such a nice, respectful guy and he’s clearly just having a great time. Hard to hate someone who’s that happy.

My favorite comment from the interviews is when he said “I’m gonna talk about that with my friends.” Such a lesson there. It’s important to have close friends and not put everything in the public eye for others to criticize you.
As an artist myself, i personally think that The Breakfast Club is honestly one of the worst interviews to do for artists. It feels like Charlamagne doesn't know how to interview & usually makes people uncomfortable, especially with the Logic interview.
The fact Post Malone decided to be kind instead of being the second source of fire really makes me happy. He deserves all of the respect he is getting, god bless him!💚
He's a culture vulture that used rap music to blow cause he was not talented enough to make it in rock or country. Now he's switched up like he's too good for it
After seeing post at a concert and actually seeing how nice and humble he was, talking to the crowd after every song, telling us thank you so much, shouting out the crew working, out of every artist I’ve ever seen he’s an amazing person!
Post was whatever to me until I saw a video of him looking sleep deprived, bags under his eyes, borderline looking depressed but a fan ran up to him and he still went back, composed himself, smiled for a picture and provided an autograph. That's mad respect because he knows he wouldn't be shit without his fans, I admire the guy so much after that!
@mttlsa686 yeah and also I saw him give a fan the shoes on his feet and i believe he was just shoeless after that. The guy is one hell of a human being and his music is nice, not my favorite, but I will bump to some post in the car man!
He wouldn't be shit without his fans? That isn't true and I highly doubt he would think that. He took that photo because he is good natured. That probably made that person's day.
Charlemagne has spoken of "running trains" with his friends on passed-out-drunk girls in the past. He is not a good person as can be heard from his "you're only as faithful as your options" worldview. He's telling on himself left and right.
Post still comes across as humble today in interviews as he did back then. It's great to see someone get so much success and not lose themselves in it. Such a likeable dude
That wasn't why he was doing it. He was doing it because he knew the ins and outs behind the scenes, and knew what they (music execs) were using Post Malone for, and didn't like any of it.

If you had been to Posty's concerts (and I have), you would know Post Malone is an extremely down-to-earth and kind individual. Not only did his performance shine throughout the night, he thanked the crew for their hard work and the fans for JUST showing up. I will forever have love and respect for him.
Didn't really listen to Post Malone's music but I did go to his concert at the F1 GP in Singapore. Really loved his performance and he was such a nice guy throughout! You could also feel his enthusiasm for performing. Truly my favourite concert of the weekend.

A lot of people in his position tend to let the fame and success get to them but he seems like a super cool guy. I've interacted with him once and watched him stream on Twitch a few times and he was nothing but humble and kind. Big respect for this man.
The Charlamagne's folllow you into adulthood, and they become even more dangerous because they become more subtle for which you might question your sanity.

You should watch the interview he did with Lil'Mama. It was one long attack where he made her cry over her mother's death right before her album came out. He took part in ruining that talented girl's career.
I saw post at Coachella and instantly fell in love with this man’s character. There were technical difficulties with the sound and while the sound crew was trying to figure it out this man stayed on the stage cracking jokes, talking to the crowd and entertaining but in the most relatable, real and raw way I’ve ever seen a celebrity relate. And it had to have been 105 degrees, this man could have stepped off stage and removed himself from the hot lights and retreated to a ac RV until the sound was back up and running but you could tell he genuinely enjoyed some real down to earth interaction with the crowd and this experience made me love this man and what he’s doing that much more. Great human being
It's such bonehead ankle-biter shit for Char to do that. He didn't even try to disguise his contempt and seemed like some high-school bully dipshit. 'Tell me something about you. OK that's bad and everybody you know is bad and you disappoint them and you'll do bad things badly.' His false 'calm' face is really telling, it's that kind of comatose-calm that people get when they let their sociopathic tendencies rise to the surface. He just picks somebody he casually dislikes and goes for it.
Cha is definitely Punchable. Posty gained even more respect from me by the way he conducted himself, he was the inflammable cool cucumber. Cha wishes he had the talent that Posty has in his little finger. He never will.
