I love the kaldorei, they are honestly, like, my favorite race ever! Don't understand how the narcissistic and self-absorbed BLOOD ELVES could be more popular than the ancient and wise night elves, quite honestly.
I was hoping you would mention the forces within the night elf army like the sentinels, watchers, wardens, and demon hunters. Also the allies of nature that help them like the dryads, keepers of the grove, faerie dragons, etc.

Sadly, the only times the Night Elves actually do anything great, is when they are not fighting anything Horde related. I remember when Malfurion back in the old days was ridiculous overpowered. In the War of the Ancients, he single handily (Well almost single handily) destroyed the legion's hold over the well of eternity (Temporarily.) And allowed the Night Elves to score a decisive victory. His awakening in WC3 was practically him ripping an entire scourge army apart by himself. In the novels, this guy saved the entire planet from the old gods who had plunged the world in an eternal nightmare. Hell even Tyrande had some feats of her own. Notice something? Yeah, in Lore, they are supposedly ridiculously overpowered figures who has done things and fought evils that have overwhelmed even the mightiest of Alliance and Horde members, yet the only time they do something with all their power is when they aren't fighting the Horde. If we were to go by super powers, original Thrall would likely be the only one who could compare to them.

+Oguzhan Kaygisiz Night elves don't have the op regeneration like the trolls. Trolls can regenerate every limb lost, their berserker war style, combined with the deadpool's regen. make them the most powerful in terms of combat.

I like trolls they are one of my favorite races but Night elves are just better. And i am not sure they regenerate in deadpools level.. and even if they do still..
why you always talks about their lore, and not what actually is supposed to the be the main reason of the video? You dont talk about their resources, neither their army (infantry, cavalry, artillery, etc), don't talk about their alliances, battle strategies or professions in their society.. Im not saying its bad, just giving you ideas
It used to be that way. Then a whole bunch of crybabies flamed him about how "they can easily beat the opposing classes and he is wrong for saying it otherwise etc.". My guess is that he just couldn't handle all the rage from these retards so now he just makes videos just to make them. The biggest proof of this is that his old videos would be like 10+ mins long while his new videos are 4-5 mins long at best.
I have covered some of this in the previous videos. Depends I might add it. I mainly use this format as a lore lesson on the race itself while leaving a big part of how powerful they are for discussion.

Well, let’s start they are one of ( if not THE) oldest race in Azeroth , we are talking about plus 10k years of military experience plus the refinement of their tactics . Plus their connection with nature makes them having the most gifted and strong druids . Plus their constant military drilling have birthed specialized corps like the Wardens and the Sentinels . What boggles my mind is such a powerful race why they are always the cannon fodder .
I hope that Malfurion and Tyrande will do something significant in this expansion. I have somehow feel that they have been left out in the previous ones. But we all know that night elfs and the two of them are very powerful and important.
If the night elves were even remotely lore accurate, the horde would've been already decimated. Shit malfurion could probably snap his fingers and have the entire collection of mudhuts called ogrimmar be swallowed up by the earth with how powerful he's supposed to be.
This is how the order of strength should be: Night Elves > Blood Elves > Draenei > Tauren > Orcs > Undead > Troll > Worgen > Human > Dwarf > Gnome > Goblin
Great description but don’t forget their miraculous ability to turn invisible! :D Night Elves really need their racials corrected in WoW, because Blizzard ruined Shadowmeld a number of year ago. It used be a ten second cooldown, which allowed us to utilize their time honoured stealth strategies from Warcraft III. It gave Night Elf players a first strike advantage or the ability to elude attackers. It was perfect the way it was, despite not giving the raw power the other racials did. Now it’s been nerfed into oblivion and hardly used. Juking a spell once in a while, but that’s about it. Ridiculous.
Yes, yes. The population of male intelligence in magic used to be high and most of the night elf warrior and hunters were females for hundreds of thousands of years. Until er.. 10 years ago or so when thousands of female night elves were born, choosing not to go with traditional elven names, but more along the lines of "Yoidpsnerd".

I would like to know how powerful they are rather than learning what I already know. Please go all out and compare how effective their druids are in an all out war, how effective their glaive ballistae are, and what sort of advantage the ancients give the nightelves over the other factions. You have to compare and analyze the power level and strenghts of the faction compared to others rather than just teaching us where the faction is from, and mentioning that they are skilled at building houses
I played a night elf rogue till northrend came out. It inspired my own lore for my illustrated novel series "Chronicles of Alkaya" my character Jaypar Prakkari is a lunar elf/avariel elf he was born without wings, rogue assassin that can shadow jump with umbrakinesis and bend the light around him with cloaking photokinesis. He's not as tall as a night elf only 6'4" 200lbs he's got dark hair cut like the goblin king jareth. He's got glowing green eyes that are adapted to seeing in the dark. In book four in my series "Alkaya: the lightening strikes at night" we follow jaypar on his mission to the darkside of the moon. First he must find the lunar saber or sword of truth an ancient alkayan artifact hidden on mt everest. When he finds the saber he holds it above his head and he's struck by a bolt of ultraviolet lightening and is instantly transported to the palace of the white witch/shadow priestess on the darkside of the moon. She trains jaypar how to use glamour magick and he becomes a Glamancer aka the westside wizard. With her help he finds the air temple to battle the gargoyle king the lunar saber is the only blade sharp enough to cut his flesh. After defeating the king he recovers the air Empyro a biomechanical symbiotic suit of armor that adjusts to conform to the host and is imbued with the elemental power aerokinesis. Think venom meets iron man meets the last airbender. There are three other Empyros that we find in the previous books book one the earth book Alkaya: the legend of Empyro you can find on amazon we find the earth empyro in south America. Alkaya is a parallel world of earth so the geography and names for places are the same. The host for the geo empyro is my younger brothers character bantam bumeril the wood elf demon hunter. The second book Alkaya: The rising tide follows my older brothers character Ferrick Vatten the whale man warrior on his mission to the water temple in the Mariana trench. The third book Alkaya: the wyldfyre follows Kolobar Avlossa the lion manimal pyromancer shaman to the fire temple located at mt. Hood oregon. The fifth book Alkaya: the holy light follows Sabria Masue the high elf holy paladin she discovers there's a fifth Empyro hidden in Egypt that enhances her photokinesis abilities. She's the heals and gets the team together she must solve the riddle of the sphinx. The sixth book Alkaya: the enveloping shadow follows Arnvatta the dark elf repticon and lead singer of dressed for genocide, as he steals an Empyro and they mimic the Empyros technology creating the shadow suit and synth empyros granting enhanced umbrakinesis. The last book in the series is book seven Alkaya: The immortal spirit. After our heroes save their realm from the great shadow dragon Lucifer they decide their work isn't done so they decide to save the multiverse by falling through the void. They end up on earth with their memories erased. Jaypar is the only one whos memories are triggered by different symbols in their realm. When i turned 16 i had a kundalini awakening the doctors called it a manic episode but i knew it was a spiritual emergence and remembered my life in Alkaya. Book seven is almost autobiographical because i talk about my experiences being hospitalized and waking up to my true potential finding the Empyros and save earth from reptilian fascists. Is funny that they "saved" the world yet most of the damage came from them because lets be honest if we didn't have any war of the ancients the legion would have still keep searching to find us there would be no scourge no illidan nothing about legion in warcraft 3 but faction wars and the nightmare wouldn't have much effect on azeroth or maybe not at all yet (thats for Xavius on that one )
Legion invasion was inevitable, but yes it was their fault. Yet they have never denied it. Even Furion, back in W3 was saying "Our sins returned to haunt us." They have won War of the Ancients, War of the Satyr and War of the Shifting Sands. Conflicts with a potential to end the world. Even then druids entered the Emerald Dream to heal Azeroth, what meant abandoning their people for six thousand years, because they were willing to atone for the War of the Ancients. They have banished those responsible and swored not to use magic again. They held to that promise for 10k years. Through all these years night elves were holding centaurs back for example, thus helping my dearest race, Taurens. After 10k years, when the time came to give back their power they didn't hesitate and sacrificed it to again save Azeroth. What race could do this? That is why I think they are noble. They have made a terrible mistake (well, Highborne did this, current Night Elves are completely different), but Night Elves repayed for that mistake 10 times over.

Also about them givving Nordrassil quickly changed when they kinda refused to give up their imortality as a big fact in their lifestyle which i find it kinda off or i got it wrong.
@@stef-mad676 They gave up their immortality. Teldrassil was planted against Malfurion and Cenarion Circle orders by Fandral. Night elves thought about Teldrassil as an abomination, until Dragon Aspects blessed it. Then the Worl Tree started to benefit Azeroth, just like the original one on Hyjal peak.
That was Azshara's fault and her cult of magic lackies. It was the survivors whom had little to do with her mistake that whole heartedly repented. They severed themselves from huge portions of tradition, culture, ect. They repented their extravagant lives and became the humble servants of nature and the light. They spent the next 10 thousand years in repentance for a mistake that was forced upon them all the while doing as many good deeds to those around them as possible. They didn't have to save the Gilneans. They did it because it was the right thing to do. They did it because they were left in the ruin of their devastated world and never forgot the moment when they thought :what have we done.
Yes some night elves made a mistake but the bottom line is they now serve as ever vigilant gaurdians to azeroth. THEY HAVE BEEN PROTECTING HER FOR 10 THOUSAND YEARS.
I don't like the way Blizzard keeps retconning new past lore for the Night Elves. Fifteen years ago, Blizzard said orcs were fallen Night Elves, now they say NEs are trolls, therefore, orcs are now trolls. Blizzard needs to stop with the retcons and messing up the lore, and put it back the way it was.
Agility is their advantage, but when it comes to physical power other races are far more superior, except for gnomes and trolls, and possibly other elves. If it wasn't for their agility and speed, face to face they would get totally crushed by an orc, tauren, human and dwarf alike. Many night elf fans are biased and cringe worthy, always exaggerating their power, but really, without the Elune and the trees to hide in, what are they? Not that strong at all. Aside from Malfurion who is on Nature steroids, that is. Quite honestly they were powerful using magic during Azshara's reign, but now...not so much.
That's just racial stats. An average night elf is much likely physically stronger than an average human. As are trolls in fact, which you can see in the battle between Vol'jin and the Zandalari in Shadows of the Horde, wherein which the Zandalari troll is able to force its fingers through wood, and Vol'jin is able to crush the Zandalari troll's skull.
Reality is that the night elves are as tall as the orcs and sometimes even taller. This makes them much larger than humans or dwarves. They may not weigh as much when it comes to height to weight ratio, but they are still bigger than most races.
There are always idiots with low Iq posting arguments like without ''their trees'' without''elune they are nothing, Counter argument would be that an Orc without his muscles is just a dumb weak pest...MMA Fighters can defeat foes x5 times larger, Night elves are not only agile they are vicious warriors, the orcs were afraid of them in WC3, even grommash said they are very savage ! learn about lore please.
Grommash described night elves as savage, and the perfect warriors. And lets not forget to mention that the Shendralar Highborne joined the Alliance under Tyrande’s rule in Cataclysm. Mordent Evenshade and his mages are present in the Darkshore warfront, so they have plenty of spellcasters as well
It's funny how you keep calling races that had multiple genocides against them in a short period of time some of the strongest races.Yes an individuel night elf is formidable but their numbers have been reduced so much… I can only see them as a local power because of this.Then again this goes for any race in the game. By all avounts humanity, the orcs and other schould be on the edge of extincion after everything that has happened. he timeframe between vanilla and and now is less then 10 years (6 or something) and we have had 2 faction wars, 2 campaigns against the legion, the war with the scourge and the cataclysm. All of which have been said to be hard won victories with heavy losses. And this all played out with the refugee orcs just starting to make 1 city and there being only 1 "last bastion of humanity" and as mentioned in the vid the world tree exploding It seems like the writers really don't care about demographix and it has gotten to the point of world breaking.
I consider myself pretty forgiving on unlogical parts of the story or weird choices. I just cant stand contradicting storytelling. You can't say that that the orcs are a small group of survivors trying to make a living one day and make them a large world conquering force the next you are simply missing some steps there.
Those genocides are usually done by writers who overlook the majority of that races lore. Even now, in 8.1, Night Elves arent using all of our Warcraft 3 units, let alone the actual powers we got in WoW. Those genocides are comparable to saying you beat modern america, but they werent allowed to use bombs. It's not a fair estimate of strength when all they're even allowed to be shown using are women with bows and rangers who get outsmarted in their own living lands by shambling corpses who cant control their bodies well enough to avoid making sounds in a forest (BECAUSE HOW? They are said to not even fully feel their bodies all the time, theres no way they can go through Ashenvale with that level of numbness, that close to elves, and not tip them off. The smell of a rotting corpse and foreign lands alone would give it away: let alone the senses of a Sentinel Owl or a Nightsaber.) I mean they even ignored the majority of Teldrassil's lore, and the basic biology of a tree, just so it could be burned down by normal catapults.
To make an example of what blizzard ignored btw: They ignore that NE's kinda constantly use titan blood and have great experience with it, because the Moonwells on Teldrassil have water from the well of Eternity in them: Nordrassil was also grown on the greatest remaining pool of this energy, and as of Cataclysm Nordrassil has been fully healed (It wasn't as big as focus of 4.2 as Thrall getting married tho) and the actual power that the Emerald Dream has over undead. This is mostly to fit a modern narrative, but in Wrath we could even see that the energies of the Dream could just turn undead to ash when they entered the emerald dragonshrine or touched seeds from the Dream (save the PC forsaken but it's never explained why, its plot armor to keep the players alive) They retconned Furbolgs to make them useless and get so angry (without corruption) that they'll attack literally everything, even the people helping them against the force actually invading their town (AND WHO ALSO SAVED THEM IN CATA), they actually never show any Priestess of the Moon doing anything in either the Novellas or the In-game stuff (save a few Priestess' casting a spell that does nothing after Teldrassil is burned) and the same goes for Dryads and Keepers. Cenarius and the other wild gods are ignored, so are the Shen'dralar (THEY ALSO IGNORED THEM IN SURAMAR TOO) (Also some Night Elf mages were present in Ashenvale during the novella, but they all died off screen. Most times NE's lost in this novella was to plot armor or something happened while the character whose perspective we're currently in wasn't paying attention, because even the scuffed Malfurion in BfA is too strong for Sylvannas to take on), and so are the Moonclaw Worgen and the pack in Felwood. Also they made Ancients just throw rocks... when the actual questing experience of darkshore shows them just making bigass columns of Moonfire that blew up Shatterspear buildings. TLDR: All they really let us have was Archers and Bears who died off screen.
I feel like genetically, a night elf probably isn't too powerful. I haven't read every novel but I've never gotten any hint that suggests night elfs being genetically superior to other races. I wouldn't say inferior, just not better. Maybe I missed something, as I've never read any of the comics and have missed a few books. But, I will agree that they are probably more powerful than other races simply cause of the age gap. I mean Malfurion wouldn't be anything if he didn't have over ten thousand years to learn from a demigod. So I do agree that individual night elfs are more powerful than many other races, but not due to being genetically strong or anything. Now talking about the race as a whole, whoa that's a complete opposite answer. Sylvanas did nothing wrong
Their capital is burned to the ground and most their people are killed XD. Malfurion and Tyrande ( their racial leaders ) can't even defeat a human with bow XD. They are strong enough to be a food for Orcs XD. Pathetic and weak race even these animals from Gilneas are more valuable than Night Craps. But don't worry there is a hope for Night elves. Lol teen edgelord. Lololololol no. Night elfs are pretty strong race, best druids and stuff good hunters and strong priestes of elune. But blood elfs are stronger imo, cs of thyer strong connection to magic, physicaly more muscual (pretty same as humans, mb little less but just a little) plus blood elfs are not like sneaking behind trees guys but like firebal into ur face guys. And magic is lorewise pretty op. Even average mage can kill superior warrior like a saurfang for example in 1v1 cs mage can just throw some ice spike into ur face before u even swing with your axe. So it makes only sense that magic based race would be pretty strong

stanislav koev hard question though, but i will try answer. Nightbors have pretty low numbers, as well as blood elfs. But i think based on the numbers of them in suramar q lines, that they are even less populate than blood elfs. Nightborns are even more based on magic, cs they even use magic to clean theyr houses and stuff as u can see in suramar. Blood elfs dont use it, it can be just bcs silvermoon is old zone so they didnt use it back in tbc, but i will stick to variation nightbotns use magic even more than blood elfs. So basically nightborns should be stronger mages and that means in 1v1 nightborn vs blood elf should win nightborn. But they dont have pretty strong city with good defense. Yes they reclaimed suramar, but since they dont have any trader roads or some connection to world outside of broken isles, its pretty useless to have giant magic city without some connection to world. So in war, blood elfs would win cs they even have some stealth rangers that are damn good on defending theyr land, plus more mages that can make some big booms. Lul. So overall blood elfs are stronger i think, but in 1v1 nightborn vs blood elf would win nightborn i think.
