Superhuman Strength: Cletus Kasady was an individual of slightly above average conditioning. After bonding with his symbiote, he acquired physical strength exceeding that of Spider-Man and Venom combined, letting him easily lift in excess of 80 tons.
That's his minimum strength level, Spidey was shown to lift that massive piece of heavy machinery in that one comic which likely weighed well over 100 tons and Venom once weakened a Ferris wheel while he was weakened which also weighed over 100 tons.
@@flimflammer2395 I think so But don't take my word as thrust worthy, it's been a loooong time since I read that Spidey/Iron Man story. So my memory might be rusted xd
Considering he's stronger than either Spider man or Venom that means he's atleast capable of lifting over 200 tons. And that's without factoring the blades, tendrils and other crazy shit he can do.
He is so powerful that he died very quickly. I’m actually disappointed that he was killed very quick. I was actually hoping he would be kept alive for another appearance in Venom 3. It would had been cool to actually see Venom & Spider-Man team up to take on Carnage and possibly Toxin in Venom 3. I actually think they made this version of Carnage weak in Venom 2.
well considering that perhaps venom 3 will explore the multiverse at some capacity, i can see they bringing a variant of carnage. Perhaps one that won idk
Well Venom has eaten Carnage in the comics and that didn't end up well for Venom, so maybe they'll follow on that and have Carnage burst out of Venom and come back for another movie.
Carnage is one of the few villains i'm afraid seeing my favorite heroes fight. Spider-Man has fought him one on one and won but at great risk. It's awesome to see but man it's nail-biting
Carnage is terrifyingly strong, which shows how dangerous Toxin must be, because toxin is stronger than both Venom and Carnage combined. Edit: it seems that Venom has been given several massive buffs making him stronger than Toxin, so there’s that. I still believe that Toxin has incredible potential and could probably get to Venoms level
I think it’s the AXIS Carnage, basically a universe where the nazis won WW2 and all the heroes and villains are switched. However Carnage still has psychotic tendencies but he does it for a good cause. He saves people while also traumatizing the person he’s saving because he’s Carnage. He’s essentially just like Venom with the whole moral code thing which is pretty damn cool.
Basically if written into canon Carnage can be the Marvel Universe version of something out of Resident Evil. Like I said before Carnage is almost dangerous as Ultron in Marvel Comics & the MCU.
Sweet! Comic material about Carnage! I don't know a whole lot about the guy, but I'm a HUGE fan! And seeing him make his movie reveal made me so excited! Especially being subscribed to Variant where I can learn so much more!
With him being able to reform the symbiote from scratch with a single drop of blood with the symbiote blood cells that where there I can see carnage coming back to life like that in the next venom movie
You forgot to mention the time when Carnage possessed the Avengers and an entire town in the state of Colorado in the comic book entitled "Carnage USA." The military and the Pentagon became so scared, they desperately searched for more options to stop Carnage.
should have mentioned carnage usa story arc, he takes over the whole town and his control is spreading, so from memory, captain america, agent venom, scorn, and what remained of phage, riot, scream and whoever the 4th symbiote made by the life corp was) go in to save them. a town full of carnage posessed humans would be terrifying
I remember my brother had a carnage game in sega when I was super young maybe 7-8 and he gave me nightmares. Almost 30 years later he’s one of my favorite marvel villains. Funny how it comes full circle
Carnage is an oddity, even among other symbiotes. Unlike most, he didn't really have any time on his own. He was instantly bonded to Cassidy from the second he was born and it ws a perfect match. Mind and body. As such, they are fully symbiotic now. The carnage symbiote will now change a host into "Cleatus". Even a lunatic with exceptional willpower like Norman Osbourne was not immune to it.
No matter what anyone thinks of the movie as a massive Symbiotes fan I'm sad that this will probably be the only time we ever see Carnage on the big screen.
As always Great video Arris! Love the channel! And now I know a lot more about Carnage than before. Coolest ability I think mentioned, is his durability and regeneration. To be able to withstand so much is an ability that can be taken so far within the comic world. This video was perfect though, Carnage being in the Spider-Verse and Black Tarantula just having Tarantula in his name seemed convenient enough. And the fact that he's even faced off against our neighborhood Spidey...well I digress, lol. I wanted to request an "Origin's" or maybe "History Of" video for the character known as Black Tarantula! I came across his name on Marvels website and read his overview and the abilities and power this guy has is ridiculous. Plus the history of the power, being something that is passed down similar to T'Challa and the Black Panther is pretty cool feature as well. Hope you can work it out in the future sometime. Keep up the excellent work, Go Variant Nation! And another Congratulations to you and your team for Astonishing Times, that's an amazing feat. and I'm happy for you. I can't wait to get my own copy of the first issue. Til my next 2 cents in a topic or request, Be Easy and One Love!
Can you do history of Doc Octopus, Rhino, Sandman, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Chameleon, Scorpion and the Human Fly along with Morbius. Also can you do the history of the Flash Villains like Turtle, Magenta, Cobalt Blue, Mirror Master and Top?
Was kinda disappointed I expected a bit more and for carnage to not go out but I feel like he could come back he did in the comics from drastic deaths but I feel the new movie could have been more
SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIE there are literally several points to be made on how carnage can come back in this video alone. Not to mention venom did eat him in the comics and he also came back, why can't he just come back but this time venom accidentally let's carnage lose in the MCU, bonding with MCU cleatus and maybe we could get like a mini carnage USA, but that's just wishful thinking. I loved movie carnage and I hope he returns
Since it's villains month, can you please do history of the Marvel Villains who appeared in MCU movies from the first Ironman movie like Iron_Monger, Whiplash, Abomination, the Destroyer, Red Skull, Chitauri and so on?
Can you do history of DC's Shining Knight and Marvel's Black Knight? If you seen the recent episodes of season 7 of the Flash, can you do history of Impulse, XS, Psych, Fuerza, Steadfast, Chillblaine, Abracadabra, Rainbow Raider, Mirror Master and Top in your next video?
And yet he was killed off so easily in Venom: Let there be Carnage because of coarse he would be. Hopefully when Venom and Spider-man go head to head we get a post credit showing a new universe version of Carnage and Shriek.
@@zetokaiba5867 If the writers were talented they could have come up with something that contains the symbiote like in the first Venom movie. Then the Sacred Timeline is broken and our Carnage is sent to the timeline with Spider-Man's secret identity is revealed. Cletus from that timeline comes across the caged Carnage and is able to break him. Or something more creative, then an idea off the top of my head.
Carnage should be #1, cuz he's been around for a longer time. Sleeper is 2nd, and they should be close cuz he wasn't artificially aged like the 5 Life Foundation symbionts. He's got some advantages over Carnage tho, since Sleeper is undetectable by other Symbionts. 3rd would be Scream And then there's Riot, Lasher, Phage, and Agony
Not going to lie it wasn't what I was expecting of a movie the new venom one is seemed more comedic than anything else and if you know who Carnage is they tone him down a lot
