Sure, but doesn't that kinda show how sucky that school is if your champion is that weak? I mean even in the real world even if you are a top school in your country doesn't mean you're really a good school though nor does it mean that your students are amazing. I mean take basketball, your school may be top in the division, but in the playoffs you're the worst team. So my point is, you may be a "champion" but not really because they're not really champions yet are they, they're just candidates, just players trying to win the cup meaning once you win the cup then you're the true champion/winner. Let's not even use basketball, take a spelling bee. Before you go into a national competition, you have a school spelling bee, if you win, then you're the school's rep (which is what they are, not champions but representatives) to fight for the national championship. You may be the best at school, but it doesn't mean you're the best nationally until you win the national championship

Crouch didn’t stun her in the second trial, she panicked and messed up. The third trials the only one she can’t be blamed for.

Tfffffff are you readddinnnggg??? Barty crouch jr did NOTHING to fleur during the second task. That was her own inadequacies. She also messed up her first task herself. The only one that cant be blamed on her is the third task.

​@@sunshui6114She didn't mess up the first task. She performed well and didn't break any eggs, unlike Krum who only got a higher score because Igor Karkaroff couldn't keep his biases in check. She's also part veela, and veelas do not mix well with water. The tournament was stacked against her

She spelled a fucking Dragon to sleep! Harry flew around with a broom and she pulled something off that needs twelve trained wizards... taking down a fucking dragon... Sure the second task was bad... but she is literally a part Veela, you know these beings that sprout wings and throw fireballs. Hm, I wonder in which Environment they would be at a huge disadvantage.

I agree.... This would suggest all students in her year are under a 7.7... Im not a fan of the French, but that makes 0 sense. Bill a 9.6 and Fleur a 7.7 makes no sense to me.

Agreed, she was in my opinion the best for the dragon task, her only point reduction was that the dragon when falling asleep accidently set her clothes on fire. She actually showed powerful magic, nothing against Harry... but he just showed how good he can fly, not much more. And in the second task... well she is part Veela and Veela can create fireballs and sprout wings... so I would say an underwater task is not exactly for her advantage... Though I am not sure if you can day she is the best in her generation... She is the best of the ones who wanted to participate.

The issue with this is once they told her it was her sister she has to save she freaked out
