I LOVE seeing the lesser-known Cosmic characters like Oblivion! I want to see more of The Elders Of The Universe (Whatever happened To The Runner or The Contemplator ?) Firelord, The Stranger, Kronos (The God Of Time .), etc. Hickman, make me proud .
I agree. So many cool godly characters are just being forgotten. Such as scrier, Manthing, the Devine Creator, job Burke, Mr Termineus (who may be part of oblivion), Prodige, The Entity, etc…. The listen could go on.
There are 5 being that represent the 3 faces of the Living Tribunal: Necessity - Eternity (Time & Life) & Infinity (Space) Equity - Galactus Vengeance - Death (Time & Life) & Oblivion (Space) Eternity represents the continuation of life & time, while Death is the end of them. Infinity represents the universe & its expansion, Oblivion represents the void surrounding it & its shrinking.

Nah, the One Above All has been stated to be the creator of everything. Meaning he is the creator of Oblivion. Now the One Below All is the destructive aspect of the One Above All.

clearly you dont know what you are talking about and did not watch the video. try again. heres a nice example. I (TOAA) enter the room and want to create a drawing but there is only a table (oblivion). So I (TOAA) put down a blank paper (marvel universe) on the table (Oblivion). Now i draw on the paper (things come into existence inside the multiverse) on the table (Oblivion) Once im done i (TOAA) take my creation (the multiverse and all my creations) i throw it away and leave the room. All thats left is the table (oblivion WHERE IT ALL STARTED)
@@quentinfogger5755 Good question. Since Oblivion controls the Void, one can argue that Oblivion can use Sentry as a herald and control him. Thing is we just haven't seen this in the comics yet, but sure can happen in my opinion.

Of course this new comic could retcon this but whatever.
I feel like Oblivion is the space or format in which art is conceived. He's the blank piece of paper. He's the empty film reel. He's the fresh wall ready for some paint. He's the blank document.
I respect and love this channel but you are wrong in several instances. Oblivion first appeared in Iceman Vol.1, #3 of a 4 issue mini-series. That was it's first appearance. 2ndly, Oblivion is Eternity's equal and it's brother. The two cancel each other out in all reality. Same as Infinity and Death do in the same reality.

I still believe TOAA is THE most powerful. I mean, he is Marvel itself, right? He created Oblivion, the Living Tribunal, Eternity, etc. I don't know. It's the writer behind this comic, but looking at the characters as a whole. There is a hierarchy. Oblivion, according to Variant, is the most powerful among his siblings. I argue that regardless of Tribunal not being able to deal with Oblivion physically, I think TOAA would have no problem since he is omnipotent and omnipresent personified
TOAA created the Marvel Universe within Oblivion. The void is an area of absolute nothingness. No light, sound, height, width, time, space etc. TOAA can't create nothing.
So why doesn't Oblivion take the throne? If the literal God of MARVEL created every character, even Oblivion who is the abstract/construct of nothingness. Look at the power set and tell me otherwise. I personally think he can create nothing. Since nothing had no voice, no body, nothing. The dude literally gave nothing something: a avatar.

Oblivion is the 3rd most powerful Marvel character. Behind (2nd) The one below all and (1st) The one above all. Or he's the 2nd most powerful, because Toba and Toaa are one being. I want to see all the aspects of Oblivion. I only know 2, Black Winter and Chaos king (Mikaboshi or something, can't pronounce the name). I think Mrs Death (literal death, abstract being and lover of Thanos) is one of his aspects too. But I'm not really sure though
Well i saw a scan of comic where oblivion with living tribunal eternity death and infinity were kneeling down to phoneix force. And fulcrum is the 2nd most powerful being.
Ive always thought of Oblivion as being the forces outside of Marvel that are influencing Marvel storylines, so more powerful than the one above all as the one above all represents Marvel writers and editors.
People who think TOAA is the most powerful character do not know anything about comics. Their ignorance is a headache. Rob from Comics Explained, other well informed comic enthusiasts on RU-vid and finally Variant have confirmed TOAA is not the most powerful character. That title goes to Oblivion, or at least his true form.
It’s not really a matter of ignorance. Which god is most powerful in this instance really depends on your belief system and worldview perspective. Which is what makes it an interesting discussion, and why Marvel has not confirmed the ranking one way or another.
@@variantHere's my take: Oblivion's very nature and what he represents makes him the most powerful character in my eyes. I remember he even states that all of existence stemed from his loins and will eventually return to him. He is nothingness and conversely encompasses everything.

What about TOAA ? Because every week we get new most powerful Character Enigma, Oblivion, TOBA and other characters. But isn't TOAA represent the writer so how these character be more powerful than the writer?
Oblivion is literally the canvas that the writer wrote on. Only the writer can be above the canvas. TOAA, is made within the canvas. How could he be above? That would make him the writer which he is not. He is the literal end.
No they cannot because infinity is something even though it cannot be quantified by human means. Oblivion is the sum total of nothingness where everything came from.

There's, no point at all. How, would you add a Lesser physical being in Marvel? Even, Eternity appearing in Thor Love & Thunder is a big thing, which is a universal threat.
This series feels very DC, I guess it’s the very magical aspect of it, I feel dc is more magic while marvel is more scientific, and of course you have your Dr. Stranges and your Cyborgs but idk what it is…rant over ig…
I have a character that I believe is just as powerful. A different kind of power. Evil can not perceive this character. Darksied, The King in Black, Emperor King Doom, Doomsday nor The one below all are capable of attacking this character.

Dude, a big NO. it wasn't the first firmament who created Oblivion, it was Oblivion who created the First Firmament. Oblivion is a powerful deity. He could rival all the gods in the Marvel universe such as a The living tribunal and the One Below All. And what's interesting is that the Chaos King is the avatar of Oblivion in the Chaos War event. I need to read that event.
