Her powers have been there this whole time, she's just been downplayed so the other Avengers can have their moments to shine. That's about to change though...

She's more powerful than that. When she depowered 95% of mutants, it wasn't just the ones on Earth, it was all of them, everywhere, in the entire multiverse.

She was confirmed by the directors in an interview for Endgame that she was the most powerful person on the battlefield.

The way Elizabeth Olsen just says "No" at the end of Episode 2 reminds me of Wanda uttering "No more mutants". At first, I was kinda skeptical that they casted her as Wanda, but they really proved that Elizabeth IS Wanda. She captures that powerful essence of Wanda from the comics. Oooo cant wait for episode 3! Wanda is the queen of uttering short lines.

When it comes to Scarlet Witch in the MCU, my admittedly favorite moment is when she soloed Thanos in End Game. I knew her power in the comics previous to this, so I knew this was a mere scratch of the surface. It HAD to lead to WandaVision, the suspected "Hoyse of M" of the MCU.

Thanos:imma search the whole universe and galaxy for the infinity stones to eliminate HALF of all life Wanda: imma do it for fun

"No more mutants"seems like a line that marvel would use to end a movie and a phase and make it all emotional seeing all fav characters disappear just like infinity war

Her powers are on a WHOLE ‘nother level. Like she, especially in HOM, is literally one of the most powerful beings in all of comics. Wanda is a BEAST

There's a theory that the next pase of mcu is about multiverse and wandavision, dr strange 2 and homecoming 3 is all connected with all the directors of the 3 movies in talks with each other

Kevin Feige went on record saying that there was 1 avenger in Endgame that could've solo'd Thanos and it was Scarlett Witch. THAT is powerful. You can even see it in Endgame when she's about to break him and he has to rain hellfire from his ships.

With WandaVision coming out, they’re finally allowed to shell out her reality-bending chaos magic powers more. They tried it for a while in Age of Ultron, but by the next movies her powers became generic telekenisis a la Jean Grey.

What a lot of people don't realize or know is that Wanda is a really good fighter. She is very powerful with her magic but she is also very skilled in combat! She doesn't just always use her magic she can be very good at non magic fighting. In an earlier comic she faced off Cable in physical combat, and she defeated him! This just shows that she isn't just talented with her magic but very talented in fighting in general! Great video btw! I really enjoyed it.

You know. When I first saw Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch in Age of Ultron, I thought she was like a Sith Lord from Star Wars. That power she had which she could put dark visions inside the heads of The Avengers is something that could had been done in Star Wars and that it could had been a dark Force ability which Palpatine/Darth Sidious uses on Anakin Skywalker to manipulate him into turning to the dark side by putting the visions of Shmi Skywalker and Padme Amidala dying in his mind. Scarlet Witch is indeed a powerful character. Wandavision which leads into Dr. Strange: The Multiverse of Madness marks the beginning of her descent into madness.

I still don't like the fact that she and her brother, Quicksilver, are retconned as not being mutants and children of Magneto. Just so they match the movie version of them.

It’s tough to have a character on screen that’s written to be so powerful in the comics. DC still hasn’t figured out how to make sense of having the godlike Superman seem like he would ever need help from a human like Batman. But I think Marvel is doing the absolute best job that can be done, I definitely stopped doubting their writers’ abilities or intentions a long time ago.

When scarlet witch alters reality to fit her demands, since it’s not an alternate reality she makes, is she actually just changing the fabric of time and everything else? It’s such a crazy power to be able to change every single beings thoughts and memories and all the other things that have to happen to change reality.

Wanda and Vision are 2 of my all-time favorites. I like the MCU version of Wanda and Vision is getting there - so I'm super excited for WandaVision. I have avoided as many trailers as possible so that I can get the full experience without spoilers.

Hmmm new feats are, she can escape from the mirror dimension and not die, she can cast spells spontaneously, she can dream walk with the dark hold, and can change reality with a thought and on command, her blasts are like so powerful, mind manipulation, telepathy was on a whole different level, girl was levelling buildings, she could absorb powers, and she could take hits from a magical canon, take hits from America Chavez take hits from the Illuminati and still not die, she can destroy the dark hold in every universe, that’s a multiversal feat.

If I had to say a close second on sayings with meaning in comics, it would be iron man uttering "...it wasn't worth it."

Chaos Magic, she can literally think of something and it will come into existence, she could have destroyed Thanos by willing him away without touching him, think the phoenix powers, not just limited to earth, only magic can defeat magic. And no, the phoenix is the child of the universe and one of the most powerful in the universe but not the most powerful, there are other beings like: Galactus, Living Tribunal, Beyonder, One-Above-All.

She can rewrite reality and warp reality entirely to her own will and manipulate probabilities and make small dimensions she is unstoppable she is basically a godess she can match the fucking phoenix force this is proof of how the MCU absolutely ruins characters.

The argument could be made-and I think it has been made-that her powers are essentially plot armor.

It wasn't just all mutants on earth...it was all mutants on EVERY earth. IN. THE. MULTIVERSE. She depowered 95% of all mutants in the freakin' multiverse. That right there should make her second only to the One Above All as far as raw power. IF someone said "you can have the powers of any superhero or villain in DC and Marvel comics, but only for 10 seconds", I would absolutely pick Wanda. I've been a big fan of hers since I first saw her in the Avengers comics back in the mid- 70's. And in the years between that and my departure from comics back in mid 86 she remained on of my favorite sorceresses (the other being Zatanna from DC) and remains so to this day, although I am not happy with some...many...most of the changes they have made to her since then... I will always have a fondness for her from those years.
