I just want to say thank you so much for explaining how the reactor works. I’m writing a paper, and for some reason I chose to write about nuclear energy despite having no clue how it works. Looking at diagrams was helping slightly but I really wasn’t getting it, so I found this video and I can’t thank you enough

Great video! I think it’d be cool to see how one of those huge blast furnaces work, as a suggestion

I've never seen IP turbine in any nuclear plant. The exhaust of the HP goes to the MSR moisture separator reheater and back to the LP turbines.

You can see one here: www.ge.com/steam-power/products/steam-turbines/nuclear-arabelle They are not common, but they do exist.

french N4 1500MW and EPR 1650 use an IP turbine. fast 1500 project also used one.

Can you please explain the function of pressurizer in brief
@johnberumen1666
@johnberumen1666 7 дней назад
The pressurizer is used to maintain constant high pressure in the system to avoid the water from boiling during cooling and moderating of the reaction. Pressure is a function of fluids boiling point

This is a video about a "pressurized" water reactor and you don't think the pressurizer is important in a basic video?? Ok

Love the 8-bit tune, could do without the belch, personally. Hashtag constructive feedback.
