I know right, but thats actually what I love splatoon 2 maps in some cases for. Hump back, manta maria, and mako mart all feature a ton of inkable terrain that is just fun to play on. Yes they have their weaknesses but if you absolutely want to outplay your opponents, those are the maps to do so.

They can optimize and streamline all they want but yeah for me personally nothing will beat the first splatoon because of the maps and character it had. Every map was defined with it’s aesthetics being just as memorable as the structure of the actual map. It’s sad, given the sales and growing popularity of the franchise I doubt the series takes another direction but I could be wrong.

@@JDSTACKALOTT Yes, because playing a certain weapon automatically makes you godlike at the game. /s I'm tired of people saying top tier weapons make everything "easy", that is not the case at all. They don't make things easy in the slightest, they're actually very hard to play to their full potential. Top tier weapons *allow* you do things like this, they don't *make* you do them. That's what makes them top tiers, it allows top players like Dude to fully express their skill by making plays like this. They have a high skill _ceiling,_ not a high skill _floor._

I'm good at splatoon it's just I ether get In a spot I can't recover from or the game decides to say nope your dead. It honestly happens in every game I play. Like I constantly have bad luck and am just used to it I don't notice it.

Yeah, same. Same same. And I seem allergic to victory as it IS in Splatoon 3, I’d have died at least five times over in this absurd encounter!

Man, it takes alot od practice. I must've places 2000 hours in this series, and still I'm not close to this. I think I just suck.
