I've tried many these puffed rice cake vendors around town and can vouch for this gentleman's quality product. He's the best. I think it's how he control the temperature of both the rice and the caramel, just enough of crunch and sweetness. My favorite is the brown rice with peanuts. At this location, right in front of the Peking duck store he only open on Thursday and Friday afternoon in the West district of Taichung, Taiwan.
I love these. I used to buy it when I was in Shanghai in around 2008. The BOOM adds drama, it's also advertising. The first time I heard it I asked the neighbors , what was that? They told me and I went to buy a GIANT bag of it and shared with everyone. It's like rice crispie with caramel instead of marshmallow. Totally yummy and not expensive. I would buy a giant bag now if I could. Drool. I really enjoyed my time in Shanghai. Great city.
He is like both good grandpa selling sweet treats and mad scientist at the same time. I mean, look at all of his hard work and craft skills for making that sweet things
you prolly dont care but does anyone know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly forgot the password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
@Davis Dorian thanks for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm trying it out atm. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I remember that pop rice candy, it’s so satisfying to eat, it took me back my memories when was a child that’s in the Manila Philippines 🇵🇭 thanks for sharing the footage 🤝👍greeting from Brooklyn NYC
In Tamilnadu it is called as "pori urundai" same procedure but they'll make it in sphere shape... Very yummy 😋 if any of u ppl visit Tamilnadu, it is a must try snack❤️
I've seen it live. According to him, the pressure makes the rice puffier. If you buy it normally, the rice is not as puffy. This one is on another level. 2nd of all, that Kaboom is loud af. Lol. Dude must be immune to it by now. Real nice hard working man
