Great video love the editing Agree with most of the things said here. Especially on the monetization for people like me who posted one as a trial just for fun and it randomly blew up, and the fact that I am going to be privating, unlisting or deleting them all soon is a big reason why to never post one. I encourage others not to post them and I think other people should too.
Good content will always be valued, most of the rank shorts creators are demonetized proving again why low effort content is valueless regardless of the views they generate, I was new when I posted rank shorts, I hardly posted 4-5 rank shorts but never choose movie edits still they all took off but I soon realised that this isn't something that can be used to create a good impression on the Brawl Stars community, most of the subs are dead and your contribution to the BS community is nil, I then never posted rank shorts again because I'm on a greater mission now, to create a real mark and good reputation in BS community :)
indeed, the mykka russian song used in most rank up shorts is actually copyrighted meaning even if you want to use it to gain quick money it won't work

Most of the content in brawl stars is about rank ups now. Content for games are a huge part of a game getting popular. If we still get usual, no effort, short videos like rank ups they will eventually ruin brawl stars content for newer players.

What I hate about these types of shorts is that they often overshadow the good content out there and gaining millions of views by just simply putting a number over peoples heads and repeating the same song over and over. It just infuriates me sometimes how a new player could search up content on this game and this would likely be their first exposure to what content creation for this game is like.
I've been thinking exactly the same, just because someone's brawler is rank 1, doesnt mean they suck, you can upgrade your brawler instantly before trying it out
I myself I’m sadly a victim of the popularity of these shorts. I created one, and it blew up. After that, I just found it easier to make short form content that takes no time to make, and in hand, I would gain 100s of subscribers and thousands of views. Just to make it clear, I don’t like them either. I wish that my popularity wasn’t due to these videos on my channel. However, you have got to admit that the song in the background is kind of a banger 🎶

Yoo ty bro🔥 I use adobe premiere pro for editing and photoshop for thumbnails. Its a bit expensive but I heard da Vinci is like a really good free software

It took me 30ish minutes to make one of those goofy ah rank up, as I was gonna talk about this as I also (Sorta) interviewed a big RU-vidr, and I also have something to add on: Doing Rank Up videos also ruin your relationship with almost everyone else. People would just know you as ‘The goofy ah rank up idiot’ or something. Best just to never do it.
