it kinda felt like that at first and i thought sweet was dumb for that but paying more attention i came to realize that sweet's point was more about not forgetting where Cj came from and tyng loose ends, the hood became a miserable crack infested wasteland and Big Smoke was living king capitalizing on all that, so Sweet had to remind Cj that he had the power to make the hood where he grew up a better place and settle things for all where they all started.
@@muntadar1655 Yup, I'm sure once Sweet took care of business, he left Groove Street behind to the members there and headed off to hang with CJ. He got tight with CJ's crew.
I used to get clowned by hood ninjas for working a slow but steady 9-5. 27 years later I'm still steady and make more money than that univested fast money. Plus I don't have to look over my shoulder as they did and do!
@@vicokonkwo7776 common misconception, Ja did live in a suburban area but he didn't grow up around the suburbs. theres whole videos of him as a kid in school hanging around the local gang members being cool wit them. same phenomenon as Tupac growing up in a private school going to performance arts classes as a kid then becoming a Blood that shoots at police officers. you are who you hang around, not where you laid your head at night.
@user-jb9mq1kp8o Being himself in different fantastical scenarios... like The Rock (or Denzel Washington if I want to stretch it a bit). Sometimes you get so popular or have such a presence of character that who you are naturally bleeds into every role you play.
@monicarenee7949 Oh, I never meant to imply it is not acting. In my opinion it very much is. I was just expounding on why some people give less credit than they should, and then used bigger names as further examples. If anything, viewers see these roles and think of them less as acting (and, again, a stance I disagree with), and more of "if you put the actor themselves in this position/situation/world, you could see them reacting the exact same way."
I have a friend like this. Dude grew up in a somewhat rough neighbourhood, good rapper, made good money and suddenly decides that instead of being grateful of being out, he should go back in to show he was it. He never sold anything, he never did anything, he was a good student and a good brother to his family. That man had no business being on the streets and I told him that. Luckily he listened and didn't actually go through with something monumentally stupid that would have gotten him killed.
@@jakeizlove facts ima turn into Carlton banks so quick lol specially if we made it out I ain't never going back shit I'll buy up the property from my cottage in Germany lmao
Forreal, and this is coming from a white dude(I think I say cause I'm older like 30), but there's quite a few that I'm sure this went over their heads😂😂
