Girl, as a Seattle resident, love your blogs. Homelessness here is def a big problem, but yeah. We kinda learn to do exist with it because there’s no quick solution to it. Next time you here and if you’re in the city, take a water taxi to west Seattle and explore Alki beach. West Seattle is a while different vibe from the rest of the city. Another wonderful place within the city limits is Discovery park. You can take a bus from downtown and do variety of small hikes. And the beach is beautiful- if you’re lucky with nice weather, the views on mountains are unreal, as well as wildlife. You can rent kayak on lake Union and go towards gas works park, or rent kayak and explore Elliot bay from west Seattle. One of my favourite things to do is to take a ferry to Bainbridge island and back. The destination itself is great, but the journey on the ferry is why I ride it when I need to clear my head. If you’re up for an adventure and you have two days,(48 hours)rent a car on TURO (way cheaper than trough major car rentals , but download all your ids there before you come), rent some gear from REI and go to Shi Shi beach for overnight camping. One of the most beautiful places in PNW, and you’ll get the best night sleep listening to the waves. You can also drive to Cannon beach in oregon (about 3 hours one way) and camp there overnight. The beach is unbelievable, there’s many beautiful parks within 10 minute drive. Hug point state park is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. Let me know if you need some good hikes/suggestions. Because it’s such a beautiful area and even tho I love Seattle, being outside is the whole point of being here🖤
What a great vlog, giving us the flight details and showing sites in Seattle. Unfortunately other crew members don’t like to explore with you. I am like you love hiking,next time you are in LA, I can give you list of places you can hike which are safe and has the beautiful views. Great Job, looking forward to next vlog of yours..
