Omgn that’s a lot and I have 2018 Camry and have 70,000 miles. I hope to make it 200,000+ or more. I’ll keep this car till the wheel fall off. Good to hear it still runs like it’s brand new
@@swagkidm10 out the door with 7 year warranty package(covers toyota care beyond the first two years, rims, and tires) it was 31k brand new. I got this car for the reliability and its pretty decent with the new TNGA platform. I rode 2010-2018 lexus IS, and its literally the same smooth ride, except I get about 48-51 miles on the highway during road trips to OBX/Mrytle beach. It was getting approx 580-600 miles with 87 gas on a full tank this summer driving with A/C on. Good space for a family of 4-5. We wanted an accord too, but Honda skims out on the color coating process, so their paint wont last as long or the gloss will diminish. Hope that helps!
@@jakesmith-ho4bl I did it at the 60-70k to change the tranny fluid. I’m at 115k and looking for a place to do it again since I think the dealer told me every 60k
It’s supposed to be better for the environment. But not a lot of mechanics have the equipment to install the Freon correctly. But all vehicles 2018 and up are running this type of Freon now.
I want one of these because of the fuel economy. Thinking either an XLE, LE Hybrid, or even an XSE V6. I want the goodies that the XLE offers, the gas mileage of the hybrid, and the style of the XSE, but I can't justify losing 6 MPG to get extra stuff. I'd love a red one with a beige interior. Classic Toyota color combination.
2018 Se bought it at 42k miles in 2019. Now, its at 109k miles after driving about 70k miles - Not a single issue nor any Battery issue during Yes, -15F (Boston) and did not give me any issue during cold start even im Montréal, Canada where I go twice a month. Changed: Well....user and abused :/ 😕 Only Oil, filters and One set of tires (I bought yokhoma $150/tire) it rides suppppper quite and smooth with unbelievable traction. Currently have winter tires which rides like an awd - dead serious.
like an idiot i volunteered repo my camry . literally had 2 years left. mines was a 2019 camry with 170k miles . i kid you not , it drove like a dream . yes it was used for uber . the car was never turned off . once small leak on the radiator that's it
I’m a father looking into buying a Camry for my daughter as her first car? Your thoughts? So far everything checkmarks reliability, ease of use, simple to drive. How is the safety rating?
Seen a beautiful 2017, with only 42k miles on it. Was approved for financing, but had to turn it down, because they monthly payments, along with full coverage insurance, would have come up to a thousand a month! I will wait and save up some money!
Apparently this generation’s 4 cylinder engine is more delicate than the previous one, needs 0w16 engine no exemptions and the port and fuel injection makes noises
It is actually more durable to stand up to such a thin oil. I use 0W20 in mine since it protects better. Some use 0W30 in hot climates for more protection.

bc toyota in 2018 started making race cars, lol trying to compete and look like something it's not. I love Toyotas bc how reliable they are. There reliability excites me lol
Is that whining normal when yiur revving the car at 55 seconds, Mine is making the same noise and was wondering if I should take it to dealership , 2018 Camry xse 2.5 L
I have 2017 Camry se with 230,000 miles brought it brand new, at 110,000 miles I had to rebuild the transmission, at 170,000 miles I replaced the water pump and the belt, and clean the throttle body, and regular maintenance, so far the car drives good
4 year old car with 230xxx miles 😝 crazy lol did you ever service the transmission oil. I only ask bc some Toyota say the transmission oil is “life time” and you never have to change it. And from experience I know it’s not lol
That’s sucks man I’m sorry. I always service the Motor and transmission fluids in all the cars. It’s a no brainer lol. Helps keep the car on the road longer. But I’ve had bad experiences with transmission specifically after serving them.
Aww man that sucks call you’re dealership there is supposed to be a recall on the transmission. But good luck I say that bc I called 3 different dealership and they all gave me the “In the system don’t see a recall for your vehicle”
@@povnelson2019 mainly on the 2018 transmissions it’s the programming it’s nothing wrong with the transmission. You get the TSB software update for it and it goes away completely.
I read this comment to late. Lol 😂 We just had a 2015 Toyota RAV4, I did a video on it and I didn’t feel a thing. But apparently we had to get rid of it bc of a transmission shudder problem. Ohh well lol
@POV Nelson it's my first awd car, I can park my car in the garage but I dont. I drive it on the grass all around the house and leave it in the back. For comparison we also have a a front wheel drive camry and on the 3 dayish of raining the car got stuck in the same spot were it was parked, my awd camry has been going in and out for weeks been raining a lot and there's pure mud and the ground is not even so the camry just slides to the sides as I drive on the muddy yard but doesn't spin I love it aha I'm only buying awd cars unless I buy a sports car like a corvette which will be my next purchase, that will have to stay in the garage driven in the concrete drive way lol 😆 any who nice video bro I'm watch it again. 😀 Edit: at 19k miles i changed the rear Differential and transfer case fluid already, not because it needs it but because I simply just love working on it. ✌️
I have a 2020 SE Nightshade in all BLACK. Looks amazing but there is a lot to be wished for the transmission. It is 100% an ECO tunes trans, so can be a little annoying.
@@jesseduarte8979 I bought the car at a Toyota dealer and the car was certified. I still own the car and have had no problems with it but I was suspicious even then that there must be something wrong with the car for it to be so cheap with only 7,000 miles- either the car was in an accident or maybe the mileage was turned back ,but as I said the car was certified so those things don't seem likely.
@@jameswillett7186 That's one hell of a deal. Wow. Cars at a higher demand these days. I should have paid $13k for the car but $2k more ain't a difference maker
I'm guessing many of these comments on high miles on a pretty new car is due to many miles driving for ride apps? And if so how much maintain Is it? I have a 2019 camry SE and will be using it for lyft. I been making a good 120 for every 4-5 hours. Any advice will help 😊
I believe so. I’ve sold a lot of vehicles to ppl doing Lyft Uber. Man the miles add up so fast. Just stay on top of the service, cheaper than paying for a motor or transmission. Also get the extended warranty if you’re planning on putting a lot of miles
Well Toyota is sportier now and I love the look. But I’ve read of the pistons being oversized and the motor seizing up bc of it. Electric problems, transmission problems, and a new type of Freon that’s a pain in my ass lol
