Just bought a 2010 syder with 2.4l in it. So far it runs & handles amazingly. Really bought because its a convertible & i think this car has a great ass!😎
I bought a used 2009 Eclipse in 2020 and love it. Mine is the GT trim that has a 3.8L V6 engine and HID headlights. Love the sound of the engine and the sound of the exhaust note. Has a wonderfully deep growling sound. Not loud & trashy, but just a deep powerful sound. Handling is nice and is an awesome summer car. The 3.8L V6 eclipse is just so much fun to drive.
@@charlesjimenez2322 the 3.8L V6 engine does not get good gas mileage for local driving, but have been getting 26 to 27 highway (rated at 25 mpg). But the 2.4L 4-cylinder does not have the same acceleration as the V6, but has better gas mileage.
I have a 2012 with 60,000 miles. I drive every day in Vancouver, Wa. I work 10 miles from home so I keep miles low. It rains a lot here and it’s leaking around the windows and the blind spots aren’t fun but in the summer it’s a blast. I owned a 2007 before the 2012. Love my car.
Behind the steering wheel are buttons to adjust the volume on the radio. It’s extremely comfortable on long drives. Drove 17 hours from Portland, Or to Palm Springs in a 2007. The most reliable car I’ve ever owned. I have the 2012 now. Wish they kept making the convertible. I would absolutely purchase a 2022 if they made it. I owned a 2007 and there is literally no difference in the style between the 07 and 12.
Do not get a four cylinder these cars weigh 3600 pounds. It’s like pushing a rock up a hill, if you could ever find one get a V6 GT. They are super fast!

It's very very fun I have an orange one with sunroof.it always turns head being it looks different .when I clean mines up it really shows off its detail.its like a cheap knock off wana be Porsche. It definitely gets everyone's attention I also put a white racing stripe on it as well as matching front and rear windshield wipers.It also has a giant speaker in trunk that has very good base.As of recent e-dc code pops up where the clock is located and my radio isn't working at all.

Currently I owned the "Big Sister" of the Mitsubishi Eclipse: The Mitsubishi 3000GT. Mine is a 1999 model & is one of Mitsubishi's Finest; the 3000GT still looks beautiful in 2023, especially if you get the Bright Red one. I also used to own a Mitsubishi Mighty Max Pickup Truck, 1986 model. Simple in design, but easy to maintain & highly reliable mini pickup truck; another useful vehicle Mitsubishi has once made. It's unfortunate that after 2012, Mitsubishi wasn't that great like it was. Mitsubishi's "Golden Years" were between 1980-2012 with Signature Vehicle Models like the 3000GT, Eclipse, & Lancer Evo. Even their other vehicles like the Galant, Diamante, Mighty Max Pickups did have some good remarks by consumers. After 2012 unfortunately, all those legendary Mitsu's vehicles were no longer being produced. Anyways, I am looking for 2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse too, especially to add to my collection. Since I currently own the final model 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT, I was hoping to include the 3000GT's Little Sister, which is the Eclipse. Additionally, 2012 is the final year where Mitsubishi produces the Eclipse. So, I am hoping to find that "Final Year Model 2012" of the Mitsubishi Eclipse to be in my Mitsu Collection with the "Final Year Model 1999" 3000GT.

I know the GT is loved as a beast. Just curious about GS owners of the 4th gen... are there any owners here that can give feedback on driving it? Obviously not as fast, but is it nice for getting by still? Also i get the acceleration is a little less powerful, but can it maintain 70-80s in the freeway without it being overwhelmed? If so, about how high can it go before the shake is too much
I own the v6 for around 4 months now, its knocks you back when you ask it to but its surprisingly rational to drive handles nice, very nice on the highway. The steering is a bit heavy especially if you're comming from a honda or a toyota since the wheels are alot bigger but you get used to it very quickly. I would recommend the manual because Mitsu. autos arent good at all. You do feel the road but the car is quite reliable my only problem so far is I have a leak but that might be due to a newly installed lemon water pump that was recently changed and not really the fault of the car itself.
I’m going to go test drive this exact model soon it has 100k miles on it, I’m wondering, does the sound system come with Bluetooth or maybe an aux cord option?
No Bluetooth I believe it comes with aux but I’m not 100% sure. Why don’t you get a Bluetooth adapter try this one. amzn.to/3p0CtBi I have this one on my car 3 years now its wayyyy better than aux. lol
@@MAATXIM you can actually also get an apple CarPlay monitor that u can attach in the same way as an fm adaptor, those are a bit more pricy tho, like 100$ I think, but worth it, u can find em at target or Walmart
