There’s a theory that Revenant is actually Bob, if you read the pathfinder book you would know what I’m talking about and the reason he might be Bob is because he was able to defeat Kable Cross which then sparked Hammond robotics to use Bob as the simulacrum other than Kaleb since he’s the one who came out on top, so revenant maybe was a good guy back in the past just trying to avenge his family

For those who don’t know the details of Revenent’s death, read Pathfinder’s quest book. Spoilers Below: Revenant tells Pathfinder the story of how he died, and it’s quite brutal. Kaleb Cross (Revenant before he was turned into a Simulacrum) was hired by the Syndicate to “do away with” a man named Bob Woods because he knew about a murder that took place because of them, and they didn’t want the truth to get out. Being a hit man, he complies but no… Oh no it’s so much worse then that. Cross goes the extra mile; instead of simply killing Bob Woods, he targets his wife and kids, killing AND torturing them by gutting their organs, to make an example of them. He took great pleasure in doing so, and held no remorse for what he did. Bob becomes furious and vengeful (understandably so), and he drugs and kidnaps Cross, trying to figure out why he did what he did. When Kaleb mocked him for being a weakling and being unable to save his family from him, Bob loses it and grabs Cross while he’s bound and weak from a drug, and then drowns him in sewage water as if to symbolize that Kaleb Cross was shit himself. So yes, he did die from sewage water, but it was not accidental; he was *killed* by a man who wanted revenge, even if it meant he had to die himself because the Syndicate was protecting Cross.

I use him as my main cause i needed him for the totem and he has so meny revenge notes or words its crazy and i like it

A good addition to this would’ve been pilot regeneration even if only for the DOS cutscene. Invited by the Advocates, pilots will have their body and mind renewed using Hammond and IMC tech with ARES computing. Through that process a pilots conscious is kept alive while their body undergoes renewal augmentation and the mind is renewed for better performance. Core files are memorized and digitized to back up the pilot in case of something going wrong. In the case that regeneration fails and the conscious is unable to be recovered, a simulacrum can be made of said pilot.

So even as a human he was that aggressive… wow

No they didn't turn his body as long as they have the head they can create the simulacrum source code and he didn't die in sewage water if you read the pathfinder quest book it says he was killed when hunting a heavily guarded target

Titan pilots usually get put into these to the army doesn't lose the pilot due to how good they are at well, being Titan pilots. And also since Titan pilots are hard to get ahold of.

I remember there was a simulacrum that was going to be in Titanfall 2 named Jester, who was going to one of the first "immortal" simulacrums, like Ash or Rev. For whatever reason, however, he was scrapped, and his model was used for the multiplayer Phase Shift pilots and retextured into IMC colors for the Specialist Grunts. It would be cool to see Jester as a very movement-heavy legend, and although respawn won't add wallrunning into BR or Arenas, it'd be cool to at least relive slidehopping across the map.

I don't think he drowned in sewage water, from the lore I'm pretty sure he willingly volunteered so he no longer had to have his life in danger when doing mission but Hammond wiped his memory and they used him as their personal killing machine
