WMMS 100.7 was the best radio station ever, until it was taken over by another company and was turned into a commercial station.

Absolutely I used to listen to WMMS every day because I knew that I would hear something new that I never heard before.

The HOF is nothing more than a biased popularity contest, inducting many bands that don't even play rock. One example is the obvious and purposeful banning of Blue Öyster Cult from the hall. They were monsters during the 70's, selling out arena's and headlining shows for years. They're one of America's best rock bands, still touring today!

Cleveland has another first.Cleveland was the city where the words “and girls club”we’re added to the boys and girls club of America. However children are not important. There is always money for five star issues like one hundred million dollars to renovate the art museum.millions upon millions for athletes and arenas while the boys and girls club struggles along.Having to close locations due to lack of funding.Look up RU-vid Boys and girls club Cleveland-Lowe’s to see someone who tried to make a difference.

WMMS 101 (100.7) FM, was the greatest station, ever, until they were sold, then they turned into a cookie cutter garbage station. My mother was part of the hall of fame volunteers, collecting signatures at Great Lakes Mall. Her musical tastes changed before it was built, so she lost interest in seeing it when it was completed. She would roll over in her grave if she knew rappers and country artists were inducted.

Really interesting stuff! In 71 I got into the A-gora ballroom with a fake ID many times and always had a blast there. Remember loosing your shoes on the carpet that was so sticky from spilt beer? Hahaha. Great memories of the place.

Remember D J's? No, not those scratch idiots screaming and destroying Vinyl. I meant those pioneers of Music. They were Music Lovers, These men were the ones with the Guts to go against the grain. The guys with Balls enough to say, "Screw em, what are they gonna do fire me?" They played it anyways, and we loved it. My love of GREAT Music stems from my days growing up in Cleveland in the early 60's and we listened to our AM Radio stations. WIXY 1260, and WGAR 1220. Later the FM Dial was beginning to show it self 101 FM and 98 FM were the stations I switched to for the more unknown artists. HIPPIE Music! I remember John (WGAR) Lanigan Debut of AMERICAN PIE, He Played the Song, and did a repeat play, He then played the Album in complete running way beyond his own time slot into the next shows time. AM Radio did not do this stuff, but Lanigan did. Men with Balls brought me here. Thank You Allen Freed, Kid Leo, Matt The Cat, Denny Sanders, BLF Bash! I must also thank the female DJ"s for playing those Cuts that I groove too, Betty "Crash" Korvan, Paula Ballish. WMMS 101 FM There will never be another like you.

The rock hall was a great concept but has been adulterated by non rock performers.
