Focus on Jesus ! Talk to Jesus talk to God all the time! if you feel like complaining, things aren’t going so well at work, or anything that just bugging you for the day, have a conversation with God! God knows, but I’m sure he enjoys the dialogue! Don’t forget to tell a joke or two!
We use blame as a way to self-justify, as a way to hold on to our power and reputation at the expense of someone else’s power and reputation. Blame is a tactic we use to distract others from our failures. We seek to focus disappointment and outrage on someone else in the hope that we will escape any repercussions of our own mistakes and sins. If we can look externally for fault, then we do not have to look internally at our own faults. We can distract ourselves and avoid sitting with our own sin. This is what Adam tries to do as he blames Eve and God. This is what the old Adam in each of us continues to do daily. Shout out to Jackie for always helping to keep us in check! True, Jackie. I have also found this to be true: Never fight Satan with both hands. He will let you feel you are winning the fight and then spin you into a corner where you lose your bearings and are vulnerable to attack and defeat. Instead, reach and cling to God firmly with one hand and then fight Satan with the other. But always know that your strength is in the Lord, not in your own power. These battles make us stronger. 🙏

This message came to me at the right time. Recently I was betrayed by someone I thought I could trust; 3+ years gone down the drain. I find it incredibly difficult to not despise someone who's so unfazed by the pain they caused. I've never been consumed with this much ongoing hatred. I feel like it's much easier to decipher someone's battles from an outside perspective, but when you're actually in it, you find that it's a daily struggle. Forgiveness can be incredibly difficult.

Such a great word, Jackie! That is a powerful tactic that the enemy uses to create division between us and God. When we stumble, the shame that follows (and are constantly reminded of by the accuser) drives us to seek refuge from His presence, thinking that we are somehow avoiding responsibility and/or judgement. We are forgiven for all our sins. Past, present, and future. Instead of fighting against our selves or others as a result of our struggles, we need to humble ourselves, step into our warrior calling, and invite Him into the fight.

Thank you so much Jackie, couldnt tell you how timely this was again for me. I constantly keep falling to things r affecting me emotionally through others which leads me to so much bitterness and hatred. Its like a chain of thoughts that i choose to take upon myself that leads me to this pool of depression and anxiety. Like u said sometimes the enemy knows our tactics, the way we play better than ourselves and it is important to be aware of the enemy will attack. I`m not ashamed to say that i have been a slave to this attack many a times, but through Gods forgiveness and love it helps me to start over again knowing that his grace is sufficient for me. I really pray for more of Gods wisdom to identify and be aware of how the enemy plans to play with my life. I know its going to be hard journey to fix our eyes fully on God regardless of the circumstance but i think when i choose to do that, it will tremble the enemy! I’m divorced for fourteen years and the Lord told me if I didn’t forgive my ex-wife (she cheated on me with her boss!) that He wouldn’t forgive me either!!! I “released” her to the Lord and prayed for Him to avenge me of her!! Now, I have peace over her!

I may never enter into a relationship with my friend from Church but she's still my soulmate and my sister in Christ and I pray every day she is healed from her past pain and sadness and some of her poor decisions she made and still makes as a result of dealing with her past sadness and pain.
Thank you for these words of wisdom. I've been struggling for almost 2 3 years now of (almost) daily hatred and dealing with gossiping behavior of co workers. Even so far as people trying to accuse others of things just to watch how they react. I finally gave up on opening up to people mostly and just keeping my trust in the Lord and savior. I'm going to start and pray for them when something happens in the future.
I am speechless. My relations with abusive mother are pretty bad and I many times felt bad for fighting with her and hurting God this way. That is so true Jackie. My pastor takes it to another step. He says don't only forgive people that hurt you, but also pray blessings on those who hurt you. A lot of people hurt other people because they are jealous of the person they are hurting.
Yeah. Jealousy is a horrible thing. The whole reason we have sin in the world and Satan is the way he is is because he was jealous of God when he was in heaven as Lucifer. The second time you read about humans sinning in the bible after Adam and Eve is Cain killing his brother Abel, the first murder in history. It was jealousy. Jealousy is a horrible spirit.

You're right on the nose, Jackie. Our compassion for others is far too easily stifled. Instead of loving and calling the lost to Jesus, we as believers often ignore them or drive them away. Yet were we not just like them? For we were once enemies of God, but have been reconciled by Jesus because He first loved us. How then can we deny that love to others? Our ministry must be fervent in empathy, done in the same spirit of our savior.

Jackie today's video was speaking to me about isolation from family and friends because I'm unable to communicate with them on any level...they are right and l am wrong in every situation...l then isolate from everyone so that l can have my own thoughts and focus on what l need to deal with work future etc... Yes… a wise man heeds rebuke. That verse changed my life. I didn’t want to be foolish so God trained me to accept correction and rebuke with humility. I’m not always perfect at it but when I fail I come before Him repent and try my best to correct my wrong
i have been offended and it cost me 15-20 years to get free because i did not know what was going on, but i am more free today, i am still very carefull to just forgive anyone every day before i sleep, please forgive anyone no matter what they do ore who they are, they can all be decieved, and every one can fail. And another thing i have a book from a pastor, that has prayed whit people for cancer many times, and after he asked in to there lives what was going on and found that up to 40% of canver was directly related to unforgiveness to dead ore alive persons, so please forgive, you dont need to meat the person, just speak out the persons name and say i forgive you for that.
