Every object in the universe has a sphere of influence, and if you are in its sphere of influence, its gravity is the strongest of any object at the moment. This also essentially makes it stationary to anything in the sphere of influence because your frame of reference is based on the object. Satellites are in Earth’s sphere of influence. It’s like saying “if earth is moving, why can I jump and not fly into space?”
What if we are one of the colonies but we just forgot or were given up on or even are so far away that the other humans are still on their way back and evolved differently to us. 😂
How sattelites that move against earth rotation are not affected by gravity? Gravity should dicrease the velocity of sattelites and eventiually they would fall.. so how?
Once on its desired orbit satellites do not need fuel burn to keep stay on its course. Occasonally satellites loses its orbital path velocity due to atmospheric drag. Reboosting necessary to compensate the loss and corrects its course. Energy derived from solar panels is enough for reboosting.
