@@legitnaur My bad, I mean, how does one pronounce it in real life? Imagine if his crew ask him about this in real life conversation, in verbal communication lmao
@@legitnaur the worst part is if the track end up banger then he named it like that but on live performance, he has to perform that track. That wouldn't be a problem for him but it would be a problem to the moderator of the event, ya know, to read that name. like in Gundam unicorn live performance, at least it just MAD-NUG ( read backward, Gun - Dam)
Kill la Kill is also quite an underrated work which never gets mentioned much. It was released the same year as Attack on Titan Season 1. Each and every track in Kill la Kill is exquisite with a great deal of effort put into the composition to suit the various characters and their personas. During those years, that is 2010-2014, Sawano was doing back to back works from MSG Unicorn, Guilty Crown, Attack on Titan Season 1, Kill la Kill and Aldnoah Zero. Quite an impressive feat.
Man i feel so proud to see people appreciate sawano's music cuz over here im called weird to be listening to "anime music" like I don't even know the name of the animes for most of the songs cuz i dont categorize them that way cuz in the end u listen to something cuz u like it and i think that's all that matters...😢
I watched a video that broke down the meanings of all his track names for xenoblade chronicles x, its cool to see that despite it seemingly being gibberish they all have a meaning.
Despite the anime turning stupid I really liked his titling of Aldnoah's second ED, 'aLIEz' which implies "Everything from A to Z was a lie". Which perfectly encapsulates that anime.
Here is my favorite Sawano songs with weird names XI from Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway Flash rE:CRe@T0RS from Re:Creators 進撃st-hrn-egt20130629巨人 (also known as Levi vs female titan OST) from AoT season 1 YouSeeBIGGIRL/T:T from AoT season 2 S_TEAM from Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress N01R from Kidou Sentai Iron Saga( mobile game)
st-hrn-egt20130629 is one the best and underrated track in Attack on Titan with the first half used in Levi vs Female Titan and the second half used in the final fight in season 1. It just got overshadowed by the more popular Vogel im Kafig and YouSeeBigGirlT.
It would be really funny if you could do something about Sawanos Lyrics. A lot of the lyrics from his songs are really abstract. I think you could do something funny with it!
@@boemokmoss8521 some Songs are really on the nose, like before my body is dray for example, but some song lyrics are mainly metaphors, that arent clearly conected to the anime. Most Songs from Guilty crown for example. You could take most of these song lyrics into a lot of other Shows and it would still kinda fit. You know what I mean? Take Hill of Sorrow for example, I think that on is quite abstract.
That's true. Sawano's lyrics often remind me of Nirvana songs - they might not make sense for our mind at first, and yet the presence of each phrase or even word is carefully thought out and placed to evoke certain feelings. It's simply genius!
I was listening to the 86 soundtrack by Sawano today and noticed that there's a track on it that's literally called: !”#$%&'()0 I think he just smashed his head on to a keyboard to come up with that. Never change Hiroyuki Sawano, never change
I remember many titles, but I also play this game called "Song/Artist" where you have to name the song name and artist with correct capitalization, special symbols, and whatnot when the song plays. I know someone who can name just about any insert song (songs that play during an episode with singing!!) or song composed by Sawano which is astounding.
@@meden-lx1ge Let me help you lvl up your Sawano membership. Shingeki St (Strings) Hrn (Horns) Gt (Guitar) 20130629 (June 29th 2013). Additionally you'll see Egt (electric guitar) or Pf (piano), Vc (violin cello), Mkorch (mika kobayashi orchestral), Vn (violin). You are now ready to ascend.
The ridiculous Sawano naming is like his trademark now lol If you see something like CC• • •12yl, you probably instantly know that it was made by Sawano
@@Asphyx12 a decent amount of his titles have some type of meaning for example the AOT 1st season titles the numbers represent the dates the music was recorded
Reading the lyrics of aot songs from even season 1 made me realise that sawano is a genius in foreshadowing which also mean that isayama told him stuff WAY in advanced.
Producer: "so in this scene, our main character Rena she has a friend got shoted by an RPG" God Sawano: *have imagined until he crossed out of the solar system
The worst part is that he scatters his songs everywhere, you have to download the single, the album and go through with the stupid title names. Then he has remixes but uses nZk, mZk, MODv, a0v. Even worse his orchestral pieces are all hidden in the OST not the singles ffs.
iirc nZk is the name of his current Vocal project and isnt specifically "remixes" but also used for current new releases "SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:AIMER" Means the track or album etc was done with Aimer as the vocalists" some songs got "adapated" in the new vocal project, getting the nZk label, like No differences [nZk ver.] iirc MODv is "rearanged" in most cases (Modified vocals i pressume) best shown by the Re:CREATORS BGM Re:Arrange CD where all 3 tracks on it are rearanged tracks of main OST pieces, and they all have the suffix obviously this falls apart with hathaway flash which dosnt have any "singnifier" there is madness, but there is order to his madness
As a long time Sawano devotee, this always bothered me and finally someone made it! I was not the only one after all! xDD Made my day and really underrated video! Keep up the good works & best wishes for you man!
he is one of the biggest composer in anime industry, music from popular anime like Attack On Titan, Seven Deadly Sins, Gundam (Unicorn, Narative, Hattaway), Guilty Crown Etc Etc made by him
