Yes! And I was very thankful they didn’t show any predators getting the turtles - I feel like most turtle videos have a footage of that - so thank you for keeping it peaceful :)
I love sea turtles. One of my best memory's is seeing the big mother turtle come on the beach in Florida and lay her eggs, also watching the baby's head for the water. Thanks for bringing back the good memories.
Watching these baby turtles, I realised that we humans have been gifted way more than them, yet we are directly or indirectly are responsible for their lose. Thank you for another hardworking day, Terra Mater.❤️

"The turtle can perceive the magnetic field's intensity, it's angle of inclination & the field lines make with respect to the earth's surface" Man!!!😱😱 They really do have a bright future to become a physics or maths teachers... 🐢🐢 These guys are a really dope... 🔥🔥🤘🏻🤘🏻
As a child I traveled to India with my parents. We visited beaches in Orissa where I saw Olive Ridley turtles pulling themselves out of the sea to lay eggs. That's the only time I saw sea turtles. Thank you so much for bringing back those sweet memories.
Newly hatched turtles move towards the reflection of the moon on the sea, if there are bright lights near the beach they move towards those instead of the sea as they confuse the lights for the moon on the ocean.
Elite channel. Never disappoints. I just watched the deep-sea bioluminescent video and that was amazing too. I can't believe that this is a free channel.
Props to the team for waiting out the hatchlings. I've had the pleasure of watching sea turtles emerge from the sand. It takes them so much effort to get out of the sand so they stop and take little breaks. I was there for hours. Also, the lights from the cities and streets confuse the little turtles and causes them to head toward traffic instead of the ocean, another cause from human interference 💔
Olive Ridley and Green turtles lay eggs on beaches of Odisha in India as well because Sri Lanka and India are neighbours. It's a truly mesmerizing sight to watch the hatchlings trying to get to the sea!
wow they are so innocent and cute and travel the world for thousands and thousands of kilometers just as we do😌👍✈️ ps wanna do something good for the environment today? Go delete the emails you don't need. Look it up it makes a difference 💚
Nice video I would also want to know about the preventive measurements taken by the Sri Lankan governments to ease their breeding cycle and is their any laws implemented to protect these species.
"They somehow find their way to the water." I thought this wasn't a mystery. It's the light. They head towards where there is more light. That's why beach towns are supposed to turn their lights off at night.
What would happened if an egg is moved to a different location. Will it still go back to its original beach or will it come back to the new beach where it was born.?
Why not raise them till they grow big before they will be released on the beach. Just to be sure they all survive. We tried that before, and all was well. All 200 of them now roam the oceans
y'all, search up Jenny Jinya's short comic on Green Sea Turtles and pollution/poaching :'( in conjunction with this video, it really makes you appreciate these lil guys.
I thought that turtles when towards the moonlight reflected on the waves because people who live on the beach have to turn off their lights during hatching time or else the babies get confused and go the wrong way.
For some reason I just found out the person doing the voice acting in the video, also does the voice acting for the fluctus Chanel on here. (At least I think so). Idk probably not so special, but it’s more about me just finding out. Even though I’ve seen multiple videos of both channels before. 😅
A piece must be missing ... Perhaps it is not only due to magnetism, since a lot of precision is needed to arrive at the same beach after 2 or 4 years in the ocean, taking into account that the magnetic pole moves about 50 - 60 kms per year
I wonder if Turtles have a Castistic society where giants turtles are the high Casta and carnivorous ones are the lowest... I would still standing with the Renegades... Out of Casta ! Alone Together ! Exceeding the imposed boundaries with our brains, for compensating our otherwise untouchable bodies... If you wanna meet us you're gonna need to come over and see what is like to be like Us... [Welcome to Outer Heaven ! ! !]
That is a frustratingly barebones explanation and I feel like you've wasted my time by telling me you were gonna say how but then never delivering at all. "They know the intensity, slope and whatnot of the magnetic field" They just do? Magically? No specialize organ/tissue, no experiments done to prove it, no mention of who discovered it, of when it was discovered, just no explanation at all? Six full minutes of video for absolutely no information? Come on. At the VERY least cite your sources in the description. Seriously. Anyone can come up with a barebones explanation and slap it on top of footage without ever having to dig any deeper.
Hi there! 👋🏽 There are many ways on how you can support turtles, here are two of them: 1) Local: Support local organizations by volunteering: india.wcs.org/Programmes/Turtle-Conservation 2) Via web: Wildlife Collections is an official partner of the Sea Turtle Conservancy, which is the world’s oldest sea turtle research and conservation group.
