As I said elsewhere: This is about people who make their living pushing one point of view arguing with those who push another. Nutshell: All about the money.
Fools amongst us. Sir Ralph E. You confirm what I/we we have been taught when I began this odyssey in preparation for this point in history of Humanity. Bless you for following the history. MWM
This is an interesting conversation more than a debate. I enjoy Ralph’s interpretation of classical works. He is like a detective. A modern Sherlock Holmes digging into the past. I would like to hear more and I look forward to reading more of his books. Particularly the transformation of Egyptians into the Hebrew people. How the lineage began and why they cancelled that they were the pharaohs of Egypt. Also would like to know more about Enoch builder of the great pyramid and first Master Mason.
@Ralph Ellis Brother I was wondering if you could create a sort of chart showing on the left side the Egyptian pharaohs and their family’s and on the right side the Hebrew equivalent. I would pay money to have that book.
Thank You for Sharing Your Thoughts on the Mystics of The Bible and Books that Came before the Revised Version. The "MILKY WAY" is INFACT "THE FIRMAMENT", "THE DOME OF GOD", " THE ARK OF THE COVERNANT."...
@@RalphEllis Hello Brother. I have enjoyed your books. Thanks. I also enjoy watching you debate people. While most don’t seem to know much more than the table of contents in the works they refer to. I love watching you smash them with facts and information.
They are probably 10 percent historical. The rest is variations on themes. The point of Adam and Eve is to introduce the concept that we have an eternal partner; that the Shining One, the Snake, David the Morning Star, is a sinner, and that the fiery sword represents the sacrifice of being made to be sin when Adam wields it on the day of vengeance AS judgment. Adam is the Christ beginning his work of the salvation of the Cornerstone. Take a step back; the earth was a wasteland, empty and void of understanding. He found them in that state, in a wasteland, and shielded them as the apple of his eye. Darkness covered the Abyss, the kingdom of David, the Morning Star, who has an everlasting covenant with the Lord working for all of his salvation and every desire. David, your king, whom I will raise up for you. And the Spirit of Christ hovered over the Abyss, shielding them. The rest of the first creation story has to do with the new covenant, new heavens, and new earth. Sea and air creatures wouldn't survive without the sun and moon, which are created later on in the story. God said; "Let there be light". God is the light, and Jesus is its Lamp. The light is created on the first day. The Sun (David) and Moon (his Bride) are created on the fourth day. When I first read the flood story of Noah, I thought the waters above the dome rained down. Now, I view it as an introduction to an icy globe surrounding the earth, refracting light so that there will no longer be night. Noah treads the winepress and gets drunk. The winepress represents the day the fiery sword will be wielded. Though they were both naked, Adam and Noah are covered or, shielded. Both started out in a baren wasteland. ----------- Master of the Deomon Sin: At your right hand is the Lord, who crushes kings on the day of wrath... judges nations, crushes heads across the wide earth... and thus holds high the head. (Psa 110:5-7 NABO) If you do well, you can hold up your head; but if not, sin is a demon lurking at the door: his urge is toward you, yet you can be his master." (Gen 4:7 NABO) It is more acurate to say that the Demon SIn is defeated when the Ancient Serpent of Old has his senses restored, his kingdom returned, and he becomes much greater than before, as the Ancient One of Days, taking a seat upon a throne on the Mount of Assembly. Jesus, the Son of Man, washes his feet and he subject himself and his kingdom to the Son of Man. Christ rules from David's throne and over his kingdom, which he confirms and sustains both now and forever, preserving it for him. He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! (Mat 16:23 NABO) Peter, the Cornerstone. The meaning of the stone you saw hewn from the mountain (Dan 2:45 NABO) And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my (Assembly on the Mount) (Mat 16:18 NABO) The wall of the city had twelve courses of stones as its foundation, on which were inscribed the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. (Rev 21:14 NABO) Peter, the apostle, - the cornerstone. The Snake, Jacob, David, the king of Babylon, Peter, and Behemoth represent the same individual. Jacob/ Israel - The sky over your heads will be like bronze and the earth under your feet like iron. (Deu 28:23 NABO) King of Babylon - But leave in the earth its stump and roots, fettered with iron and bronze (Dan 4:12 NABO) Behemoth - His bones are like tubes of bronze; his frame is like iron rods. (Job 40:18 NABO) Leviathan - regards iron as straw, and bronze as rotten wood. (Job 41:19 NABO) Isaac Blessed Jacob - May God give to you of the dew of the heavens (Gen 27:28 NABO) Let him be bathed with the dew of heaven; (Dan 4:12 NABO) In green pastures you let me graze (Psa 23:2 NABO) his lot be to eat, among beasts, the grass of the earth. (Dan 4:12 NABO) To lie down in, to rest, take repose, dwell, settle, abide in green pastures. -------- Christ is portrayed as crucified. God didn't imbue Jesus with the corruption of sin to bear throughout his life, as is represented in the context of the suffering servant passages. The Messiah, portrayed as crucified: O stupid Galatians! Who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified? (Gal 3:1 NABO) Are you so stupid? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now ending with the flesh? (Gal 3:3 NABO) You have ended your search for understanding with Jesus crucified in the flesh. I’ve never seen Isaiah 40:3 put into context with Isaiah 40:2: (Sacrifice) Indeed, she has received from the hand of the LORD double for all her sins. (Resurrection) Make straight in the wasteland a highway for our God! (Isa 40:2-3 NABO) -------------- Isaac blessed Esau saying: "Ah, far from the fertile earth shall be your dwelling; far from the dew of the heavens above! (Gen 27:39 NABO) "My kingdom does not belong to this world. (Joh 18:36 NABO) Where I am going you cannot come. (Joh 8:21 NABO) The one who descended is also the one who ascended far above all the heavens themselves (Eph 4:10 NABO) "By your sword (fiery) you shall live, and your brother you shall serve; But when you become restive (weak; infirm; a worm; man of suffering; wanderer in the desert), you shall throw off his yoke from your neck." (Gen 27:40 NABO) The image is the same, Jacob grasping at the heel of Esau, the firstborn, and the Snake striking at the heel.
It's easy to defend your hero and dis the rest. The fact is, people who try to make sense usually do: the challenge is to put it all together. In the gospel of Judas the twin, it's just "Jesus"; the "Christ" bit doesn't come until after the rebellion that led to Masada. Cuz it wasn't needed until then. The Greek on Jew violence of 113 CE was probably due to the Jews choosing the historical Jesus; Barabbas, the Jesus Ralph is talking about. The meditative experience of Truth is Christ, and we are gullible; not cuz we can't make sense but, because we're lazy and afraid. The 2000 year lesson is that we're gullible and afraid: we have to take our time and include *everyone*.
I may be an atheist who appreciates a truthful review of the bible cult that presently has America in itz grip, but not from an avowed white supremist, no matter how deep his studies go. Scholarship cannot be separated from morality, anymore than can politics, even if it comes from a familiar and accepted course if study.
I have no idea what Ellis is talking about? "John the Baptist a member of the Odessa royal family" wtf kinda nonsense is that & why isn't Price pulling him up on it? Is this really titled "How should we interpret the Bible" because this isn't that.
Did you not hear what I said? Josephus Flavius links the death of John the Baptist to the marriage of Herod Antipas, and therefore to the battle with King Aretas and the Edessan army. Ralph
