I'm here to say that triple triad card mod is a must have if you want to enhace the taverns of skyrim. It will add a card minigame with collectible cards that you can buy or loot from bandits, also you can earn them by winning, you know... the winner keeps some cards (this also apply to npcs) There are also special cards that you can only get after completing some main quests of the game. You can play with almost any npc of the game. Make sure to download the retextures to enjoy thus awesome mod even more!!
When I first opened this video, I skimmed across the timestamps to see which mods you were showcasing and quickly realised that I already use every single one. And yet, I still watched the entire video because I just enjoy your content that much :) I give this video a rating of 12 Furrets walking swiftly up an escalator toward your next upload. *applause*
@@BardsCollegeGraduate i like your voice, if i were a modder i would ask to you to record some lines and make a follower out of you. you just got such a cute voice.
Thank you for creating the mod, I absolutely love it and it will stay on my modlist forever!! :D And you're spot on with that, taverns are the heart of Skyrim :)
Your videos always contain good recommendations for mods and I find them somehow relaxing. Speaking of relaxing: If you are ever traveling through Germany, I would be happy to invite you to a mead or something similar in a cozy little pub.
:) Excellent collection. Skyrim has always been much more than the quests, dungeons, gods and other. There are also the people, different towns, different social norms; These mods will help becoming part of that much easier and more enjoyable.
I have a mod that makes the bards only play instrumentals. No more Age of Aggression for the umpteen thousandth time :) Highly recommended! Also works with BA Bard Songs and Skyrim's Got Talent
Thank you for highlighting all these mods and putting together such elegant presentation videos to accompany them! My favorite so far has been the Argonian narration from the 'immersion' episode! Also, I love the accent! I know you've been getting that a lot but have one more haha. ^^
Thank you, Subscribed ! My Inns and Taverns are looking great. I have a mod suggestion for you though you may already own it. I couldn't help noticing the flutes were nowhere near the mouth. Flute Animation Fix should sort that out.
the mini games are a cool surprise but ive always wanted that kind of eating mod and it finally happened!! now I'm waiting for a cooking type mini game and then id be so happy I could cry 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Another great video! JK did an amazing job with those Inns. I'm also happy the Ragged Flagon also got some love as it's a place I'm often visiting in all my playthroughs even in the end game where I'm selling off my specially crafted thief potions and enchanted hand made Illusion thief gear for my favourite thieves Who took very good care of me. As such The Ragged Flagon is one of my favourite inns as I'm not having to deal with Mikael again. He never learns. That Winking Skeever player home seems perfect for you and tbh your player character looked quite at home also Tavern games is an amazing addition, I can see myself buying rounds with the money I'd be taking from those poor helpless NPCs as I have quite a few gambling tricks I put into play. One of my ancestors 350 years ago was a crime lord and he taught us all: You make your own luck. I don't cheat but I do know how to read my opponents and plan accordingly while staying stonefaced. I'll team up with you so we can see your purse holding more than 1,027 gold The food mods are amazing. Imagine sitting down to have soup with your favourite bard and talk about the latest Dragon Slaying Quest. I also like the fact you can choose to be more civilised and eat with a knife and fork instead of what everyone would do and just grab the bread with both hands like a werewolf *Wolfish Grin*. It's a nice touch The song variety would also add a lot of atmosphere to the place as when the bards start playing I've found myself memorising and singing every note in real time. It'd be a nice surprise to find my tune getting derailed by a classic Skyrim number 1. Hearing that through the cracks in the floor as you take a much needed bath would be quite the vibe. And I am quite happy you mentioned communal baths as that's a major problem of Skyrim. With all the running, killing and Errands we do, we must reek of Blood and sweat and the only thing I can do for immersion is to vanish into the Solitude port or the Riverwood river or the beautiful expansive lake my Falkreath house overlooks (I love that place). The Windhelm Hot Springs must be a nice dip though, those random hunters had the right idea Now all we need is a round of Gwent and I'd never leave the tavern ever again as I'd be too busy sweeping people with my Monsters deck. It was a lovely video as always and it was the perfect thing to cheer me up from the oncoming dread of going to work (I woke up 2 hours ago at 4am). So thank you for that, just what I wanted to wake up to! See you next week!!
@@BardsCollegeGraduate I have a slight problem with the mod btw. Idk if its a problem because I also have Better Cities for Solitude but the exterior wall is blocking the door on the loft's balcony :| Edit: its the same for the 2F balcony :| cant find a patch for it
Bro they be sleepin on literal stone blocks in Markarth. Why would I wanna pay for that? LMAO XD Edit: That bass from the Winking skeever hit hard on my sub LMAO
Awww yeah, another relaxing and well made video from zhe best skyrim channel! :3 the visual mods are amazing, honestly, the inns really needed an improvement. My favorites are The Bee and Bard and The Ragged Flagon (yes, I love Riften and the thieves guild xDD)... but, still, they are all mandatory in a new playthrough :D . Also, the mini games are so cool, those reminds me of The Witcher minigames like dice poker and Gwent which I enjoyed a lot even though I'm not that good 🙃. EDIT: Oh no I forgot... I totally approve the "inn-credible mods" joke. You must be INN-SANE if you don't like it...
This couldn't have been posted at a better timing, I got a terrible cold and I'm watching as I drink my coffee! I love everything about this video, it might as well be a chill ASMR one haha. Edit: do you by any chance know the name of the first background song that plays in the video? I know I've heard it in a Skyrim music overhaul before!
Get well soon! The first track that plays is Kingdom of Bards by the amazing Adrian Von Ziegler. I think his art has been used a lot on music overhaul mods! :D
Dose all of these come with the new textures or not? Cuz I don’t want to change the textures that much in my game I want it to stay pretty lore friendly.
Everybody and their mother and their mother's dog knows JK's mods, and if they don't, when they sort by downloads they'll see them then. A big benefit of getting featured by relatively well known youtubers(for Skyrim) is seeing new mods. It also encourages smaller mod authors when they get the attention. This is like making a youtube vid that's a PSA about this super good food, pizza. I get you're doing a theme, and there's room there for popular mods, but it just seems really lopsided. I like your vids, hopefully you don't take this is as an insult, only as critique.
No, thanks for letting me know how you feel! I do put an emphasis on showcasing lesser-known mods in my videos, but in a themed video such as this, I will make it about the mods that I 100% endorse and love, no matter how popular. I do understand the idea that it could be counterproductive to showcase popular mods, but in the case of this video, I just wanted to make it all about the absolute best mods according to myself. Thanks for leaving the comment, no insult taken of course.
have you ever considered collaborating with a modding team to bring your bard character to life as a follower? i can see players wanting to travel with a merry skald shield maiden who sings of our exploits and insults to our enemies.
One mod on your list I didn't see is Candlehearth - An Inn Overhaul by SimonMagus . It makes it so you can rent a bed for a day, week or month and pricing varies depending on location and also has a safe storage in the inns early in game. It is also very compatible with other mods. Another great video. Keep up the great work !
Ma'am, Can I invite you to The Bannered Mare for a Tankard of mead?🙂 P.S: been watching ur content and I enjoy the cozy feeling. Keep up the good work👍
I wanted it to play a new vanilla game until i distovered you channel a few days ago. Now i have over 200 mods (half of them i didn't knew) and my new game it's becoming amazing! Thanks a lot. Also, your voice is such an ASMR, hahah. (sorry for my english xD)
Now this is a list of must have mods I'm honestly surprised 😯 and very impresses by this list you did a great job once I figured out how to mod my game I'll be definitely using those mods for my game 😁🥺😍💕
I Think there's One more mod needed,as seeing as it is a tavern,Burps of Skyrim by JobiWanUK would definitely compete the atmosphere. The author has also put out a mod for Snoring from sleeping npcs and soon to be released a mod that introduces flatulence into the game world.
One thing that seems to be missing is a bathhouse. Very popular in Roman culture. Since the game likes the Roman culture, it seems appropriate to add. Nice mods by the way.
just started my 1000th playthrough and i got most of these in my 450+ custom load order. THANK YOU FOR BRINGING TAVERN GAMES TO MY ATTENTION! I love slow immersion and have been wanting a time killer in taverns beyond bard songs, the gambling mods are a bit dated. This is why i like your vids, so homely and comforting!
i remember getting a dwemer slot machine game or something years ago and it was so klunky, i never tried again. between this and the beggars brawl arena, its a good way to play with disposable income. maybe a riften gambling debt mod should be implemented(tehe) @@BardsCollegeGraduate
Skyrim needs customizable ( or at least different styles and colors ) of lute for us bard survivalists to use. The red one clashes with my white aesthetic
Tavern games are fun, but my favorite mini game is triple triad, not only does it add a fun game but also card collecting with a couple of expansions for it as well
@@BardsCollegeGraduate there was another content creator a few months ago who did a similar video and did not know about triple triad either, for some reason it keeps flying under people's radar, it is very comparable to gwent in Witcher 3, it even has a witcher expansion as well lol
Excuse me Miss but we also have lot of inns throughout the minor towns. In this showcase I only see the new Riverwood's inn. I'm going to use nesbit098's Skyrim Farmhouse Inns. How do you think about this mod?
For the minor towns, I have mods that change them, such as Cities of the North - and those overhaul the inns also, and mods like Gonzeh' Nightgate Inn which I have showcased before and this is why I didn't touch them in this video. Skyrim Famhouse Inns does look interesting though, not bad at all and probably the best bet if there's nothing else for the smaller inns!
Honningbrew? Haven’t heard that name in a while. Blackbriar Meadery took over once Honningbrew had to shut down. Not that I had anything to do with that, no of course not!
Can we both meet in such a cozy tavern und you talk me to sleep with your lovely voice and sweet very sympathetic pronouncing. Please make me this dream come true. But anyway: happy new year to you ^_^
@@BardsCollegeGraduate thank you I of course was very certain you would respond to this . 100%! (More likely less than 100% but 🤫😅) i totally understand you can’t out of several reasons not fulfil my wish. I mean I could be a 50 y old really fat Dragonborn (I am not!! 🙈) but I see your reasoning but you really make me calm and give me inner peace and you also make be a bit dreamy and corny 🙈 but the Intensions and components were honest even I assume I am not alone with these intensions anymore but I am happy for you you reach so many ppl and that you maybe get the compliments and mental supports you maybe lacked the years before doing these videos. I also am sorry I can’t make a song for you since I am no bard but if i would be I wouldn’t definitely make a song about an introvert Scandinavian woman who has a lovely taste for mods and a very lovely voice. I am sorry if these kind of comments are uncomfortable for you. If it helps it’s partly for me too since I am an introvert myself and got feedback my thoughtful/dreamy and romantic character is too much for many ppl out there even for family members so it’s okay if you feel similar. But I had to you know. Good feedback/kind words should always be shared, the world and society is cold and disconnected enough. And omg I already write way too much again. 🙈 I wish you all the best, you have my mental support and my sympathies and it really made me happy to read your response here. Take care and please stay as you are! ✨ (I really hope this wasn’t too much but maybe too emotional under a gaming/mod channel i am sorry but there are way too few opportunities to write something like that and show appreciation I 🤔 😅🙋🏼♂)
i am a videographer and i really love how much your video's are being improved. The editing is actually so good with really cinematic shots. pls, keep it up :)
Thanks! :D Maybe a follower could happen in the future, but I'd need it to be perfect and well-written as well as be a better voice actor so... we'll see... 😅
@@BardsCollegeGraduate are you kidding? your voice is perfect for a follower in skyrim, but perhaps you could create that mod since you seem to be a good enough writer for these videos and you write your own lines anyway. but people would love to have your voice as a follower, i would say your voice is on par with that sofia follower mod, diffrent sounding, but just as cute.
i have lots of difficulty installing the mods i want to use, some are easy but the ones that come with animations are frequently far too daunting for me to figure out, i have wanted to use that larg NPC mod that adds animations to everyone, but i just can't figure it out, it's too hard to figure out how to install mods like nemesis which you need in order to make some other mods work properly. the only animation mods i can install without issue are the ones that only use DAR. modding is only easy when you know what to do, but it's super hard when you have a difficult time understanding how to install them, so i normally just quit and move onto other mods that i do know how to install. the sad part is i have been modding skyrim for the last decade straight and i'm no closer to being an expert in modding my game and i have spent countless hours trying to learn how to do things, it doesn't help i grew up with learning dissabilities as that makes learning things far harder and it takes far longer to figure things out.
These are great mods but the majority of taverns in real life are not even close to being this cozy. Maybe if you are in a hotel or on a yacht or something
Some innteresting mod choices inn this video. My Skyrim characters use inns quite often sinnce they're usually too poor to purchase player homes, so this video is innvaluable! Thanks againn!
Life goal for my next profession is to build a Skyrim-esque tavern to sell the mead recipes I've been playing with over the last few years. Complete with an elf themed area to the left as you walk in, dwarf theme to the right with the barrel storage, outdoor garden dining, upstairs dining hall and gaming area.
The main issue with "Tavern Games" is you can only play with npcs who have gold on them, and most npcs have like 7 septims on them. So if you win you can never play with them again. As pockets don't respawn.
