@@flurpprulf1824 I do agree with that point, I just like to look at the positive uses of AI art. For example, I make video games in my free time as a hobby and am not that artistic, so AI generated art helps me create characters and environments. I don't have any money to commission people for art (because it's just a hobby, not a side gig). So yes, AI art is good for specific people. And I do also think professionals need to be careful when using it instead of commissioning real artists.

@@productionsinparadise2880 just because something has use doesn’t mean its negative aspects can be swept under the rug. Making AI art for your game, while benign in a vacuum, costed a lot of pollution and was most definitely based on stolen art. You’re much better off borrowing someone else’s art (since you said it’s a hobby I assume you’re not trying to make a profit off it, so you wouldn’t really have to worry about copyright infringement) or even make your own images. Even if what you make looks bad in your eyes, I think you’d take pride in what you made being something YOU made all on your own.

@@cosmiccomicnerd-dh7qhthere's just so much more visually pleasing and funny images to use that weren't consisting of "art" that is known to be controversial, and it just isn't appealing to see something with no soul be used casually, instead of, again, the hundreds of thousands of Sonic images out there that are created by talented people

@@jar_Jade- I only expressed that it ruined the video and I was disappointed in his doing so. Especially because the video was a fun idea and there was really no reason for him to resort to AI art.

@@AlonzoTompkins- I’d prefer content creators not use the devices that literally steal art and assets from actual hardworking artists who didn’t consent to it. Especially when it’s used in a way that makes no sense as really any normal, official Sonic art would’ve been just fine.
